tolle Wohnung - aber leider ...
Die Wohnung ist schön, groß (größer als auf den Bildern) modern und sauber. Ausstattung soweit wir das sagen können ist gut. Sonne kommt im November nicht auf den Balkon aber auf die große Dachterrasse die direkt zur Wohnung gehört. Ausblick auf's Meer ist wunderbar.
Das Gebäude an sich (Flure usw.) wirkt leider etwas ungepflegt.
Nun zum ABER:
Unterhalb des Schlafzimmers läuft 24 Stunden lang ein großes Diesel-Stromaggregat. Wir haben genau eine Nacht überstanden und uns dann eine andere Wohnung gebucht weil an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Das war uns die Mehrkosten aber Wert. Als Entschädigung haben wir dann noch ein paar Euro zurückerstattet bekommen.
Zudem haben wir den Kühlschrank in der Nacht ausgeschaltet weil auch dieser bei Kühlung ein sehr lautes Brummen von sich gibt.
Ohne das Aggregat wären wir definitv nicht umgezogen und würden ggf. auch wieder buchen, da die Wohnung wie gesagt wirklich sehr schön ist.
Vielleicht vor Buchung fragen wie der Stand vor Ort ist!
Aktuell kann ich die Wohnung leider nicht empfehlen.

Basic but Spotlessly Clean....
Simply furnished with a view to die for the apartment was great for our weeks stay. Everything you needed was included and Marta was a pleasure to deal with. A bigger bed and English TV channels would have been nice but the description told us that the bed would be small and the TV of no value to us so it was not a surprise.
It's a shame that the building the apartment is in is not looked after as well as this apartment... The corridors were dirty, all the glass had not been cleaned in years and the corridor lights did not work which made it feel spooky at night. The lifts also do not work but that was not much of a problem for us.
The location is on the edge of El Cotillo, which is a resort that we grew to love. Some excellent restaurants, great beaches and lagoons in walking distance and that sunset is spectacular when the clouds allow you to see it.
Everybody was extremely friendly and sitting having a beer in the sun by the old harbour was heaven.....

Wonderful apartment and location
Marta'a apartment is a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday in El Cotillo. It is well equipped, clean and has beautiful views. The nearby beaches are so nice and the apartment is in the perfect location. Marta very helpful with local information and we would love to come back to holiday in the apartment in the future.

Lovely apartment, fantastic location
The apartment was well situated with fantastic views out to sea, both from the living room and the roof terrace.
Marta was a great host, meeting us at the apartment to let us in and showing us around. She is also very responsive to messages if you need to contact her.
The bed was very comfortable, great water pressure in the shower and a well equipped kitchen made for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
The nearby supermarket, bakery and Italian restaurant were all very handy and useful. The location is a great place to explore the beaches and the village.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay in El Cotillo, we’ll definitely be booking back in here next time we come back to the island!

Toller Ausblick
Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage und bietet wirklich einen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer. Sie ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, komplett, aber einfach ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Marta ist eine freundliche Vermieterin, gut erreichbar. Die schöne Sonnenterrasse auf dem Dach ist sehr groß, hat aber leider nur zwei Liegen und keinen Essplatz, auch nicht auf Nachfrage. Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war angenehm. Störend haben wir die ununterbrochenen Geräusche eines Generators vor dem Haus empfunden.

Smart apartment with great seascapes
Spacious,light and airy. Close to good beach and a good choice of restaurants. Very clean. Bed comfy.Downside?-2 generators outside the block and their fumes. NOT the owner's responsibility. Hope it's temporary.Helpful,friendly owner.

Pleasant apartment in great location.
The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The apartment is in a beautiful location, very central for all the restaurants, bars and bakery. It has a great fridge/freezer, shower and a very comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here but only have one criticism, and that is the loungers on the terrace had no cushions which meant it was very uncomfortable to sit on them. They are shown to have cushions in the photographs, so this was a bit of a disappointment as we do like to spend a lot of time in the sun. Marta is a very special person, very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her, she also booked us a taxi for our trip back to the airport and let us remain in the apartment for a few extra hours, which we were very grateful for. Thank you Marta.

Lovely place!
I would highly recommend Marta's apartment. It is very clean, well appointed and the fixtures and fittings are up to date and work well. Marta was very friendly and helpful and responded very quickly and helpfully when I had a question while we were staying there. The apartment has a good location, just out of the centre of the village but well placed for the lagoons. Parking was easy as there was plenty of space in the surrounding area.
We will definitely return - thank you Marta!

I have stayed in this building before in a different apartment so I was very familiar with the location which we love.
Unfortunately we did not meet Marta but her correspondence was excellent and we had no problems picking up the keys.
It was nice to sit on the terrace in the morning and of course in the evening for the sunsets. Great shower and washing machine a big plus.
I had a problem with the oven but Marta was quick to respond.I did not realise you had to use the timer to operate the oven,it's probably a safety feature.
Great wifi in this apartment too.
Looking forward to our next stay.

Great Apartment
Hi,
I'm just back from a great two week stay in El Cotillo with my wife and 9 month old. Having been to Fuerte many times before we decided to stay in El Cotillo for the first time. The apartment is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Modern, bright, functional and a good location. Its a little bigger than it looks in the pictures if anything. The view is beautiful looking out to the sunset every evening. Marta is very good to deal with and met us late in the evening on arrival. She called after one week to change bed linen and towels and general cleaning. There is a washing machine which is a great addition. The pools are clean and quiet There is a small supermarket 5 minute walk from the apartment. One of the many beaches is also only a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of lovely cafes & restaurants within a 10 minute walk catering for all tastes. There is a fantastic french bakery across the road that is definitely worth a visit!! The only negative which is kind of out of Marta's control is that the lifts do not work (have never worked) which meant for us with a nine month old, were carrying a buggy up and down the stairs! This certainly wouldn't put us off staying here again, it's just to make people aware of this! We certainly hope to be back and would definitely stay here again!!
