If I were to go to Easter island again, I would want to stay here again. I think Odette, the very nice and responsive manager, would do well to post more pictures of this amazing place. You can hear the ocean in your rooms. You can see the moai from your bed (from the front cabana that we were in...I cant say about the other two). You can have breakfast or dinner looking at the Moai with sunset behind. The sheer location of this place added a phenomenal dimension to our trip. Its walking distance from many festivities of the Feb festival - Tapati - if you happen to go then. Its walking distance from main shopping street, the Church, the Post office. It was clean. Kitchen well equipped. One can find faults anywhere, and here the only one I could find was that the guys in the adjacent property were playing very loud music throughout the day. So you couldnt hear the waves and the quiet. But we were out most of the times, but at times I wish they would quiet down (by law the need to shut it in eve and nights). But thats a 2% bother. The other 98% was super nice. Wifi in Cabin was quite weak and we had to step out on the backside (near odette's office) where wifi was super strong. For us that was hardly an issue. Overall, whats the point of being on an island and not being able to hear the sea from your room? Making avocado toast (et al) in the morning and having it with Champagne in your balcony overlooking the Moai is the best way to start your day. Why then, would one stay elsewhere. We searched a LOT of places in Rapa Nui, and in my view, this is easily the Top 5 "Hotel" one can stay in.

It’s a small vacation estate with with a few (4?) two-storage houses. The houses were standard and we got the one close to the main gate and we were able to see a famous moai (stoneman) from the balcony. We stayed there for 5 nights. The house (with 3 rooms and five beds ie big enough for a family or a small group) was well equipped (everything you need, although nothing lux or fancy). They offered transportation services to/from the airport. And we also rented a Jeep from the owner and thus going around the island was easy and convenient. We did BBQ there in the garden in the evenings watching the sunsets. Nice! The location is close to one of the historical site Ahu Tahai (5-10 mins walk) so we enjoyed a few sunsets and also took night/star photos at the Taihai site. Beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. A bit pricy for a couple but actually good value for a family or a small group

We stayed in one of Odette’s cabins, with a view of the ocean. Very comfortable, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, nice outdoor patio and second floor balcony. Odette had a car that we rented which was very convenient. She doesn’t speak English, but we had a Spanish speaker in our group. Like others noted before, the WiFi is marginal at best. We could get 2 bars upstairs, but downstairs nothing. The Apple products did better than my Dell. This is certainly a drag. We visited the Internet cafe a few times, but their WiFi was not much better. It’s not clear that good WiFi exists on the island, period. Cell service was reliable but slow, but we had no choice to use cellular data most of the time. Easter island was marvelous, and it wasn’t hard to find fun activities for 4 days. I highly recommend horse back riding to the highest peak!

Rented a cabana last week for four days. Spacious apartment with fantastic views of the ocean and tahai. The balcony has nice seating and that is where we had our breakfast and dinner with envious looks from passersby. Ours was the first cabana which has particularly nice views. Kitchen is reasonably well equipped. And the place is reasonably clean and spacious. It has three bedrooms though we were just two of us. Of course, this is not a five star luxury property but adequately comfortable in all respects. Very close to hanga roa as well. The only minor issue is that wifi inside the cabana is weak but good if you are looking for a digital detox. The manager, Odette, is very helpful and nice.

Nos alojamos una semana.. y fue poco!! Está ubicada súper bien. Al lado de los lugares más lindos que tiene la Isla, Tahai, y súper caminable al centro y piscinas naturales. Odette y Carla nos ayudaron con todo haciendo la estadía un agrado!!! También facilitan el arriendo de auto!! De verdad que nos volvimos con muchísima pena.. mil gracias a todos!!!

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil (navette aéroport et colliers au départ et à l'arrivée) et le chalet, très spacieux, agréable et confortable, très bien équipé, avec une belle vue, et relativement proche des restaurants. Veronica s'est aussi chargée de nous trouver une voiture de location. Petits bémols : la douche un peu petite avec un thermostat difficile à régler. Et le prix qui reste élevé, même s'il s'avère finalement correct au regard des tarifs pratiqués à l’île de Pâques.

I stayed here for four fantastic nights with a few friends. The location really is as good as it looks in the photos! The Tahai site is basically on your doorstep and makes for one of the most stunning sunsets you will ever see! It is only a short 10 minute walk to Hanga Roa so everything is within easy reach. The house itself is incredibly spacious and more than enough room for the three of us. It all felt very new and the place was spotless because it is cleaned every other day. The only downside was the WiFi was weak and we never had any hot water on the first night. However, these are both common problems for the island in general and can't really be helped. Note that there are free WiFi zones in town and the one we used quite often was at the Tourist Information centre just around the corner. A special mention has to go to Odette, who I think looks after the properties (her office is next door). She picked us up from the airport and also took us back, both times bearing gifts! As with most people on the island, Odette's English is very limited but we still managed to communicate through a combination of broken Spanish and English! The price may be expensive but it is definitely worth the money. If you're going to Easter Island, then you already know that it is going to be an expensive trip (the $80 you pay when you land pretty much sets the tone!). The location really is perfect and you will love relaxing out on the balcony, staring out into the ocean after a hard days exploring!

Estuvimos 5 noches en una de las cabañas de Anavai, con nuestra familia con 4 niños. Fue una experiencia maravillosa, las cabañas son muy cómodas, tienen 3 habitaciones y 2 baños, una cocina pequeña con un comedor bastante cómodo. Están diseñadas para pasar tiempo fuera de ellas, en la terraza, cerca de la parrilla y disfrutando la vista de los atardeceres y las estrellas en la noche. En las mañanas al abrir las cortinas podía ver los Moais de Tahai, a pocos pasos, increíble! si quieres caminar al pueblo, está a menos de 10 minutos, muy cerca. Lo mejor, el cariño y atención de Odette, quién se preocupó de nosotros todos los días, dándonos datos para diferentes paseos y respondiendo cualquier inquietud rápidamente. MUCHAS GRACIAS!! Hay varios perros alrededor, pero para nosotros fueron compañía y entretención para los niños. Me dio mucho gustó ver cómo separaban la basura para ser reciclada. Nos tocó la cabaña 4, la más nueva, aún sin jardín, pero tiene la mejor vista y esta literalmente frente al mar. De todas formas, si pueden elegir, escojan la cabaña que está en primera fila a la izquierda (mirándo de espalda al mar) , creo es la mejor, misma vista pero con más jardín.

Spent 5 great nights here and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent - we visited Easter Island during Tapati festival and could reach most events on foot. Saved the need to rent a car and look for a parking space. The walk at night is rather dark but we used our smartphones as flashlights. The cabins are also steps for Tahai site which is a must location to watch the sunset. The cabin is new and has a living room, kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, good if you have someone in your group with difficulties climbing up the stairs. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. One with a queen bed and the other with 3 single beds. And another bathroom. The bedroom on the top floor have a balcony and great view of the ocean and the Moai. The cabins are cleaned every other day. There is no washing machine in the cabin, but they were willing to do our laundry for a very reasonable price. On the down side – there is no air condition - can get really hot if you want to take an afternoon nap. At night the temperature is fine. wifi is not reliable - especially during Tapati festival events when there is great demand on the Island's limited bandwidth. But these are minor things. All in all a great place to stay

La ubicación de las casas Anavai es exelente, la casa es muy limpia, esta cerca al centro de la ciudad quizá 10 minutos caminando, nosotros pasamos una semana muy agradable en isla de la pascua y Odette y Avi fueron muy amables e incluso nos recogieron en el aeropuerto.
