Great family holiday close to beach and Brittany countryside
We're a family of five that spent two really enjoyable two weeks at the gite.
What makes the gite stand out for us was its location. It's at the centre of a large village, with a good value and well used bakery one minute's walk away and tennis courts and a park five minutes away. The village in the hilly Brittany countryside, giving a range of outdoors activities to do including walking and cycling. It's 10 minutes from a large supermarket. It's then 15 minutes to a genuinely great stretch of beach, and an extra five minutes' drive to two other beaches. The village also isn't filled just with holiday makers, giving it an authentic French feel.
The gite itself was also well equipped and cozy. It was also great to have access to bikes and beach equipment - this made a real difference. The owner was also very friendly and helpful.
We'd very much recommend the gite to others - it's a great value gite in a great location.

Thanks it is a lovely area, but sadly the internet is not the best.
Good for checking mail and general internet access but not good for streaming.

Super little French village with plenty to do within 2 minutes walking
A huge thank you to Stephen and Melanie the holiday home was just as described.
The village with its local produce, wine bar and the boulangerie which is next door to the gite is an absolute must.
The bread which is baked fresh each morning, with it being next door the fresh smell is an absolute treat, a lovely experience only found in France.
We would rise early in the morning collect some fresh bread and have a coffee in the coffee shop which again it literately next door.
The house was very clean and cosy and very well equipped we even took advantage of the mountain bikes in the garage.
We are booking again next year and we will tell all our friends about you and your lovely home.

A good holiday
i stayed for 1 week at this pleasant collage. the location was good, very quiet but not isolated with plenty of lovely places to visit in surrounding areas.
The accommodation was and described, although i was alone there was plenty of room for a family
Also the cottage was very well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
The garden was rather small. but apart from that all good.

Excellent location and very quiet
The location was perfect and the house was quite charming and exactly what we needed for our family vacation. The caretakers were very nice and the neighbours extremely friendly. Stephen & Melanie were very helpful - setting everything up turned out to be easy, even from 4000 miles away!

Warm log fire and a well equipped home from home.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in your cottage which we found to be extremely well equipped making your place a real 'home from home'. We appreciated the many added extras such as the children's bikes/CDs/DVDs/family games/books/French Phrase books/spare light bulbs etc. and most of all of course, the wonderful 'heart-warming' log fire. We appreciated too the beds being made up on arrival. The cottage was perfect to get to the local beaches and to explore in-land as well as having a great character in the wine bar and lovely little shops. The inside of the Church is as beautiful as the outside. The football pitch/tennis courts and children's playground a few minutes walk away really added too to our holiday. We are hoping to return again and have to say a big thank you again to Stephen for all his help with forwarding on so much information in advance. Being able to contact Stephen directly made for a really personal touch to our holiday and many thanks once again for all his efforts to retrieve an item I had mistakenly left behind. Friendly Village with plenty to do
Four of us stayed two weeks in the comfortable cottage at
Dineault.
We found the villagers very friendly including the children
and the man with his dog. We are elderly so we left our buckets and
spades at home but we found it easy to park our car and watch the
various activities eg. Sand surfing and Fishermen at work.
We found reasonably priced restaurants and the big Le Clerc
supermarket at Chauteaulin a great asset.
There is plenty to do and see in the region, e.g beaches,street markets, little river ports, big rivers, bridges and museums.

cottage = bliss
2 best mates from school looking to relax and take in some new culture, enjoy some nice food and some quiet drinks.
The cottage was immaculate and had more than everything we needed for the week long stay. The beds were very comfy and there was ample storage.
We were there in April and the weather was very pleasant. We hired a car and bought a local map and visited the gorgeous nearby beaches.
The cottage caters easily for quite large families even those with young children. A fully equipped kitchen with a huge supermarket close by enabled us to cook some very nice meals ourselves.
A further alternative would be for a couple looking for a romantic getaway the huge log fire would really set the mood.
This I think would be the perfect opportunity to thank Stephen and Melanie and ill be in touch to make the necessary arrangements for next year very soon.

Our stay in this lovely cottage was nothing short of fabulous!!!
We would just like to leave a short note again regarding our stay in this lovely little cottage in May 2012! Myself and my fiance returned due to our very pleasant stay last year and we were not dissappointed this year either!! There have been many improvements locally with a new children's area including a 5 a side pitch, basketball area and park for the children and the new wine bar with its extremely hospitable landlord and patrons for the adults!! The local area to me is just getting better and better!! We would again like to express our gratitude to Stephen and Melanie for affording us another excellent stay in their cottage! We're really glad we found this place and we will definitely visit in 2013!!

Best holiday ever!!!
I thought i was taking a bit of a risk by driving down instead of flying (with 2 young children on tow) but worked out brilliantly. The drive turned out to be very enjoyable with the ferry crossing a pleasant change for a frequent flyer. Upon arrival to the cottage i was pleased to see that all the rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. The cottage has everything you would expect and the bikes were really handy for exploring the place. The beach was great for the children and we all enjoyed getting the train from the local train station for days out to different nearby beautiful towns and citys. Ideal if you fancy a nice meal out or if you prefare a home cooked meal and a glass of wine in front of the log fire as we tended to do most nights. I couldnt recommend this cottage enough and could have easily stopped for another 2 weeks.
