A lovely relaxing home in a beautiful location
We rented for three weeks beginning Sep 14 and welcomed 12 guests with a max of eight at one time. All enjoyed the home as well as the location.One of the best that we have encountered for 20 years. We cooked dinner most evenings and enjoyed the excellent library. One can walk steep steps to the beach or go by the road. There are at least four excellent restaurants plus pizza parlors on and across from the beach. The weather stayed warm into October. The driveway is steep and best entered from the uphill side. We enjoyed day trips along the coast (e.g., St.Tropez, Antibes) as well as drives into the hills (e.g., Grasse, Cotignac). For all the great things going for this house, it certainly could use a bit of up-dating and tender loving care. That said, we would definitely rent again and recommend the home to others.

La Mami Wata, our second home
A real family home, with beautiful African artifacts and the most stunning view over the Bay of Agay. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The owners are very welcoming and always available to provide information or solve a problem. The village of Agay has a lovely beach and several good restaurants. We look forward to returning to the Mami Wata.

super maison où on se sent bien
Nous avons passé un super moment dans cette maison accueillante et chaleureuse. Où tout est à notre disposition pour être comme à la maison. Le plus de cette maison une vue magnifique sur la mer (de plus très accessible). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Beautiful
We had 2 weeks of absolute bliss in this beautiful and charming house - with the best view of the sea, you can imagine. We will be back next summer !!!

Unbelievable view, we where 7 (family and friends) and had a great stay.
We had a great stay and enjoyed the view and house and the area a lot. We met the owners in person and this was also a great experience.

A pleasant stay
We stayed in this lovely house for two days. The view is magnificent - I got up early one day to see the sunrise and had breakfast outside. The host gave us good tips on finding a lovely boulangerie about a 5 minute walk away and we made a visit everyday during our stay. March is the low season, so the town is pretty peaceful and quiet. We took a train to Cannes the second day and the train station is just about 10 minutes away by foot. It's a small station, though and I wish there were more scheduled trains that make a stop here. We actually didn't mind climbing up the hill as the seaside scenery was more than welcome.
The house itself is beautiful, with a veranda facing the sea and a full glass door facing the same way if you'd prefer to stay indoors. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and there was a supermarket within walking distance as well so we were able to cook at home one night which was nice. It was a really pleasant stay for us.

Magnificent
We have celebrated a party during two days for a week end in april.
The house is very spacious with a beautiful seaview.
Excellent choice.

Not as expected
We visited in September and were quite disappointed that a lot of things were not working in the villa. The hot tub was broken and had been for two weeks since our arrival; we were simply told not to use it, no apology given for it not being available. The high chair provided was broken and not usable or safe for a baby.
I feel this villa is a lot of money to rent and to have things not working despite being advertised and no apology from the owners is unacceptable.
The bathroom was also not particularly clean on arrival and had open and used miniature toiletries spilling on the side.
The property would also not be suitable for guests with limited mobility as there are many steps leading up from the drive (with a stair lift that is not in use!) and the road (or steps) leading up to the property are also steep.
The area itself is beautiful and very peaceful.
We have emailed the owners following our trip to explain our views, but have had no response which I feel is very poor customer service.
Whilst I would recommend the area, I would not recommend this accommodation and feel that you could get better quality for the money we paid for this villa.

Disapointing
We booked this house for a holiday in September and were rather put out (Bearing in mind what it cost us) as the promised, hot tub was not working and had not been working for weeks. As the weather was not great we were looking forwards to using it. An apology would have been nice but the owner is not even replying to my messages.

We answer late because your complained about the weather and ask for a refund, this was late after check out, anyway.
We are sorry if the weather was not as nice as you were expecting. At the End of the season, rates are slowly down, because of some risks to have some raining days, I hope you enjoyed the other sunny days.
The hot tube works only in July and August, and it is an option, not included in the rental. For this option you have to book it in advance, because we have to prepare the hot tub. You asked for hot tub during your stay, we could not prepare it.
For the Holidays Letting customers, we are including the bed linen and towels; this is not the case for others announcements.
The beds were made for you and usually there are not.
We had been in touch with you by phone 2 days after your arrival, and we are so surprised that finally you asked for refund and were disappointed, after your stay.
You are complaining also about the price, we have to let you know our rates are well placed in the market, especially with the location of the villa.
Again we are sorry for your opinion, but thank you to let us know.

Great villa with perfect Agay bay view
We've passed fantastic 2 months (June-July) in Mami-Wata. The villa is fantastic, very stylish, authentic and comfortable! The view from the balcony is really fantastic (sunrise, sunset, and we've seen also a fantastic fire-show on 14th July!). The only thing that I can mention as not very comfortable thing - is the way from the sea to the villa - it takes ~10min walk up the hill(for me it wasn't a problem, just jym). Once a weak there is a market nearby. The host is very pleasant, we've received everything that we wanted, even more! Thanks a lot! Hope to come back).
