The whole team at Ski La Source were brilliant. Great and kind service. Chalet les sorbiers in Les Coches was amazingly positioned for ski in/ski out and well equipped.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine au chalet les Sorbiers. Service remarquable (Linda pour la reservation & Kristian pour l'accueil chaleureux). Chalet traditionnel (interieur en bois) poele à bois. Nombreux détails qui facilitent la vie : ustensile de cuisine, seche cheveux, forfait à l'arrivée... S'il y a de la neige, le chalet est accessible par les pistes, à paques (ce n'etait plus le cas...) Enfin le canapé du salon ne peut être considéré comme couchage (il y a une capacité effective de 8 personnes). Nous reviendrons

Stayed for the first time in the Chalet Les Sorbiers, what a find! lovely furniture and well appointed, could do with another couch for a large group but we coped really well. Great WIFI for those teenagers and so close to the slope, ski in ski out. Beds all kitted out with plenty of pillows and lovely covers, clean, showers all worked well. loved it.

Most French self catered apartments are compact verging on the tiny. Whilst this chalet can't be described as hugely spacious, it is a great improvement on the average. The bedrooms are compact, but adequate. The bathrooms sadly lack baths, (which is a nice luxury after a long days skiing) but the showers are hot and have good water pressure. There is a good area in the entrance hall for storage of boots and skis, and the area is heated so you are not putting your feet into cold boots in the morning. The lounge/dining room/kitchen is all one open plan area. This means that it feels a lot more spacious than it really is, and there is no lost space due to unnecessary walls and doors. The wood burning stove is a lovely addition, and not only gives a cosy look but also is VERY efficient, pumping heat out, and keeping the whole area warm (we turned the electric heating right down in the evenings). If there is anything that could be criticised then it is the lack of comfy chairs. There is an availability of 5 seats when 6 are needed, however where you could fit the 6th seat is a debatable point! The chalet is listed as sleeping up to 8, however since the last two beds are the sofa-bed in the living area, this would make for a VERY crowded chalet. I would not recommend any more than 6 unless the group is extremely well disciplined in keeping tidy!
