Relax
Perfect place for nature and relaxation, away from it all about 8km to nearest town . There’s plenty of land to explore with children and get the use of a paddle boat and the pool is big and of sole use

Fantastic place to relax
This is a fantastic holiday home in a really beautiful and super peaceful environment. We have seen a lot of wildlife in the tranquil gardens en surroundings of the house. The pool was a great place to relax. The house really has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The best feature of the house is the owner Madame Scott. This super kind lady welcomes you with a smile and is always there to help when you need something. If you are looking for a fabulous place to spend your holiday you should surely go there!

Unwind and relax in the countryside .
This is our 2nd time in the last few years staying here in Le Moulin de Ségère .
A beautiful house in the countryside, peace, quiet and relax by your own pool.
Madame Scott was a great host as usual.

Willow cottage
Had a fantastic week stay at Willow Cottage! The house has everything you could need, is in a beautiful location next to a river and lots of lovely villages in the area such as Gargilesse-Dampierre, Montresor, St Benoit du sault, Angles sur L’Anglin. We made great use of the fab pool, lovely terrace area and bikes provided for evening cycles.
Owner Claudine was very nice and friendly and had kindly left lots of lovely goodies ie butter, eggs, wine, madeleines etc..

Delightful, peaceful holiday cottage
This is a perfect holiday retreat for rest and relaxation as it is a remote and beautiful spot, the only sounds are the birds and crickets. Mrs Scott is a fantastic hostess and nothing is too much trouble for her; we had some problems with the wifi and she brought in IT people to help at a couple of hours notice. Apart from the wifi everything worked perfectly, the kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of fans to try to keep cool during the hot weather. The pool is great and we spent a lot of time there; two further patios allow a choice of sun or shade during the day.

Perfect location, great facilities, and a lovely host
The location is wonderful, away from the road, down through fields and next to a river. The pool is kept immaculately by the host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We had use of bicycles and the rowing boat. Perfect.

Amazing
Wow The willow cottage is amazing and the host Claudine is absolutely fantastic nothing is too much trouble, Please if you can make time to have a chat with her, the house was spotless there was not a speck of dust.
my husband and son went on many adventures taking the boat up river and the bikes down to the village while my daughter, daughter-in law and myself made good use of the beautiful pool. The downstairs en-suite was lovely and spacious and the upstairs bathroom is huge, the balcony off the lounge gets the early morning sun so was a good place for breakfast, the walls are very thick so the house stays cool and there are lots of fans if needed. Photos do not do it justice.
Le blanc is only 10 minutes away and has every thing you need, we Visited the restaurant Maision du parc with Claudine and the food was delicious, we don’t speak French so don’t venture out much when in France so we was so grateful to Claudine.
I would not hesitate to book again, we came as strangers and when we left we had gained a new friend. Thank you Claudine for letting us stay at your beautiful home.

Des vacances exceptionnelles
Le top du top. Tres belle maison très bien équipée et tout confort. Piscine exceptionnelle. Mme Scott est adorable. Son souci: le bien-être de ses hôtes. Merci Mme Scott de nous avoir aussi bien accueilli et merci pour les petites attentions lors de notre arrivée.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful stay in the Moulin. Beautiful and clean accommodation, beautiful and quiet area, and a very friendly owner. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and other goodies, and no effort was too much for her to make us comfortable. Top !

Total tranquility
This is a little jewel in the heart of the French countryside. We sat on the balcony and watched red squirrels and jays in the trees and deer in the fields. The river literally runs next to the house and that will be the only sound you will hear apart from the birdsong in the trees.
The house was spotlessly presented and the welcome pack made us feel very special. The heated pool was also cleaned and hoovered every day and we used it even though our stay was well into Autumn.
The owner, Mrs Scott, was fantastic. She made us feel so welcome and even offered to bring us croissants and bread in the morning and take our rubbish to bins every day.
I would say that the house is very near to a stream and a river so children would need supervision but, for us, the house, Mrs Scott and the surroundings were a perfect combination for a week of peace and quiet.
