Puffin Cottage Holidays presents Salty Kisses, a perfectly positioned and recently renovated apartment offering spectacular views over the incredible sandy beach below and across the bay.
Freshwater East is a small coastal village situated on the cliffs of Pembrokeshire. The wide stretch of golden sand, backed by dunes and surrounded by grassy headlands, provides plenty of space to find your own hidden cove and enjoy a barbecue or picnic. Water activities such as kayaking or paddle boarding are popular here and the rock pools and freshwater water stream that runs at the southern end of the beach are perfect spots for exploring!
The apartment itself is second floor yet still offers level access via an elevated walkway (so no steps to climb!). There are two bedrooms - one with a fold down...

A view that was mesmerising

My partner and I just returned form a magical week at Salty Kisses, the apartment was the perfect bolthole for an action packed week in Freshwater East. What we didn't expect was to spend so much time in it!! The view is mesmerising you could sit on that balcony or in the swivel chair for hours watching the beach and the wildlife. There is a path directly to the beach through the sand dunes (a bit of a climb back up but it's good for the thighs). Alternatively before 9am you can drive 1 minute to the car park and walk the dog on the year round dog friendly beach (without paying/free before 9am and from Oct-March)then return for breakfast. The apartment was very well equipped, beautiful kitchen and bathroom, the dinning room is also a double bedroom, which we chose to use so we had that amazing view from our bed! There is a parking space and the carpark has easy access to the apartment for unloading etc... The dog was very happy in the apartment as there is very little noise from above or below, she sat in her bed looking out of the window or on the balcony very contented with life. The sofa was very comfy with recliners, again with that view. It truly was perfect. Thank you, we will be back!
