Nice place to rest
Amazing villa with beautiful views over Bali. Pool has area for small kids. The villa is very clean and fully equipped with everything you need.

Amazing
What an amazing location, beautiful scenery from the surrounding mountains with the beautiful blue sea glimmering in the slight distance.
The villa, garden and grounds were immaculately maintained and the regular cleaning of the villa left it as amazing as it was when we first set eyes on it on day one, extremely clean and tidy!
The hire of a car would be recommended and next time we visit we will definitely hire a car, even though we really enjoyed the evening walks to and from Bali.
The little train that runs round the village is brilliant also as it stops at a taverna just 10min walk away from the villa.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday here and it is now on the list of places to return to.

Fantastic Villa With Outstanding Views
Just returned from spending 2 weeks at Villa Orchidea. Cannot rate this or the other 2 villas highly enough.
Stunning location over looking the bay of Bali and views over the valley.
Immaculately presented, with every thing you might need for a stay.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the villa was cleaned every 3-4 days with fresh bed linen and pool towels.
The pool itself was cleaned every morning before we were even out of bed !
There were days when we didn't want to leave the place as it was so relaxing.
Cannot wait to return

Superbe
La villa est dans un cadre splendide: vue sur les montagnes, la mer, la piscine, au calme. Tout est super propre et très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont bienveillants et aux petits soins pour nous. La voiture est indispensable car on est un peu excentré, sans être éloigné.

We would highly recommend staying at this lovely modern, well equipped villa.
The villa is in a very quiet private location, just a 5 minute drive to Bali and its beaches, shops and great restaurants.
The owners are lovely people, who were there to greet us at the villa at 1am (due to a late flight from the UK), and provided us with food for breakfast.... this was much appreciated the next morning.
The quality of the furnishings in the villa is of a very high standard. The villa was cleaned and towels changed several times in our 9 day stay. The pool is cleaned everyday.
We will return to Bali as soon as possible, and will definitely be staying at this villa again.

Beautiful, peaceful, welcoming.
This is the nicest villa we have ever stayed in. Very peaceful with views down to the sea and surrounded by mountains. Inside it is very well equipped and kept beautifully clean (it is cleaned every 3 days including replacement sheets, towels, robes etc). The welcome pack was one of the best we have had (wine, raki, fruit, cheese, breads, milk, honey, jam, sugar, tea, coffee) as well as providing all the things that are so annoying not to have (washing up liquid, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and washing machine liquid). The hosts are very welcoming and gave us some of their homegrown tomatoes part way through our stay and a traditional cretan dessert. We stayed for 16 days and loved every second. We walked to the village for a few of our evening meals- it's about 20 minutes downhill into the main part of town - and chose to walk back as the stars were breathtaking. You could also grab a taxi back or take the little train to the edge of town and then walk the last kilometre. As the villa was so well equipped we often ate lunch at a taverna on our travels around and then stayed in to eat on the terrace enjoying the views in the evening. There is a lovely little bakery on the far side of town that does delicious desserts. There is a "supermarket" with a good selection of items just as you get into town and you can park near it. I put the term supermarket in brackets as all shops seem to call themselves this - expect something the size of a corner shop or tesco local. There are bigger shops in Rethymnon but they aren't essential. We visited Karavostasis beach in Bali (again by car- the little train also goes here) for some great snorkelling- the sea around Bali is so clear!- but preferred the beach at Geropotamos along the coast as it is less crowded and still has gorgeous clear water (still with a taverna, sunbeds and loungers but lots more space and room to spread a towel down if you prefer. Easy parking under the bridge). There is lots to see and do in this area everything from caves with stalactites and stalagmites (Melidoni and Sfentoni caves), cool, green gorge walking at Mili, minoan sites, the pottery village at Margarites, the monastery at Arkadi to name a few. It's worth having a car to see as much as possible. I would make it a small car as the entrance to the villas and many roads are also small. We had a wonderful time lazing by the pool (this is cleaned everyday)- just a perfect stay. I would definitely recommend here.

Beautiful villas in a stunning location
Actually we stayed in Anenome and not the Orchidea villa we had booked, not sure why that was changed but we were more than happy with Anenome, although Orchidea had the better views out of this set of 3. All are newly built high quality villas with efficient A/C and every convenience. A large canopied terrace looks out over the large and very attractive lawned gardens and pool area.
The owners family who live nearby were extemely helpful, friendly and attentive. The villa was superbly appointed and kept spotlessly clean and the pool and beautiful gardens were maintained to a very high standard.
With the mountains soaring above and the blue sea through the valley below, this was a lovely place to be. A complete absence of mosquitoes was another big plus!
A car is more than useful here but Bali centre is only a 5 euro taxi ride away if you want to have a few drinks of an evening.
We would go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect Stay!
This was our first visit to Crete and we had already stayed for a week on the south coast.
The villa was great, everything that you could hope to find and more. This was one of the first times that we had stayed anywhere and the photographs had matched the reality!
The pool was spotlessly clean and was cleaned everyday. Linen was changed every 3-4 days and the villa was cleaned at the same time. Nothing was too much trouble.
We were ideally situated for trips into Iraklion and along to Rethymno.
We were away from the main town centre, but could easily visit the shops and restaurants. The only nose we could hear most evenings was the sound of the bells on the sheep and goats!
A wonderful place to stay!

Dépaysement et calme
Excellente villa avec tous les atouts pour être dépayser et trouver le calme nécessaire.
Un accueil très agréable et des hôtes toujours prêts à rendre service. Tout y est dans la villa (hormis le chauffage qui peut être nécessaire à la mi-novembre).

Owners of the villa take their buisseness very seriously and try, every day, to provide that quality customer service, that our guests expect.
We are committed to providing the best in facilities and service to our guests, so please allow us to correct that there is an excellent heating system in the villa that is absolutely working through out the year.
The air-conditioning warms to a comfortable temperature (up to 30 Celsius) at a slow pace. As it is self controlled, each guest can choose if they like to switch it on or off during the day. As you may not noticed once the windows are open it turns off. So we apologies for the inconvienience you experience as if we had the possibility to know that during your stay we will be more than happy to explain all in detail.
