Our family of 6adults and 3 children just spent two glorious weeks at Villa Contessa del mare Panormos. Modern & spacious over three floors this villa is fabulous. It even has its own lift! Each bedroom has an en-suite and private balcony, giving views on three aspects. Just steps from the shops, tavernas & beach, this villa has it all. The owner Christina & her husband gave us a warm welcome and even provided games for the kids. We were offered cleaning, fresh towels & linens whenever we wanted throughout our stay, which was great. The pool wasn’t heated but we managed to enjoy relaxing on the patio when the sun came out. The sunsets were spectacular! The Etouri team were brilliant. Special thanks to Kostas and his team for excellent 24/7 support throughout. Thanks also to the lovely Dianne and Iliana when we needed some suggestions for local amenities. Booking was a breeze and we were given regular updates from start to finish. We highly recommend Etouri. We appreciated Kostas’ recommendation of Cretan Taxi Service, who were there to greet us at the airport in a super Mercedes VIP van and also helped us during our stay. Al in all a really great experience!

An excellent choice for a family holiday! The villa is situated right by the sea and only a few steps away from a nice little beach and the Panormo city center (shops, tavernas). The bedrooms are spacious and they all have an own bathroom and balcony (or access to the pool area from the ground floor bedroom) + spectacular seaview. Would highly recommend this villa for families traveling with teenagers.

The villa is in a prime location in the village, so the views and access to the pretty village on your doorstep is second to none! The views overlooking the sea and bay are stunning, and inside the villa, the bedrooms are absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. Personally, we felt the living area and outside area of the villa, especially the pool (for us as a family of 5), was smaller than we had anticipated from the photos, but with the beach so close it became easy to stroll down there easily for a swim. The pool was nice to splash in and cool off, and we actually grew to quite enjoy all the people walking passed & looking in at us in our lovely posh villa! Christina bought us fresh produce when she came to clean, and we even got a cake for our wedding celebrations, it was so lovely of her. She is an excellent host, and the villa was spotless. We didn’t really need to use the concierge service, but I’m sure it would have been invaluable for any problems and advice. If you want to go on any organized trips leaving from village, there is a little booking office down the road. Lots of pretty restaurants surround the villa, and some lovely little shops, the villa really is in a perfect spot as we didn’t have a car. We would recommend Contessa del mare 100% for location and a luxurious stay!

We stayed in the villa as a group of friends, 4 couples. The villa location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, bars and restaurants and two minutes to the beach with its lovely bar/cafe. The villa is well equipped with everything we needed, and everything was very clean and well presented. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Two of the bedrooms are very large with living space and all rooms had outside space. Helpful touches like each room having its own drying rack. The kitchen had enough basics, oil, coffee etc to get us started when we arrived. There’s also a good sized freezer. The air conditioning is a clever system which only works when windows and doors are shut, and the security/door locks was excellent. Panormos is a really pretty town with lots of excellent restaurants, endlessly friendly people and a lovely authentic vibe. We loved the Etouri team, they helped with so many things- rescheduling our trip multiple times because of Covid, booking airport transfers, boat trip etc, making dinner reservations and helping with taxis etc. I highly recommend Etouri, a really professional excellent service. The table in the courtyard garden really seats 6 adults not 8. This wasn’t a problem for us as we rarely ate in. We had takeout pizza one night and just squashed round which was fine and there are plenty of chairs. The pool is small and not very deep, but given the closeness to the beach it’s really not a problem. A really lovely trip, which we would all highly recommend.

We have spent a wonderful 7 days in Contessa with 5 adults and 5 children. The place is not only super comfortable, but offers all you need to feel like at home and more... The pool terrace is lovely and you can walk down to the beach in your swimwear since it's only 100 m. The beach was almost empty all the time, which makes the whole experience even nicer. All the bedrooms have bathrooms and balconies with a stunning sea view . The villa offers fully equiped kitchen but if you're not into cooking, there is a dozen of very nice greek taverns and drink bars just around the corner. Strongly reccomend!

Belle villa, hôtes chaleureux, Christina, et sa famille étaient très gentils et serviables. Une grande villa dans un excellent emplacement! hautement recommandé. This villa is beautiful inside and out and the location is great with views overlooking the beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walking distance meaning car hire is not necessary unless you want to go further afield. The only downside to the villa is that you don’t get the sun on the pool area until the afternoon.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in der Villa Contessa verbracht. Die Villa ist groß, die Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad bieten genug Platz und die Möglichkeit, sich auch einmal zurückzuziehen. Die Lage über dem Strand ist toll, der Weg ans Wasser kurz und in wenigen Minuten zu machen. Gleichzeitig wohnt man mitten in Pánormos und muss zum Supermarkt nur wenige Schritte gehen. Christina, die Besitzerin, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa Contessa vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.

From the moment we arrived at the Villa Contessa, we knew we had made the right decision! Christina is a wonderful host, and it is clear that she truly takes pride in this home and in making sure everyone is comfortable and happy. There were seven adults in our group, and we all had our own spacious room and private bathroom. There was even a small powder room on the main floor. The setting overlooking the sea is incredible, and the location close to town made it easy to walk to dinner or to the shops. The team of Christina (owner), Kostas (manager) and Eleni (concierge) goes beyond what is normally expected to make sure that their guests are happy and have everything they need. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will always have fond memories of our vacation and hope we can return some day soon!

We were a little apprehensive arriving to our Villa as photos can sometimes be misleading. We didn’t have to worry. The Villa was superb. We had everything we could possibly want. Our hosts were very accommodating - especially on our first night when we couldn’t get the air-con working and they came out - no problem at all - at 11pm - full of smiles. It was our incompetence and not that the air-con was broken! The villa is decorated with so much thought and attention. The location was also fantastic. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and maybe 3 minutes at a push to the lovely shops and restaurants. This is by far the best villa in terms of spec and location we have stayed in.
