The location worked really well for us. The scenery is wonderful, you get to the beach in half an hour, and there are nice villages and vineyards to visit nearby.
The owners were very friendly, and their daughter spoke good English. The house was well kept and had ample space for our family of four (we rarely used the ground floor). The first floor kitchen was smallish, but ok. Also, two other things might be relevant to you:
- there was a cat, "Romeo", that lived at/around the house, which our kids just loved, but which might be an issue if you're very allergic
- on a couple of the hottest days the neighboring farmer started working really early and made some noise.
I would recommend this place to anyone who's interested in a mix of activities. The region does not have the absolutely best beaches, highest mountains, or most famous sights, but the total package is great. We plan to come back next year.
