Absolutely stunning Villa! Best thing of all was the private swimming pool, which was cleaned every day and refreshing in the Sri Lankan heat! We stayed over Xmas and upon our arrival found that there was a Xmas tree and beautiful decorations waiting for us. On Xmas, we had a large banquet with seafood, curry and meats, as well as fireworks for entertainment. On Grandmas birthday Senaka arranged a gorgeous chocolate cake, balloons and table decorations which made the evening feel very special. The chef and waiter also came out to sing happy birthday. Finally, on New Years Eve we had a traditional curry banquet with Sri Lankan specialities to try, The rooms are cleaned daily and we loved how the towels were made into elephant shapes.The bedrooms were icy cold with air conditioning and fans, however the main area was a little warm in the Sri Lankan heat. Every morning breakfast was fresh smoothies, toast, eggs, fruit, pancakes and a variety of Sri Lankan food to try. We got to pick from a menu every night for dinner, which was mostly western options and very generous portions. There is even ice cream for desert! Staff are always friendly and very accommodating to any of our needs. Can access wifi in the main area. We saw a lot of wildlife at the villa including, dragonflies, squirrels, birds and a large monitor lizard. Senaka helped us organise our time outside the villa. We went on safari, to a local temple, to the beach, to a seaside town named Galle, a boat safari as well as taking tuk tuks rides to the local town. Bring lots of mosquito repellent, as meals are eaten outside under the patio area. 10/10 would recommend Sandul Villa for an enjoyable stay.

We all had an amazing stay at Sandul Villa over the Christmas /new year holidays. Senaka and his staff were very welcoming they made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you chef for the wonderful outstanding food .My familyall 10 of us had the best time ever in Sri Lanka. Lots to see and do ,the highlight for me was the elephant safari. the people of Sir Lanka are so friendly,helpful and kind. We will always have such fantastic memories of our stay at Sandul Villas.Thank you

We stayed at this villa courtesy of Senaka, his staff and family over Xmas and New Year. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Senaka who could not do enough to accommodate us during our stay. We were four families, and the villa was the perfect location for us to get together and celebrate. The villa was spacious enough for us all to be able to get together, but to also allow for alone time. The villa, pool and grounds were cleaned daily and was kept spotless. The staff were friendly and a joy to be around. We were offered various cuisine options during our stay, which was much appreciated. We had a Xmas banquet and fireworks, and a Sri Lanka traditional foods and curry buffet which was out of this world. The chef prepared a variety of foods which were delicious. Words cannot even describe the banquet breakfast we were provided, which was included in the price of our stay. We had English cooked breakfast with options of fried, scrambled or boiled eggs, or omlette every day, plus cereal, fruit platter, pancakes,cakes, Sri Lanka specialities, yoghurt, jams plus novel other options daily. Senaka was kind enough to organise a selection of trips during our stay. Highlights for us included fireworks on the local beach at New Year, free trips to the beach, and an outstanding local boat trip where we saw an abundance of wildlife. The villa provided a haven for relaxation with superb air conditioned bedrooms, TV with BBC for those who need their news fix, full kitchen facilities, washing machine etc. The highlight for me personally at the villa was the private pool, spotlessly clean, and a wonderful way to cool. Remember your mozzie repellant.

I can’t recommend this Villa more highly. Our 2 families had the most fantastic stay courtesy of the incredible welcome proffered by Seneka and team. Nothing was too much of a trouble and we enjoyed some fantastic trips during our stay. The facilities at the Villa are first class and the food was exceptional. We look forward to crossing path with Seneka in the future and his family. Doesn’t get much better than Villa Sandul.

Reél atout : LA PISCINE elle est magnifique et très grande. Le soir les différents éclairages de plusieurs couleurs dans l'eau et tout autour offre une superbe mise en valeur.... La villa est une maison très élégante et immense. Le jardin est soigné. Tous les jours du personnel prépare le petit dèj, sur les 4 matins nous avons toujours eu des produits et recettes nouvelles et locales (salés et sucrés). Nous avions du mal à tout finir !!!! La villa propose un chef à domicile le soir et nous avons fais appel à ses services 3 fois. Les prix sont très intéressants et il prépare tout sur place.....parfois il arrivait presque 2h avant l'heure que nous avions fixé pour dîner. La table était joliment préparé nous n'avions qu'à nous mettre les pieds sont la table, le personnel s'occupait de tout le service, rangement, vaisselle etc... Une fois par jour quelqu'un vient pour le ménage et tous les matins vers 9h00 un monsieur vient s'occuper de l'entretien de la piscine. En conclusion : tous les services d'un hôtel mais dans une villa rien que pour vous. Il faut savoir que le 1er jour cela peut surprendre un peu de voir des gens venir s'occuper de la maison et de notre bien être mais ils sont adorables (bon faut pas se faire surprendre "topless" !!!!!). A savoir : réveillé toutes les nuits entre 4h30 et 5h car appels à la prière provenant de mosquées situées aux alentours + le bruit des klaxons (car vous verrez au Sri Lanka ils conduisent mains sur le klaxon) émanant de la route voisine.

Nous avons passé 7 jours à la maison. la villa est magnifique et fidèle au photo,le personnel est très compétent, chaleureux et surtout ultra réactif. La propreté est irréprochables.les petits déjeuners sont très bons et copieux et il est possible de manger à la maison pour moindre prix et vraiment délicieux. Pour la soirée d anniversaire tout le monde c est vraiment investi Senaka sa femme même ces enfants ainsi que le personnel.Pour les services de déplacement très pratiques ainsi que plein de super propositions d activités sans aucun ressentis de forcing avec plein de petite visite surprise innatendu de leur part .👌👌👌Semene impeccable je vous recommande vraiment

We stayed at Sandul Villa as a family party of nine. The surroundings were beautiful and the pool stunning. What really made the holiday was the friendly helpful service within the villa from the chef, waiter and other staff, and also the proprietor Senaka’s help and advice with organising excursions; what to see, where to go and the best way to get the experience we were looking for. It really felt like everyone at the property was making sure we had the best holiday possible.

We booked this property following the prompt information and support provided by Senaka. Now we've returned home we've ABSOLUTELY no doubts we made the best possible decision. We travelled as a family of 9 and airport transfers were arranged by Senaka. We were met at the airport and without any fuss were welcomed at the property which was as described. The team in the house met our every need and even decorated our room as it was our wedding anniversary during the holiday. (THANKS again!) Trips out were easy as Senaka provided free local visits to the beach and local sites. He also arranged extremely good value wider trips. His extensive knowledge and local links were invaluable as he arranged safari's and trips that met our exact needs. We researched costs before we left the UK and every activity was better value locally. Nothing was too much trouble - Senaka even arranged a doctor home visit when someone got ill during a day trip. He is such a caring person and went above and beyond to make us feel valued and welcome guests. Breakfast was amazing and there were plenty of Sri Lankan options each morning. Evening meals in the house were again great value and much better than food we sampled in local restaurants. The house and pool (which was actually bigger than shown in the photos) were cleaned daily and the team were great to be around. We'd book again in a heartbeat! The local turtle sanctuary visit was the real highlight but the Sri Lankan people made our break extra special. My extended family and I stayed in Sandul Villa for 9 nights and our stay there was by far the highlight of our trip. Everything was wonderful right from the welcome all the way through. The team of staff were very accommodating and approachable, and always looking to help out. The owner, Senaka, was available and popped in briefly every morning to see how we were doing. He was really helpful in suggesting outings and always knew someone who could help us in what we wanted to do. Amongst our group were 3 small kids and the villa was well setup for us. There's plenty of living space and the villa and pool were well maintained and very clean. In terms of Beruwala as a place to stay, it suited us perfectly; a little off the beaten track so you're not overrun by back-packers and tourists, but with more than enough to see and do, within a TukTuk ride. It's also only 1hr on the train away from Galle which makes a great day trip. All things considered, I can't recommend Sandul Villa and Beruwala highly enough!

We recently completed a family vacation and the majority of our stay was at Sandul Villa. We had an amazing time and would 100% stay again. All the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The food was amazing, better than all the restaurants we went to. We celebrated my sister in-law’s birthday during our stay, the wonderful staff were so sweet and decorated the dinner table for her special day! We are already missing Sandul Villa!
