Nice spacious apartment
I stayed here with 3 friends the first two weeks in September. The apartment is clean and spacious - plenty room for four adults. The apartment amenities are very basic, there is a microwave and 2 ring hob. There is no oven/grill or toaster. It did have plenty plates, cups, cutlery etc. For the cost though we couldn't complain too much. There is air conditioning, however, this was only in the living room/kitchen area and NOT the bedrooms. The pool area was lovely, we enjoyed chilling out here especially after the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik.
The apartment sits on a busy road, although this did not bother us, with a short walk to two super markets and a restaurant. The apartment is also a short walk to the nearest beach and two other restaurants. Its a slightly longer walk along a costal path to Zaton Veleki with a number of beaches long the way. Zaton Veleki has supermarket, post office and a number of restaurants.
The apartment is a short walk to the bus stops to take you into Dubrovnik, although with four of us it was as cheap to use Uber, which was simple to use and we never had to wait on a car for long.
Overall a lovely apartment in a nice area. I would stay here again.

Perfect place not far from Dubrovnik
We stayed at Apartment Kate in July 2019 for 2 weeks and we had a fantastic holiday. The Apartment is spacious and clean and only a short walk down the hill from Mali Zaton, a lovely village in Zaton Bay with 2 Restaurants and a great play area for kids. The closest beach is only 5 minutes walk along a coastal path and our 7 year old son loved it. There is also a fantastic swimming pool at the apartment, which we used pretty much every day. Goran and Sanja were lovely hosts and very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay at this place again and hope to come back to this part of Croatia in the near future.

Fantastic holiday
Perfect place to stay. Everything as it says on advert. Very relaxing. Short bus ride to Dubrovnik. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Pool very handy for cool dip and a short walk to restaurants. and to go swimming in the cove. Would highly recommend of you would like a peaceful break😀

Lovely apartment in amazing part of the world.
Zaton Mali is beautiful. Sanja and Goran are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is lovely and we enjoyed the balcony and swimming pool. It can be a bit noisy during the day if you are on the balcony because it is next to a busy road. When you cross the road, it is only a 2 minute walk to the sea with some nice restaurants. We walked right along the water's edge daily to our favourite coffee bar called Popeye, great Lavazza coffee for 10 kuna. Jetski hire was fun and we took 3 trips by bus to Dubrovnik. We will definately come back to Croatia.

Lovely place, we love it!!!
I stayed at apartment Kate with my husband and our two children. Zaton Mali feels like an idyllic village of 'real' Croatia, especially after spending time in Split and Dubrovnik! It's about a 20 minute bus ride to Dubrovnik old town and I would highly recommend staying here instead of in the crush of tourists in Dubrovnik. The apartment was clean, organized and spacious. The location is beautiful and homely. There is a beautiful little playground a few minutes walk from the apartment. Goran's boys are really nice and they loaned our son a few toys to play with during our stay. Goran and Sanja were wonderful hosts. On our check-in day, they both came to say hello, showed us around in the flat and gave us tips on where to eat, how to get to the city center and what to do in Dubrovnik. We really enjoyed our stay in this flat and would stay again if we should visit Dubrovnik.Great experience, great hosts!

Perfect place for a holiday
Thank you so much to Goran and Sanja for the amazing week we spent at Apartment Kate.
The apartment is even nicer than shown in the pictures, was spotlessly clean and is in a great location. Zaton is stunningly beautiful has everything you need for a quiet trip away - a couple of nice restaurants, a couple of small supermarkets where you can get fresh bread and croissants in the mornings, lovely beaches with crystal clear water.
As mentioned in a couple of the other reviews, one downside (very small downside in our opinion) is the proximity of the main road to the apartment. It's a little noisy if you're inclined to sit on the balcony in the evenings, but it didn't bother us too much.
Sanja was so helpful with bus timetables (the buses are so confusing - especially when trying to get back from Dubrovnik) and was even so kind as to arrange a friend of hers to take us back to the airport as a cheaper alternative to a taxi.

My family had a fabulous time. Apartment is in a great location. Short walk to the bay where the swimming and snorkelling is excellent. Close also to some great restaurants with very good seafood. All amenities like shops, bus and ATMs also close. Apartment is quiet and comfortable and easily big enough for family of four. Balcony overlooks the beatiful bay with hills in the background. Swimming pool lovely too. Goran and Sanja were very welcoming hosts and I would defintely visit again.

Grande valeur,excellent sejour
L'appartement est conforme aux photos. Il est au premier étage d'une grande maison à 4 appartements: deux appartenant aux propriétaires et deux en location. Il est au bord de la route nationale, donc très facile d'accès et avec un parking privé devant la maison. L'appartement est fonctionnel avec deux chambres équipées d'une salle de bain chacune. Le salon cuisine donne sur la petite terrasse ensoleillée le matin et à l'ombre l'après-midi. Personnellement, la proximité de la route ne nous a pas gênés en terme de nuisance sonore. Nous avons profité de la terrasse pour dîner les soirs à côté de la piscine. La piscine est super sympa, presque privée car nous l'avons eu pour nous tout seul toute la semaine. Elle a une vue magnifique sur Zaton Mali en contrebas. La plage est également à deux pas. C'est une petite plage de cailloux dans le petit port de Zaton Mali. Personnellement, nous recommandons de prendre la voiture pour accéder à d'autres plages plus jolies comme celle de Brsecine. Pour revenir à l'appartement, l'accès WIFI est très rapide, la literie acceptable dans une chambre et très bien dans la deuxième chambre, dans la cuisine il y a deux plaques électriques et un microondes. Il restait des petites choses des locataires précédents (produit vaisselle, beurre...) ce qui est appréciable quand on arrive tard. Il y a deux supermarchés à quelques pas. On recommande plus Pemo Market qui est mieux achalandé que Studenac. L'appartement est très bien situé: à quelques kilomètres de Dubrovnik, à 30 min de Ston, à 35 min de l'aéroport et de ses villages environnants et en face de très belles îles. Nous tenions à terminer par l'accueil de Sanja: c'est une personne souriante, disponible et vraiment adorable. Elle saura vous conseiller et vous aider.
Nous recommanderons sans hesiter cet appartement et y reviendrons sans hesitation pour notre prochain sejour a Dubrovnik

Highly recommended apartment in beautiful location
Can highly recommend this apartment in Zaton Mali. We stayed here with our two teenagers for two weeks in July. Weather was beautiful, location stunning, hosts very friendly and helpful, supermarkets and restaurants are within easy reach, regular bus service to Dubrovnik. Croatia is beautiful and would definitely return.

Amazing holiday at this wonderful apartment. Such friendly and helpful owners.
Nice little place. Bonus of having 2 bathrooms. 2 minutes walk to a little supermarket. 3 minutes to 2 lovely restaurants by the sea. We had a car but I believe it would be easy to get up and down the coast on the bus. The pool is lovely, really great she you get back from a hot day out. Goran and Sanja were excellent hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time, giving us lots of recommendations! The hospitality we received was 10/10! Thanks a lot. It was great relaxing stay and we would definitely go back here. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to stay just outside of Dubrovnik!
