Here at Kayenne it is ideal for social distancing. We have a large garden and 5 separate terraces. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected. The crockery and cutlery is all washed with bleach after every client leaves. We have hand sanitisers outside and in each apartment. Each apartment has it's own bbq. Kayenne is set in a small village, Fuente del conde, close to Iznajar and it's beautiful lake. Here at Kayenne we have family-friendly activities. Ideal for touring round the beautiful Andalucian cities or just lounging round the pool. Kayenne has a beauty salon on site, ask Kath for more details. Self catering holiday rentals in Iznajar. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to see the beautiful Andalucia. The ideal location for sight seeing. Close to the crossroads of Andalucia giving easy access to Malaga, Granada and Cordoba. The accommodation consists of 1 and 2, 2 bed self catering holiday rentals The holiday rentals are both built on one level with a ramp down from the pool so wheelchair accessibility is available. Our new roof terrace apartment is on 2 levels. All 3 rentals share the large swimming pool. The pool area also as a shower to cool off in. There is a lawn and garden area with fixed seating, a shady terrace if it gets too hot and plenty of terraces and sunbeds, with table tennis, games and darts for those who feel a little more energetic! The nearest golf course is in Antequera which is 30 mins drive from the apartments. It is an 18 hole course and we are told by previous guests that it is a very good course. There is a beach on the lake at Iznajar which is only a 15 minute drive from the house. Within an hour you can be on any of the beaches on the Costas eg Benalmadina, Fuengirola or if you want to go the Granada region you would reach those beaches in approx 90 minutes. Granada airport is the nearest which is about a 45 minute drive away. Malaga airport can be reached in approximately one hour (depending on traffic). Seville airport is approximately 1 and a half to 2 hours drive away. Car hire is highly recommended. Cars can be rented from any of these airports mentioned. Please contact the owner for further information. The holiday rentals are set on the edge of a small village. A 2 minute walk takes you to the local bar/restaurant which serves good food and the landlord speaks a little English. Also there is a mini supermarket which sells almost everything! In Iznajar there are several shops, a post-office and banks and it has a medical centre which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Further details There are several excellent restaurants nearby and large supermarkets in either Loja, Rute or Archidona, all within a 15 minute drive. Antequera is our closest city and it is very historic having 2 castles and lots of old buildings as well as the tallest mountain, the famous El Torcal. The local lake at Iznajar is a fantastic place to visit, being the largest in Andalucia at 32 kilometres long and going through 3 provinces Granada, Cordoba and Malaga. In the summer there are pedalos and sailing available, or simply swim in the fresh water. Visit the dam at Cuevos san Marco. Visit the local Subbetica (national park). There is a Wolf Park to visit near Antequera, and El Torcal is a very interesting 'lunar' type landscape. Cordoba, which is an hour's drive away, is an extremely interesting historic city which can sometimes be overlooked, but is well worth a visit, to see the Moorish Mezquita and Jewish quarter, among other things. Granada of course cannot be missed, the Alhambra is a must see and Seville is a beautiful city, which again must be seen to be appreciated. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: VTAR/CO/105

Superb Apartment in the real Spain

This was our third time in this apartment and it never ceases to be appealing. When I say apartment it is actually a single storey dwelling beside the owners house. It has all the amenities required for self catering but with the weather here you will discover that you are outside most of the time. The apartment is clean and everything is as described on the website. There is a private terrace on top with superb views of the surrounding area and over to the small town of Iznajar. Evening time is a marvel with the sunsets never ceasing to amaze. The countryside is filled with olive trees as far as you can see. The property is located in a quiet hamlet which has a bar/restaurant about 50 meters away serving excellent food and a small shop nearby. Further afield there are other bars and restaurants located in the countryside and the town of Iznajar has a plentiful supply. Kath and Kev are first class hosts and are always willing to help regarding trips either near or far. Kath is a qualified massage therapist and has a newly built salon on site. Towns within easy reach are Malaga and Granada with Cordoba and Seville a bit further away. Kath is very proud of her immaculate gardens and terraces which have a number of seating areas so you can enjoy sun or shade as required. The amazing large pool is at your door for enjoying a cool dip at any time of day. Free parking and wifi just add to the enjoyment of this wonderful location. To show how much we appreciate this place we have actually booked again for May 2018!

Thanks to Kath and Kevin, we had a great holiday break - fabulous place to stay, two minutes walking distance from the best bar/restaurant in the area, all you need on tap, why go anywhere else !! highly recommend it.

Relaxing and friendly holiday

Just returned from a great week in this apartment. Just what the doctor ordered. A lovely, quiet and relaxing holiday. The place is clean. The pool is as nice as it looks and there is plenty of room to accommodate the three apartments. Kath and Kevin were very welcoming and helpful (maybe it was the reminder of home with those Yorkshire accents ... and we enjoyed Kev's paella very much! )

excelent relaxing getaway

wonderful stay very clean bungalow, hosts Kath and Kevin very friendly, lots of sun beds and large very clean pool. Had a very relaxing stay have stayed before and will be returning in near future. Always a friendly welcome on arrival.

Fabulous

Kath and Kevin are great host's, our accommodation was very clean and spacious, with all the amenities you would want for a relaxing enjoyable holiday, also should you wish to eat out or have a drink, there is a great bar/restaurant within 2 minutes walk plus a shop to top up anything you may have forgotten from your main shopping. I would highly recommend this rental

Heaven and a hidden gem

Kath and Kev are wonderful hosts who go that extra mile for their guests,the welcome we got was wonderful and our accomadation superb .If you are looking for the ultimate chill out break look no further and only just over an hour from Malage,Granada and other beautiful locations in Andalucia

Loved it.

Visited for 4 days with the intention of just getting away from it all and this was certainly the place to do that, still took time to drive out to some of the surrounding villages which were equally as stunning and very welcoming and the area is just so beautiful. Eating out at the bar was very good food and good value with nothing too much for the staff who's English was as sparse as my Spanish but hey it works. Kath and Kev are great hosts and very helpful and have got the right blend of accommodation and area to make it such a relaxing break. Will definitely be returning.
