Cottage
Parish Mill Holidays is a rural retreat in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley offering 2 delightful cottages to suit couples, families and small groups.
Mill Cottage is a spacious beautifully furnished 2-bedroom dog friendly country Cottage. An abundance of walks and activities to suit all ages and close to the River Severn and the magnificent Wye Valley, we are in a prime location.
The cottage is situated in the owners beautiful well-maintained gardens with several bespoke sculptures. With the added bonus of a 5 acre field to walk your dogs.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden area with table and chairs. A hot tub is available for rent at this property on prior request. Additional charge payable. Please contact us for further details.

My happy place
Our second time staying in this cottage and our third time staying at Parish Mill. We love staying here, you get a warm, friendly welcome. The cottages are beautifully done and feel like home when you walk through the door. I always enjoy walking around the property to see if anything new pops up and saying hello to the goats! A beautiful wooden kingfisher now sits by the stream. Great place to stay if you have a dog, our Cocker Spaniel loves it here and you are only a short drive away from some Amazon walks. I am already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you for always making our stay so relaxing, I now call it my happy place as you can not beat the view at the top every morning.

Just had a weeks stay at this wonderful place.
Owner greeted us to make sure we settled in ok.
Very well appointed cottage and superbly situated for sightseeing

Highly recommended
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is beautiful and has all the essentials. We bought our dog along and we had a very secure garden, so there was no need to worry. There is also land to walk your dog which was such a bonus. The cottage is really we located so you are a short drive from a lot of the popular places to visit. We had a very warm welcome from Tracey on our arrival and the owners are around for anything you may need. We also requested to have the hot tub on our stay that was was ready to get in on our arrival, as well as a freshly baked cake was on the side that was so delicious! I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing 30th Birthday Stay
Tracey was brilliant in arranging my wife's surprise birthday stay. Including arranging for balloons to be set up for when we arrived, when we got there she had also put up banners, made a 30th cake and more little touches around the cottage
The cottage is very child friendly with a travel cot, stair gate and highchair all available. There are tons of DVD'S, games and even dressing up costumes
The hot tub was ready on arrival, very powerful and not in view of the other properties
The cottage is beautiful with high quality furniture and deep comfortable mattresses on all the beds
The grounds are lovely including a stream, goat pen and a steep hill with great views at the top
We had a morning out to Symonds Yat Rock which is recommended
The real selling point was Tracey as she made everything perfect for us. She met us on arrival, then left us to it until we were leaving.
We will definitely be returning

Amazing as always!
This is our second stay with Tracey and David. They are such fabulous hosts. The cottage was so homely and cosy. The grounds are really beautiful and our two little pugs really enjoy exploring there. We were welcomed with a delicious cake and fresh bread. We always hire the hot tub as it’s a nice way to relax after a day of walking and site seeing, so we would recommend that.
We can’t wait to come back next year!

We stayed at the cottage for 4.nights in June was very cosy and comfortable and welcoming. Lovely gardens and a very good place to stay to go exploring would recommend. Owners very lovely.

Fabulous Country Cottage
Our family stayed here for a few days after Christmas and it was fabulous. The cottage is warm, welcoming and well-equipped. The gardens, stream, kids mini playground, views from the top of the field and pet goats all added to the experience and i would definitely recommend a stay here.

Perfection
The Parish Mill Cottage was even better than we expected. Tracey was so easy to work with and she and her family were extremely hospitable. When we entered the cottage after a full day of driving, there was a freshly baked cake sitting on the table and fresh bread on the counter. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable in all aspects. We had plenty of space and the gardens were incredible. We have three daughters and they thought this was a fairytale. The footpaths surrounding the area were fantastic and the town was so beautiful.
I would highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect stay
We have just had a perfect weekend at Parish Mill. We were a group of 9 with children. We hired the cottage and lodge. Both were immaculately presented with everything we needed. A really nice touch of freshly baked cake, bread and eggs were awaiting us on arrival. The grounds are stunning and we all felt immediately relaxed. There is a stream at the bottom of the garden with rope swings, and loads of space for the children to explore, they all said it was one of the best weekends! We also hired a Hot Tub, which the children loved, we didn’t get a look in! Loads of great places to visit in the area too, we spent the day at Symonds Yat. Thankyou to Tracey and David, perfect hosts who were on hand but we didn’t want for a thing! We will all be back soon!

Simply Perfect!
We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault anything about Parish Mill. The Location is amazing and the hosts go above and beyond (my daughter is still asking for a slice of Tracey's home made cake.)
There were 3 generations of us staying at the Cottage and we were all catered for. The outside area that is for the cottage use only is enclosed which was great for my 2 year old to run about safely in and the communal garden & field with its goats, fairy doors, stream (perfect for Pooh sticks) and swing provided endless fun and entertainment.
The cottage is very clean and filled with everything you could ask for (including games, DVDs, books, fresh bread & eggs, travel cot etc.)
I would 100% recommend Parish Mill Cottage to anyone heading to the Forest of Dean.
