Breathtaking views, a wonderful beach, superb swimming, diving and snorkeling are right outside your front door. The combination of fun, informal restaurants, expert dive shops, friendly locals, and a relaxed pace of living makes a vacation in Grand Turk uniquely appealing. A trip to Grand Turk transports you back to the 'Old Caribbean,' before big hotels, high rises and crowds of tourists.
Enjoy dazzling water views all day, and relax with a drink or dinner while watching beautiful sunsets. The beach has small tidal pools, shade and (usually) gentle waves. No need to worry about 'reserving a beach chair' on Grand Turk. Instead, miles of virtually empty ...

Beautiful Beach directly in front of the cottage
This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We came to Grand Turk to dive, and the cottage was a three minute walk to the dive shop. It was also within easy walking distance of the grocery store, the liquor store and most of the restaurants. We needed a taxi to get here from the airport, but once at the cottage, we never missed having a car. The beach is directly on the other side of the wall that you see in the pictures. There is a wonderful casuarina tree that offered some shade and most of the time we had the entire beach to ourselves. We did not snorkel, but we did go in and swim directly in front of the room. We did cook several meals, and we always had breakfast and snacks at the room. Food is relatively expensive on Grand Turk and the selection is not great. Tip: Get to the store on Sunday afternoon. That is when the container ships arrive. By the time Saturday rolls around, the fresh fruit and vegetable selection is pretty picked over. On the other hand, the liquor store never seemed to run out of anything. Go figure. Reserving the cottage was easy and trouble free, as was the check in. The people in Grand Turk are very friendly. We were waiting for our ride at the airport, and a gentleman there asked where we were going. Upon hearing that our ride had not showed up, he said, "I know who they will be sending." He then called him and told him to hurry up! When we were leaving to return to the airport, someone we had met during our stay who was not busy offered to drive us (we paid him for his trouble, over his protests).

Stunning Beachfront Cottage
I had a wonderful visit to Grant Turk and one of the highlights of the trip was my stay in this beautiful rental. I enjoyed quiet evenings, spectacular sunsets, and the sound of the ocean waves from while sleeping. The cottage is conveniently located to everything there is to do on Duke Street. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The property manager, Anita, arranged a ride to the airport for me with Jose. Jose made a pit stop at the grocery store on the way in and I was able to get some necessities. Coffee, water and milk were provided. The rental has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after beach time. There's a BBQ grill and beach chairs. I'll definitely return to this property my next visit to Grand Turk.

Excellent location!
Great location right on the beach. (Just be prepared for couple minutes of a little noise when the cruise ship busses go by a couple times a day and when the "Carnival Beach" opens up next door (which it did only once in our 4 days)). You can walk right out the door and be sitting with your book on the beach in less than 30 seconds. You can easily walk to most of the restaurants on the island, a grocery store, as well as most of the dive shops. You could stay here your entire vacation without a vehicle, but I say get a golf cart or car for a day to drive around. This unit had some of the best cookware and knives I have ever had anywhere. We didn't do much cooking, but it was nice to have pots and pans in good shape and knives that were actually sharp! It was clean and well-stocked with both beach and bath towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. Next time we come back to Grand Turk, we will definitely try to stay here again!

Thanks so much for the great review. Imho, the best part of when a cruise ship is in is when they all have to go back to the ship and you get to stay on the beach watching them sail away! I appreciate the comments on the kitchenware - It's a small space to do cooking, but I like to have good tools and I assume other people do too! Per

Peaceful, perfect cottage
This cottage was perfect for our stay. Adequate space for 2, quiet location, clean, and had everything we needed. Most of our time was spent on screened porch or on beach (just a few steps from cottage!) comfortable bed, nice kitchen (we cooked most meals there) and Weber grill was great! The outdoor shower was a real bonus, so nice!
