Tropical Paradise
This home was everything we hoped it would be. Every room has a view of the ocean. The pool was enjoyed at sunset after a long day at the beach. The deck was a a wonderful place to have dinner under the stars or breakfast with the tropical island breeze.

Fantastic view
This house is a mazing, very nice and very well kept. Manager and owner very easy to deal with. Great location, good views, nice furniture and a great balcony with pool and grill. We recommend it.

Beautiful Views
Gorgeous views. Home is high up in the hills, nice and private.
Decor could use some updating. Master bed was great but the other two were not comfortable.

Perfect house for couple & their adult kids!
The booking and prearrival coordination with Claudia was very easy and thorough. The house manager knows the island so well, and conveniently met us at the rental car pickup, so it was easy to follow her up, up, up to the house! What a driveway! But the view is so worth it! The pool deck was awesome, the interior furniture very comfortable, the kitchen was just right. The pool deck is fairly private, plenty to look at. The beach chairs were in great shape, and there was both a large & small cooler to take to the beach. Bedrooms each had their own A/C, every room has a direct ocean view. Great hot water & pressure. We rarely used the TV, but the wifi was good enough to sneak in some work during vacation. Our 8th time on the island, but the first time staying near Cruz Bay. Very convenient to groceries, gas & restaurants. Would love to come back in the future! Thank you Claudia & Myrtle!

Great vacation location
The views are amazing..The home is nothing short of spectacular. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else, now that I have found this great home. We will be back next year, and will hopefully get to stay here (books quickly). Thanks for everything....

Best vacation ever
You will not find a better place to stay, with a view that is priceless. The property is in great shape, and perfect location. Everyone on the island is extremely friendly and helpful. We will visit again..

Best vacation spot ever!
I had the privilege of staying in this incredible villa for 3 nights. We were a group of 6 and we all slept comfortably, waking up every day in paradise. All the rooms faced the water so we never fought over who would get the best view. They have an outdoor grill making it super easy to cook dinner and hang outside by the pool. It was by far one of my favorite vacation spots! Would definitely return!

Perfect in every way!
10 out of 10! Beautiful villa with everything anybody could want. Lovely pool. Beautiful fully functional kitchen and dining room. Earth shaking views. Easy access to town and beaches. Car rental is helpful. This place is clean, well-cared for and very comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room. A gorgeous deck. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you for everything! We hope to return.

Perfect!!
Villa Mar De Amores was everything we could ask for and so much more!! From start to finish the experience was PERFECT. The owner, Claudia, was extremely easy to work with and very responsive to my many questions as this was our first time staying on the island. Myrtle, the house manager was quite delightful and quick to respond to any of our needs. The location of this villa is ideal...a short drive to town yet located up in the tree tops where you can enjoy total privacy with the most amazing ocean and sunset views.
The villa feels so spacious with its high ceilings, wall of sliding glass doors, and balcony off the bedrooms. The outdoor living space includes an expansive deck with a refreshing pool, a sunny lounging area, a covered space for dining alfresco, and a generously sized grill.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time on St. John and would highly recommend Villa Mar De Amores as your "island home away from home".
