Beautiful place, exquisite view, excellent condo
We stayed in the condo with another couple for a week in early March. Weather was fantastic! We walked the beach every day, swam in the pool, swam with whale sharks (not in the pool!), and generally enjoyed the location for its beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The 4th floor condo was spacious for 2 couples and the view from the balcony was lovely. Transportation was prompt and the water taxi to and from La Paz was always on time. The only down side was the occasional loud music at night that carried over the water from a bar on the La Paz shore but we'd go back in a heartbeat.

LaPaz getaway
This was our 2nd time at Paraiso del Mar and we are planning another trip already and bringing along two more couples. The condos are spacious and you have everything you need. I prefer the condos on the 2nd/3rd level I like the balacony :).
We hired a private captian and got to see the shark whales and swim with them. It was the most amazaing thing I've done. I wish I had a water camera. It was quite and very laid back which is what all of us needed.

Beautiful condo makes for an affordable but luxurious trip
The condo was much larger than expected.. We had rented all 3 bedrooms with 3 couples and had plenty of room. We were able to cook a lot In the condo and have sunset dinners on the enormous deck... The condo really has everything you need... In the kitchen, bug spray if you need it, Beach towels, etc. You cannot beat the location and the ammenities for the price!

Paraiso del Mar - Paradise!
Our stay at Paraiso del Mar was one of the best family vacations we've had. The condo and location was beautiful and far surpassed our expectations. We had fantastic views of the Sea of Cortez and the beach itself is very private, creating the feeling of having your own piece of paradise. The people we met were exceptionally friendly and the staff was wonderful. We had been provided with a great deal of information about La Paz and the condo itself before we arrived, which was incredibly helpful. We were even provided a cell phone to use during our stay. There were plenty of great activities nearby, golf, kayaking, fishing and our favorite, snorkeling with Sea Lions. We definitely plan to return and highly recommend Paraiso del Mar for your next vacation.

Condo was great!
First I want to say the owner Chelle Miller was great to rent from she made the process very easy. This condo is beautiful with great views of the pool, Sea of Cortez and beach. Its was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Loved the huge patio doors. We left them open even at night. The pool was nice but wasn't heated so a bit to cold to swim in but it was still nice to lay around it and soak up the sunshine. The food at the pool area was really good. We ate dinner there the first night of arrival. I had fish, I think yellow-tail and some kind of pasta and it was delicious. Lunches and margaritas were also very good as well as the service. La Paz is a very layed back city. It was nice not worrying about vendors and time share people. The sunsets where gorgeous. We felt very safe even wondering around at night. Thanks for the stay we would love to go back some time.

Fantastic! You must stay here!
We absolutely loved it here! The condo was amazing and so huge! Furnishings were really beautiful and up to date. The kitchen had all we could need and more. We loved eating breakfast on our balcony each morning and looking out on the incredible view. We so appreciated the little details...They left us a huge bottle of water, they gave us a Mexican cell phone with credit on it so that we could easily make our local calls. They had a print out with answers to all the questions we could ever think of. Penny, the caretaker, was so helpful and even helped my boyfriend plan a wonderful Valentine's experience for me (recommending a romantic restaurant and making a reservation for us) and had red roses waiting for me when we arrived at the condo.
We loved staying on the Mogote away from the main drag. It was so peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The water taxis is a very quick, free trip to the main drag.
The pool was sadly not heated during our stay, but we still loved laying by the pool during the day. Would love it if the kayaks had better paddles, but we were still able to use one to kayak around (my boyfriend just did most of the work, haha).
This place is such a great deal, being less expensive than a lot of the hotels there and a thousand times more beautiful and bigger. A place like this anywhere else would be triple the cost. And I think we had the best view in the whole condo complex. I couldn't recommend this place more! Thank you, Chelle!!

Beautiful Condo!!
We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The condo itself is absolutely gorgeous--huge bathrooms, beautiful kitchen, breathtaking views, large balcony, and beautiful bedrooms. I think it was the nicest place we ever rented on Vrbo. We rented the third bedroom unit as well and we had sooo much room for our family of 6. The condo pool, hot tub and bar were great! We saw dolphins right off the beach one morning and my boys swam right out to them. Amazing! La Paz itself was so much fun. The boardwalk area is a lot of fun, and there are plenty of grocery stores for supplies. It is so easy to take the ferry to and from the condo, and the staff are all so nice as well as the other condo residents and guests. We did the snorkeling with sea lions tour and it was a great experience. Thank you thank you for a wonderful time!

Truly Paradise
The owner Chelle and her property managers Jon and Penny are all a class act. They are very responsive to your needs and have great suggestions where to eat, etc. They lent us a local cell phone for the week which was really convenient. Please is very clean and comfortable. Food at the resort is an informal thing but probably the best food we had in La Paz. Getting to and from La Paz is via walk-on ferry that holds 30 so a little cumbersome but it's nice at night because you're on the peninsula and have the place to yourself. We parked our rental car at the marina in town so it was available any time. La Paz is a wonderful town, lots of things to do and no horde of time share salesmen and street vendors bugging you at every turn. Felt safe the whole time we were there. The beaches outside the condo are beautiful and uncrowded. Water is great for swimming and shell gathering. Definitely coming back! Thanks Chelle & crew!

This place really is paradise
Our holiday could not have been more divine. Everything, and I mean literally everything, worked out perfectly. The unit had everything we could have wanted and more. So comfortable. Clean. Tasteful and cozy decor, soft linens, great pots and knives, coffee pot, blender, all the little things that make being in a rented kitchen feel like you are at home. Awesome filtered water too! The view was the best in the whole place we are convinced. The weather could not have been better. After going into La Paz a few times (and enjoying its charm) we decided to stay put we liked it so much. Pablo and Sergio (pool dudes) definitely put on the best meal we had anywhere. They were great, made us feel welcome and very well cared for. One big excursion over to Tocolote beach and a boat tour over to the island was super (snorkled with the sea lions, yowza!) but otherwise we were not very ambitious. Sea water was warm, sand was soft, pool water was cool, hot tub was toasty and the Margarhitas were fresh. What more can you ask for? We definitely want to book again and again. To be continued.

Wonderful weeklong vacation
The pictures don't lie, that is the view! The condo is steps from a great pool, pool bar and reatuarant. The restaurant was a great option after a long day of activities. Go a little further and you're on a nice wide beach. The water was calm which made for great paddle boarding and kayaking. Tennis and golf are right on the island. Trips into town were easy with the water taxi. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Notre condo se trouve juste sur la plage et dans le premier ensemble de 5 bâtiments de condos au développement de nouvelles station incroyable de Paraiso del Mar. Le complexe se trouve sur une grande péninsule appelée « Mogote » qui est un court trajet en bateau 5 minutes de la Malecon et du centre-ville de La Paz. Le Resort est accessible en voiture, mais il est beaucoup plus facile et agréable de prendre le bateau-taxi de la station. La Paz est la capitale de la Basse-sud et est très sûr et une authentique ville mexicaine - pas une ville touristique comme le Cabo voisin.
