Best Villa In Mexico
If you want the best of the best choose Villa Verano!! We had the pleasure of booking with John and his team made our stay amazing. The attention to detail that was exhibited rivals and Four Seasons of Aman. Another special part of this villa was the Food and Butler service. This group of expertly trained individuals handled our many requests with a smile. Trust me if you want a very special vacation with friends and family this is the place for you. Thank you Villa Verano for making our Covid recovery vacation safe and special!! 5 stars all the way.

Exceeded all expectations. Friendliest professional staff, exceptional location, beautiful estate, compounds and grounds
Booked Villa Verano Christmas week for my extended family of 15 (ages 12-78). Leonor helped with advance planning (dinners in and out, yacht charter, guided tours, Christmas tree, Pinatas, massages, etc.). Jose, Freddy, Oscar, Eddy and Arturo greeted us with margaritas and the warmest of Puerta Vallarta greetings. They took exception care of my family for the whole week. Meals prepared by Alonso and Jorge rivaled any of the finest restaurants in PV. Will definitely be returning.

Beyond Great
Villa Verano not only exceeds all expectations, it sets a new standard. The staff not only attends to your every need but at times appears to anticipate your wishes. The chefs make every meal special but dinners allow their creativity to shine. The grounds are beautiful and the Villa is so comfortable you feel like you are visiting an old friends house.

Perfect in Every Way - Incredible Wedding
My Wife and I were married at Villa Verano and the adjacent Puerto Vallarta Beach Club (same ownership) in April 2014. We booked out the entire two properties for 4 nights. The experience was simply without peer. From the initial interactions with the owners and managers to arrange such an important occasion, in which they really showed an interest and personal stake in making sure we had an incredible time and that the financials of the booking would work for us, to the best staff I have ever encountered anywhere I have stayed around the world, Villa Verano is first class. The grounds are beautiful, covered in bougainvilla. The food was excellent, and the drinks were spot on. The staff was at our side before we knew we even needed anything from when we woke up until everyone finally went to sleep around 4 or 5 ever night... every night. I don't even understand how they maintained such professionalism. Special thanks to Jose the property manager for being tireless in making sure our experience was perfect. On the last day we received a call from the owners hoping that we had an amazing time. We really did. Our guests have not stopped talking about how perfect the week was. I recommend this property for a romantic getaway, or any special occasion without hesitation.

Paradise
I visited Villa Verano with a large group of friends and family to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. I know that I speak for our entire group when I say we all had a fantastic time!
The location is a short walk on the beach or road from the romantic neighborhood of PV, set on a hillside overlooking the water. The views from each room are each breathtaking. We all had a good time touring each other's rooms because they were all so unique! The Villa is set amongst a jungle which makes the entire stay relatively quite and serene with the sound of birds and other wild life mixed with the crashing of the waves. That being said, there were no bugs to speak of! Daily our rooms were cleaned - the entire, huge property was immaculate which is impressive not only for the size of the space, but also because of it's mostly open air setting.
We had a blast with each and every one of the staff - they all made us feel welcome, at home, and taken care of. Is it a job requirements to be amazing at making drinks? The piña coladas were out of this world! Seriously, we left with the recipe :)
We did leave the Villa to do many activities throughout our stay, but you could stay there the entire time and have a perfect vacation!

Many Good Things Here
We stayed at the Beachhouse at Villa Verano for 10 days in January 2014. The property is ideally located just above the beautiful beach and within walking distance of the "action". The service was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to be extremely attentive. We hired the private chef on several evenings and he did a good job.
Our daytime meals, both breakfast and lunch were part of the package and were uniformly good, although not served as hot as I like. I was a little disappointed in that the villa faced north and so the sunshine was limited but you can hardly fault the owner for that..
The gym was a disappointment, very small and not that clean when we arrived. About day 6 someone cleaned it up and put away the equipment that was scattered around.
All in all it is a good product, but it is 5 star Mexican, not 5 star North American. Could use a décor update to make it really sing.

Extraordinary Vacation Rental in Mexico
My partner and I brought 40+ family members and friends to stay at Villa Verano and its sister property Puerto Vallarta Beach Club. The occasion was partly a family reunion, partly getting our two families to get to know each other, and partly to have a commitment ceremony at the end of the week. Our time in PVR at these properties was absolutely magical. Villa Verano is a gorgeous villa with top notch facilities and amenities yet a very natural and rustic feel; it has 5 bedrooms in the main villa, 4 jungle type rooms, and 2 casitas. The PVBC villas (there are 3 of them; Villa Alegre, Villa Vista, and Villa Romantica) are more modern and absolutely beautiful and together the properties weave together amazingly and provide 22 bedrooms. The 22nd bedroom is the Beach House or honeymoon suite – a gorgeous one-bedroom, two story suite with oceanfront views and a beautiful oceanfront infinity splash pool.
The accommodations were absolutely beautiful, the views were spectacular, and the service was out of this world – beyond a 5 star level. The staff is amazing – professional, attentive, kind, and charming. They kept the place beautiful, cooked amazing meals 3 times a day, looked after individual needs of our very large party and yet had the time to make sure that the collective needs of the group were met. We have never encountered a staff, in many many years of world travel, as friendly, accommodating or professional as the staff at VV and PVBC. In addition to the 40+ people on the property, we had friends renting nearby villas and so we had an additional 15 to 30 people use the property and eat meals there during the course of the week. Despite the very large number of guests the staff had to serve, everything was superb. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious – with high quality Mexican cuisine, pastries, the best cinnamon toast I have ever tasted, eggs; the afternoon snacks were creative and tasty – great guacamole, Asian satays, quesadillas; and the dinners were absolutely wonderful – fresh sea bass and goat cheese salad, fajitas, delicious appetizers, to name a few. And for picky eaters, late risers, the staff was always happy to make something special later or accommodate to their needs!
At the end of the week, we did a henna ceremony and a roast by the VV pool area and the setting was beautiful; gorgeous, lush, foliage and beautiful views. And the next night, we had our commitment ceremony which was scheduled for the same area but major thunder and lightning necessitated a change of venue. Within 30 minutes, the staff (supplemented by a couple of people hired for the ceremony) expertly moved us to the VV living room area and we proceeded to have a beautiful ceremony there. These meals were spearheaded by a different Executive Chef (Laurena Cordero) who I believe is leaving PVR and they were incredibly well done (the taco bar (tacos el pastor) was just amazing!).
Overall the experience was incredible. The properties, whether rented individually (just VV or one of the PVBC Villas) or rented together will not disappoint and together, they create a charming, wonderfully weaved together property. The service, food, and amenities are great. VV is a 15 minute walk from the heart of the Romantic Zone and close to many restaurants though we rarely wanted to leave to go eat a meal outside.
If there are any areas to be wary of they are: 1) when renting the two properties together, they can be strenuous for those living in the PVBC villas because main meals and events will be in VV and getting from one to the other requires climbing some stairs (there is an elevator also but it still requires a bit of a walk) 2) the views in front of the property and to the south are absolutely gorgeous; those to the north (not really visible from most of VV but are visible form PVBC) are of Los Muertos Beach which is a bit more commercial and not as pretty (but again, most of PVBC has wonderful views).

Amazing Property, Staff and Experience!
Upon my first communication with Villa Verano I could tell I was dealing with a different level of service. To start, my emails and countless phone calls were addressed quickly and efficiently. The pre-planning and preparation for my arrival by the staff was addressed with the upmost care, promptness and without hesitation. I honestly felt no request was too small. Could this be for real? Yes, and read on to find out why I have so much to say about Villa Verano.
With my arrival expectations were high. Immediately I was warmly greeted by the Head Houseman and much of the staff. I was then given the option to a welcoming drink by the pool or to start off with a tour of the property. I opted for both and was amazed at the lush vegetation, pristine pool, and well maintained property – all of which, obviously, have never been neglected or unattended too. I can say, during the week I was there I never even found a scuff mark on a wall.
The numerous staff always greeted us personally and their eagerness to make sure we had what we needed made us wish we never had to leave. Included were our personal chefs to cook every meal to our specifications (dietary restrictions with some guests). Laundry was washed, ironed and promptly returned at the end of day. The housekeepers didn’t miss a spot. The pool side attendants were on hand to make any drink requested or notify the chef if we were ready for a snack. The concierge was always eager to schedule any events or spa treatments we needed that day or the next. Truly, the staff is well trained and enjoys providing the level of service that they do.
Villa Verano exceeded my expectations and those I traveled with. Dates have already been secured for our return!

Wow, wow and more wow!
From the moment our taxi drove through the gate, until the moment we left, the service at this resort was second to none. Always there when you needed it, yet never over imposing, Head Houseman Jose and the rest of the staff were impeccable. Within an hour, they knew the names of all of our group, and our likes and dislikes.
The food was always fresh, creative, tasty and there when you wanted it. Couldn't make it down to breakfast - no worries, the kitchen crew would create something special for you!
The location is fantastic, right at the end of Los Muertos beach, and a very short walk from old town.
All of the rooms were individually decorated, and very private. The only areas I would suggest for improvement are the quality of the bedding and pillows (bath towels were VERY sumptuous), and the quality of the wifi could be better.
If you have a group looking for a villa in PV, this property should be your first choice!
