Great condo in a great location!
Guillermo's place exceeded our expectations. Neat and clean with ample room and privacy for all. It is close to everything, but far enough away to be very quiet. The rooftop area with soaking pool was our favorite. We highly recommend this place for both adults and families!

What a great vacation, lets go again
The rental apartment was beyond my expectations, a truly 5 star rental and service. Stayed in the first and second floor unit (there is also a third and fourth floor unit with a large roof top balcony that is excellent for afternoon drinks and evening BBQs, etc.) which had two air conditioned bedrooms, laundry facilities, sun hats, beach towels, a shower on each floor (a must after a day of hot Mexican sun), a large filled water dispenser (with back up water bottles as needed), cold beer in the fridge, a coffee maker, and complete kitchen already stocked with many food basics left from previous rentals (oil, spices, flour, coffee, etc.). The owner was really helpful in not only having a helpful rental guide ready for our pre-travel reading (pointing out different restaurants, sites to visit, and local grocery shopping for indoor cooking) but even assisting us in navigating the difficult Mexican car rental system so that we could take advantage of the rental unit being within a few blocks of not only the main Playa del Carmen beach and entertainment area (full of delicious international and Mexican restaurants and roof top hotel pools that only costed a drink for admission as the sun went down) but also the only Mayan Riviera highway for quick access to other interesting sites and beaches such as Tullum and Akumal (where you can swim with turtles and enjoy Margaritas and local food on the side of a pristine beach) along the Mayan Riviera. Highly recommended, totally changed my view on vacationing in Mexico, would definitely rent here again, especially in the May to September summer low season when there are less tourists and the prices were cheaper and easier to bargain for.

Great place - outstanding value!!
Loved staying at Toltec House. The place came exactly as advertised and really makes it easy for travellers to get in and out. The rooftop terrace is especially nice. We enjoyed every second of our stay, and can't wait to go back. Great location too. Not too far from the main drag, but far enough away that you can't hear it!

Close to the fun, yet away from the chaos!
We arrived to an immaculate house, cold beer in the fridge and a quick friendly tour of the house. The owners and house manager made themselves easily available for any questions we had. This house is the perfect size for 2-4 guests and has the most comfortable beds and linens in all of Mexico! Not kidding! The house is the perfect distance from 5th Avenue in that it's not in the middle of all the chaos but only a ten minute walk away. It's an easy walk to the beach, market, ferry, tons of restaurants and shops. The house feels extremely safe and the neighbors were all very friendly. We were able to find anything we needed as far as kitchen gadgets, beach towels, etc. The decor is beautiful and tasteful. Each main room has a very efficient A/C which was important to us as we were there during the hot season. We would highly recommend this house as we very much enjoyed our stay!
