Margherita is one of the rooms that are part of Valle a Polvereto, an ancient 22-hectare farm estate nestled among the vineyards of Chianti. We are located in Montespertoli, between the hills of Siena and Florence, in a strategic position for exploring the magnificent surroundings such as Monteriggioni, Siena, Certaldo and Volterra. Iris is a room with private bathroom for 2 persons with A/C and TV. The room is located on the first floor, accessed from the reception via a beautiful 18th-century stone staircase. In the room you will find a king-size double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. As there is no breakfast service, we provide guests with a small self-service corner with hot drinks and a selection of packaged baked goods free of charge. Guests of course have access to the outdoor swimming pool, the dimensions of the pool are 7 x 14 m, depth from 1.20 to 2.10 m. The pool is at your disposal from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is open from 1 June to 30 September. The pool area and gardens are shared with other guests. We particularly care about respecting the privacy of all guests and take great care to maintain a quiet environment where you can relax in peace. For this reason, the minimum age to stay with us is 14 years, and we do not accept animals. Although we are in the open countryside, the first town is about 7 km away, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, where you can find shops, activities and village fairs in the summer months, a reference supermarket (Coop), laundry. The property cannot be reached by public transport. The private access road is about 600m of dirt road in good condition. The accommodation is part of an agritourism where there are other rental properties. The outdoor areas and the swimming pool are shared with the other guests. The maximum capacity of the Agriturismo is 24 persons. Extra costs: STAY TAX of 2€ per person per night up to 6 nights only for people over 14 years old. During the winter period heating costs 15€ per day and has to be paid directly at the Agriturismo. There is the possibility of a late check-in after 7pm at an additional cost of 50€.
