Award winning vineyards including the world famous ice wine of the historic Niagara Escarpment is less than an hour from our doorstep. Ideally your room is suited for two persons in the queen size bed but with the option of adding one or two cots for a maximum of four persons.. The bright room features a lounging couch, hardwood floors, large tv with Netflix & Prime, electric fireplace and bistro table. A private bathroom with shower/tub and double sink is next to your room. WIFI is available throughout our non-smoking home. Our property borders onto wooded parkland and is only steps away from forested nature trails and Lake Ontario. Guests can relax in our private garden. Experienced world traveller, hostess Kimberly Scutt, writes and produces a blog called traveladdictonabudget and children’s travel site, travellingrubberchicken. As an experienced cook, Kimberly offers varied menu choices including vegan. Sensitive to allergies (especially peanuts, tree nuts and gluten), with advance notice, Kimberly will customize your breakfast. For a reasonable cost, you can take advantage of the following services when booked in advance: -airport pick-up -the basic breakfast is included or for a little extra book the Upgraded Breakfast ($5 pp per day or $2.50 per child under 12). Upgrades can include bacon or sausages, home made crepes, gourmet scrambled eggs, healthy smoothies, smoked salmon, eggs benedict, maple syrup ++++) -Dinner (request menu) -Specialty Lattes -Boxed lunches -Use of washer and dryer -Backyard kid’s camping adventure -Hosted site for gatherings -Professionally catered afternoon high tea for up to 20 people (more if hosted in the garden) -Custom Toronto/Niagara area, shopping or southern Ontario university tours available upon request. All of the above options are value priced. Email your request for a quote. You will be pleasantly surprised. Your host family takes the cue from you for the ultimate Canadian vacation experience. Guest access: guests have access to a bathroom exclusively for their use, the deck, backyard and living room which is shared with the family. Interaction with guests: Mi casa es su casa. Kimberly greets guests upon arrival and usually shares breakfast with guests (however they can eat on their own if they choose) where she is always delighted to share her knowledge and insight on the local area. Perfect B&B, amazing experience!

We stayed at “Oakville Bed and Breakfast” for one week and had an amazing time. This charming B&B is located in beautiful neighborhood and the backyard is facing the park. Our room was very nice, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had great communication with the Kimberly (the owner) before arrival and throughout our whole stay. She was really quick in responding to all our questions and requests. Kimberly and John were very helpful and their hospitality was great! We really enjoyed our breakfast in the backyard patio! Kimberly makes delicious breakfasts!!! We felt like we were part of Kimberly’s family and our whole experience was fantastic! We will definitely stay there again and we highly recommend this B&B to anyone!

Excellent host and very accommodating

Kimberly (the host) was amazing! She was a pleasure to talk to and was extremely accommodating! She asked about allergies and dislikes for the included breakfast which is above and beyond what I expected. Kimberly genuinely cares about her guests and wants to make sure you have a great stay at her place. Would highly recommend this accommodation!
