Y Cartws' is a renovated outbuilding (formerly the cart-house and stables) on a sheep farm - Maesyfelin. The owners, Paul and Eirlys Williams and their family are the 7th generation of the family to have farmed here.
Situated just off the A478 Tenby to Cardigan road it is central to the three counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion with ample attractions to suit all the family.

One small dog allowed, must be kept on a lead when outside on the farm because we have sheep in the fields. We will at some point of the day have our own dogs outside, they are very friendly, but a little nervous of other dogs.

Wonderful !
Lovely friendly hosts and a beautiful welcome pack on arrival. Thank you especially for the gorgeous homemade fruitcake. We found the cottage to be quiet, cosy, homely and provided a perfect base for us to explore Pembrokeshire.
Our young son enjoyed every moment of his holiday, the highlight of which for him was spending time playing with Bess, Ben and Bella, the farm dogs. In fact we enjoyed our family holiday so much that we will be returning to Y Cartws for our fourth time next year. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

CAN'T WAIT TO STAY THERE AGAIN!
The way I can best describe our stay at Y Cartws is that we are planning on staying there again on our next trip. The location is perfect being right on the intersection of everything we wanted to visit. Aside from being a great place to stay while on vacation, it provides a vacation in and of itself. I would be perfect with children also as it is positioned on a farm with a view of the sheep from the windows above, you can enjoy the view without going onto the farm, or Paul & Eirlys will allow children to help feed the chickens, etc. if they like. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The conditions are very neat and clean, well maintained and comfortable. They have wifi, a tv and dvd player with a selection of dvds, books, refrigerator, microwave, oven, washing machine, etc. The beds and bedding are very comfortable with a queen or king sized bed in one room and two beds in the other room. There is a little reading or computer alcove also upstairs and the restroom with tub and shower. Downstairs is the living-room with a sofa and chairs and the kitchen and wash room. We had everything we needed and more (with the fresh milk and home-made specialty bread/cake waiting for us at our arrival). We had some mix-ups with our schedule and they went out of their way to accommodate our very late arrival. I can't say enough about Y Cartws. I noticed in their guest book that many of their guests were repeat visitors. We're looking forward to being two of them!

Perfect country stay
We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. Thanks for welcome cake... It was soo tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and location wide it was very well connected to many attractions.

Charming Stay in Idyllic Countryside
Y Cartws is a lovely stable/barn conversion cottage, situated in beautiful, serene countryside. The cottage is immaculate, very comfortable, and well appointed. There is plenty of space to relax in the large kitchen/diner, living room. The owners have provided lots of information about things to see and do in this gorgeous area of Wales. As we stayed during Christmas, the owners had decorated with some lights and a tree, which added to the charm of this cottage. Not far, at Efailwen, there is a small, convenient grocery & petrol/gas station. The owners are very good at communicating before your arrival, and a delight to meet in person.
