Eines der schönsten Quartiere, die wir in Mauritius je hatten
Tolles Appartement in ruhiger Lage. Trotzdem sind gute Restaurants in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Zu zweit haben wir nur die obere Etage genutzt. Diese ist sehr geräumig hell. Sehr geschmackvolle und moderne Einrichtung. Selbst bei meiner Größe ist das Bett sehr bequem. Auch die Küche ist super ausgestattet, es gibt wirklich alles, was man braucht.
Ein Highlight ist natürlich die große Terrasse mit einzigartiger Aussicht aufs Meer und auf die Insel Benitiers.
Denis und Geraldine sind sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber.
Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wonderful escape from it all
If you want an authentic Mauritius experience, to get away from it all, consider staying at 21LG Le Morne View in La Gaulette. Geraldine is a wonderful, helpful and informative hostess who made our stay an unforgettable experience. We rented the spacious top flat (2 bathrooms and an air-conditioned bedroom) with an airy terrace and a great sea view as well as access to the pool.
La Gaulette village is quite small, yet still offer all the necessary amenities in the local shopping center. Le Morne has probably the best beach in Mauritius and as it is such a small island, numerous attractions are only a short distance away such as the Seven Coloured Earth, Chamarel waterfall and Black River.
You do need a car in Mauritius, although Geraldine has an arrangement with a local, reliable taxi firm that can cater for you transport needs – even pick you up from the airport.
Highly recommended and definitely worth considering a return visit.

The perfect stay for an individual exploration of the island
The accomodation is located in a quite village just a few minutes away from Le Morne Brabant.
You have a spectacular view over the sea, the small isle aux Benetiere and even from the bathroom you can watch the sunset next to Le Morne Brabant.
Geraldine is a very attentive and friendly host, who has always great tips for exploring the island.
The loft is very clean, spacious and has a very nice and modern style.
Some family owned restaurantes are just a few minutes away.
If you like a tranquile and perfect place as a basis for your vacation, this place is the best you can find on the island!
We just love this place!

Perfect appartment for exploring Mauritius
The appartment is spacious and well equipped compared to other appartments we´ve visited. We actually ended up cooking most days during our stay instead of going out. The appartment has a terrific view, so spending time at the terrace is just so nice! The pool is small but nice to have acces to, when you travel with children. The location close to Le Morne mountain and the kitesurfing beaches was absolutely perfect for us - a family of four (children 13 and 17) who all kitesurf. We had only a tiny problem during our stay. Heavy rain and dripping from the ceiling one day. But it was fixed immediately by our host.

Tolle Ferienwohnng in La Gaulette/Mauritius
Wir waren eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung und hatte eine tolle Zeit mit der ganzen Familie (Kinder 5 und 2 Jahre alt).
Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der grosse Balkon besticht durch einen tollen Meerblick. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt in der näheren Umgebung und auch ein paar Restaurants wenn man nicht selber kochen möchte.
Zum Strand nach Le Morne sind es nur fünf Minuten mit dem Auto, sicher einer der besten Strände der Insel.
Geraldine ist eine tolle, sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin!
Wir können das Appartement uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Geraldine ist sehr nett und es ist ihr sehr wichtig, dass man sich in Ihrem Appartment wohl fühlt. Und das tut man. Die Wohnung ist großzügig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Der große Balkon mit der komplett zu öffnenden Fensterfront ist das absolute Highlight und die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in Geraldines Appartment einziehen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Great place to stay!
We loved our stay in Mauritius at Geraldine’s place. The apartment was very comfortable for the two of us and our baby. Geraldine put a crib in the second bedroom for us so our daughter could go to sleep while we sat out on the patio with a glass of wine looking over the ocean and Le Morne. We found the property to be very conveniently located as it was a short drive to the National Park for a hike and down to a few different beaches. This property is not in the resort part of the island, which I felt gave it a ton of charm and gave me the chance to see more of the island.
I would certainly recommend that you stay here if you are looking for a large, comfortable, and quiet place to relax for your trip to Mauritius. Also, Geraldine was a wonderful host and will surely take great care of you.

Splendida vacanza
L'appartamento Le Morne View è un bel loft spazioso con 2 camere e 2 bagni e con una bellissima terrazza panoramica .Geraldine è sempre disponibile e gentile.La posizione è ideale per visitare le più belle località dell'isola .La spiaggia di Le Morne,la più bella e tranquilla della costa ovest,è a solo 1km.

Bel appartamento su 2 livelli. Al piano terra camera da letto piccola senza armadio, ma con aria condizionata ed un bagno. Al piano superiore cucina e sala open space, più un letto matrimoniale, ampio balcone con vista su Le Morne, un bagno, ma ha una grossa mancanza, niente aria condizionata ed è molto calda. Posizione perfetta per visitare Le Morne, proprietari molto gentili, ma casa un bel po’ sporca all’arrivo

I am sorry you have a mix feeling about your holiday in Mauritius, Thank you for your 5-star rating on Airbnb for my apartment. and qualities as a host. I really enjoyed welcoming you and your friends and hope next time you come, you'll appreciate better the authenticity of the region. Indeed, we are lucky to be in a still preserved area of the island, we are surrounded by nature and local fauna that we have to share habitat with; it comes with mosquitos, ants, and other harmless little bugs. We aim to keep them out-door, but in such an open airy place, it is inescapable that they try to make their way in. Don't worry, there is nothing nasty.
