We loved the place. It’s houses are beautifully built into the vegetation, you can hardly see them arriving with a boat. The atmosphere at this great hideaway is super calm and easy going, it feels hard to believe, that the intensity of Labuan Bajo town is just 15 minutes away. You can choose between beautiful rooms in a tree-house style wooden guest house or the luxurious beach house. We looked at all the rooms and they are all gorgeous and stylish. The tree house rooms offer a communal area where its nice to hang out and cook with other guests or eat together on a long wooden table. The beach house is more like a romantic, spacious loft for a couple or a family with a fully equipped kitchen and a huge terrace right at the beach. There are two good restaurants just next door down the beach if you don’t feel like cooking. Host Nina is an environmental activist and has lots other topics on her plate that she is engaged with. She has given her former company to her employees and now fights for the good of her neighborhood and the whole of Flores and Indonesia. She knows a lot about the area and its people and the development in Labuan Bajo and the Komodo National Park. It was a pleasure to have her around and going for dinner together. She helped us with everything, let us use snorkeling gear and kayaks to explore the beautiful house reef and generously upgraded us to the beach house. Thank you again, Nina!! We can’t think of a better starting point to explore the breathtaking Komodo National Park and especially its unique under water live (20 Manta Rays on one dive!). And also don’t miss to explore Flores’ country site wich begins right after Lebuan Bajo and meet with the friendly Flores people and take a bath in their smiles.

Fabulous booking & communication with host Nina including organising driver to collect us from Bajawa. Met at Labuan Bajo's small boat harbour for 20-30 minute boat to the bungalow which is on the main Flores island north of LB but not really accessible by road, much closer to LB than most of the nearby small island accommodations, no shops but 3 restaurants with walking distance ( we preferred Atlantis On The Rock with excellent English speaking staff, full bar & excellent free wifi - see separate TripAdvisor review). So bring your own tea, coffee, breakfast provisions, beer, gin, limes & tonic etc if you like. Roxy's Supermarket at the small boat harbour sells branded beer & spirits, & there is nearby ATM & fruit & vegetable market. The 2 year old purpose built bungalow, 20m from the sea, is very well equipped, and Nina kindly made available a low volume wifi hotspot device - a coffee plunger is the only addition I would seek. Nina is an excellent host, and organised a magnificent but fairly priced Komodo National Park day trip to Rinca Island, including loan of snorkelling gear, directly from & to our bungalow! And the best fabulous snorkelling was the last stop, Angel Island, only 20 minutes from our return to Pazolle'e, you can see it from Pazolle'e. When I return, I would arrange snorkelling & lunch at Angel Island or similar nearby location. So I highly recommend Pazolle'e Beachside Bungalow, named after the boat, for 1-2 persons. The nearby big house sleeps 10 in 5 excellent ensuite rooms and is equally well appointed. The roosters can be early & noisy - bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. And the beautiful open air shower will need a little more cement to eliminate a low spot. Nina tells me she may move her lusting from FlipKey to Airbnb, so perhaps more easily found / booked through Airbnb or Facebook.

Perfect spot with perfect views. Ninas place is fantastic, so much time has been put into a lovely property - set amongst a small but gorgeous set of houses. We loved the bungalow. It had all the basics and the veranda with view is spot on. Great support and help from the men working on site (who were also really quiet). Far enough away from the town to avoid noise and bustle, but 10 min boat trip back in. Almost no other way out apart from up steep path through the hotel nearby (also small and quiet). At high tide you need to swim to second hotel further down the beach! Easy to get over to national park as well. Also very good snorkelling on surrounding small islands. t's a memory we'll treasure. Not for anyone who wants to be 'in the action', or mod cons, but it never promised that!

Solo soggiornando qui si può davvero dire di conoscere e vivere una parte di paradiso. Ci si arriva in barca, e poi su una zattera, ma nulla impedisce di rimanere in contatto con la terra ferma...a disposizioni degli ospiti una barca locale per i trasporti usabile fino alle 9 di sera.. La struttura è di ottimo gusto, design minimalista e confort europeo di alto livello, ma senza esibizionismo, perfettamente inserita in un contesto naturale che rasenta la perfezione. Serenità e libertà: finalmente! Fondali ricchi di corallo, possibilità di organizzare gite in altre isole, turismo inesistente. La struttura consente anche una più ampia ospitalità, per un gruppo di amici o per delle sessioni di yoga. La colazione non è compresa. L'uso della cucina in modo indipendente permette anche la massima libertà alimentare per pranzo o cena. Il tempo felice trascorre sempre veloce, in questo luogo avremmo dovuto fermarci molto di più, forse farlo diventare quello nel quale più stare. Unico neo la cattiva ricezione, talvolta inesistente con il wi fi che é comunque a pagamento. Consiglio di munirsi in anticipo di una scheda telefonica locale, il prezzo è come tutto il resto contenutissimo..
