Our apologies for the delay in the reply but we have had to gather the facts from the Housekeeping Team. The Team have defended their position with regard to the cleanliness of the apartment. The only correct point they feel has been made is there was some food left in the freezer which was overlooked. With regard to the condition of the apartment overall if you felt it was not clean, under your Booker's Terms & Conditions you have 24 hours from arrival to contact us to say so or, to raise any other issue if you deemed it not correct. Why didn't you contact the Housekeeper or ourselves to make the complaint in this first instance?
Clearly, something could have been done to rectify anything that was wrong but they were not given the opportunity to do so, so quite rightly they have defended their position. However, the owner of the housekeeping company has now personally taken charge of this property so hopefully we will not receive a similar review in the future, that in our opinion is subjective.
