Relaxing peaceful place

The apartment had everything for a stay The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped It has a parking space and all the shops restaurants are within walking distance It has brilliant walks from the apartment a very relaxing place

A disapointment

We first visited 5 years ago and enjoyed our time at Sea Glass, however, this time it was a different story. Our first impression of the flat was that everything was as it was 5 years ago. The flat could have been cleaner it was only surface clean, it appeared to us that the cleaners wiped only what they could see. There were many factors too many for this review including mould around the bath and grease on the tiles around the cooker which are not acceptable. We could not understand how the drier worked despite reading the instructions. We did phone Lewys Logan owner of All in One Services (who is also the Mayor) he was totally unhelpful and found the experience really funny, we asked him to stop laughing and his response "I am not dealing with you anymore" and he put the phone down. Next, when we arrived there was a water leak on the kitchen tap which the owners knew about but had done nothing. This got worse and the tap came off in our hands with water everywhere. We wasted a planned morning of our holiday getting this sorted out. Our overall opinion of this flat is we are very disappointed.

I am sorry about your experience with our cleaning service which we have since changed. You phoned us when you couldn’t figure out how to use the tv and we managed to talk you through it.You then phoned because you could not figure out the tumble dryer despite having an instruction book and we were unable to talk you through it but we got a handyman in at our expense on an emergency call-out to show you how to work this. Then you had trouble with the tap but unfortunately we were unable to get a plumber as they are booked out, but we again called on the handyman who drove an hours round trip to buy a tap and then fit it, he was happy for you to go on your planned day out but you chose to stay. All our reviews on trip advisor and our other site and in our book in the apartment state how clean and tidy it is on arrival . So you had a really unfortunate experience. I am sorry you were so disappointed that you only remember the negatives of your holiday.

Lovely place to stay

Immaculate little flat with everything you would need. Extremely clean and well looked after. Really central location, just a short walk from lots of cute little shops, cafes and restaurants. Both Lynton and Lynmouth are lovely to explore as well as lots of lovely walks with beautiful scenery. Very helpful host and would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay

We had a wonderful week at Sea glass, the apartment had everything you could need for a week away, with lots of extra thoughtful things you might need. Great location so close to the shops and the beautiful walk to the valley of the rocks. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic stay at Sea Glass!

We had a wonderful week staying at Sea Glass at the beautiful Lynton. Thank you so much for such a comfortable, clean and really well equipped apartment. We had everything we needed and it was a fantastic base to explore Lynton and Lynmouth. So many lovely places to visit and explore with some great walks. We enjoyed The Valley of the Rocks, a lovely walk to Watersmeet and many more lovely days. We cannot wait to return and will definitely stay at Sea Glass again. Thanks again.

Battery Recharge

Lovely 3 three day break in a spotless and well appointed apartment. Ideally situated in Lynton. Both myself and my wife could not fault it.

Cosy, perfectly equipped flat in a charming Devon village location

Sea Glass is a modern, very cosy, two-bedroom apartment situated in the centre of the quaint, attractive Devon village of Lynton. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and exceptionally well equipped -- the kitchen was one of the best we've ever found in a holiday let, with absolutely everything needed and all in perfect condition. The flat also has a superb large TV with Freeview Play, plus wireless broadband which functioned flawlessly throughout our stay. The surrounding area is lovely and quiet, with all amenities close at hand; Lynton's shops, cafes, restaurants and the famous cliff railway down to Lynmouth are all just a few minutes walk away. The spectacular Valley of the Rocks can also be reached along the coastal path in only about half an hour. A great base for a relaxing holiday.

Home from home

Well equipped apartment in a perfect position for walking , shops and restaurants in Lynton. We spent a week there and enjoyed many evenings in the spacious apartment. Definitely a home from home.

A fantastic apartment clean and well equipped

This lovely apartment is clean, well equipped and spacious enough for four adults. The location is close to everything you need for a trip to this area of Devon, including shops, restaurants and pubs, and many of the delightful walks in the area. The instructions for arrival were clear and easy to follow and the apartment was spotless. It was very obvious that much time and effort had been put into making it Covid secure and the owner had left plenty of hand sanitiser and masks for us to use if we hadn't brought our own. As with most holidays the small things are always appreciated and in this case this comes in the form of information about local walks, places to visit and restaurants to use. The apartment is fully stocked with anything that you could need including a very well equipped kitchen, with cling film, foil, condiments etc.....etc... The apartment is easy to find, has an allocated parking bay, with quite a bit of parking in the street nearby. There are three small flights of stairs to the front door, but these are not steep and easily manageable compared to some of the walks in the surrounding area. In summary, us four adults had a fantastic time in this area of Devon and would highly recommend this clean and well equipped apartment as a great base to stay. On a last note, the owner has obviously thought carefully about the bedding, as we all slept peacefully on the beds and I think the memory foam pillows are a very nice touch. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property
