Wonderful cottage, wonderful location. T
We needed a location for our family for a golden wedding anniversary and were lucky enough to find and book Craigmore. It is superbly comfortable and very well equipped. To add to that it's location right in the centre of Bourton on the Water just 20 yards from the river made it perfect.
Our two grandchildren (2&5years) enjoyed the size of the cottage giving them plenty to explore
. The cot and stairgate were all provided
Definitely would recommend the cottage without reservation.

Chocolate Box cottage
Just back from a week’s holiday in this beautiful cottage which has all you would need for a comfortable relaxing stay. Sits in a very peaceful location but right next to all that’s available in Bourton on the Water. Lots of pretty shops & lots of lovely eating places. Just next to River Windrush it’s ideally situated to visit the Cotswolds area. The Cotswold Wildlife Park is a must. Would highly recommend & will definitely stay there again when visiting the area. George, the owner is more than helpful. Only one small thing, fans would be handy in bedrooms in hot weather.
Would highly recommend.

Winner !!
Booked this fab cottage for a group of 8 who were attending Cheltenham races for the weekend. A complete gem everything you could want amazingly clean, kitchen equipped with really good quality kit. It has an excellent mix of traditional cottage charm and modern facilities. The river runs at the end of the road and it’s a 2 minute stroll to the centre of Bourton. The owner was very professional in booking info and really knows how to deliver a quality experience. Would definitely book this cottage again.

Wonderful stay - highly recommended
We loved this wonderful home located in the heart of a charming neighborhood in the Cotswolds. We found the home is set up beautifully, with more than enough space for our group to have personal space when we need it, and yet cozy enough to enjoy time together. Amenities were great and the kitchen was stocked with all the basics and more. A parking spot was available for us throughout the stay. The location is a few steps away from the center of the village/town which has plenty of cafes and shops. and there are several beautiful trails that connect you to nearby towns. George was super responsive and our group felt really taken care of. We would totally come back again and recommend to all.

Cottage heaven
If you looking for a cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water
Look no further.
This cottage is beautifully renovated and extremely well equipped.
Considering it is only 30 seconds walk to the river the peace and quiet is amazing, even on Sunday with all the day trippers.
With regard to the bed size I can definitely say the master bed was English king size and the Tempur mattress was so comfortable we are going to buy one !
George was really helpful before our arrival and even though we didn’t need him he checked up to see all was ok by email.
We were 6 adults and 2 children and had a loads of room and a great 50th birthday party for my wife .
We will definitely go back , thank you George !!

Stunning Cotswolds cottage
We rented this cottage for a long weekend stay in May. The owner was prompt to reply to our enquiry and made our booking very easy. He also sent us very helpful easy to follow instructions on how to find the house and a useful list of places to visit while staying. The cottage itself has just been refurbished to a superior degree with a modern brand new Kitchen, and Bathrooms, and lovingly restored original floors, exposed beams, brickwork and other period features. Everything was also super clean and beautifully Interior designed to the highest standard. George, the owner, was also available by phone for any queries we had while we were there. The location of the house was a five minute walk from the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, which has a bird sanctuary, maze, car museum and lots of pretty shops, restaurants and cafes. Bourton itself, is located in the centre of the Cotswolds and is just a short drive to many other gorgeous villages, and places of interest, making the cottage a great place to be based if you want to explore the area in general. The house was perfect for a family or small group, and very child friendly. There were wide screen TV’s with Netflix, WIFI connection and even board games to play. There was also a big garden, outdoor dining table and chairs and a driveway that fit at least three cars. Set in a quiet lane, near a bubbling stream, this cottage really was exactly what we hoped a country escape would be. I cannot rate it highly enough, and we are looking forward to returning as soon as possible!

Great cottage in super location
Wonderful place to stay close to village only a very short walk away. Excellent facilities and extremely well presented. Only criticism would be the size and comfort of the double beds - they are certainly not king size. Owner George was very helpful with instructions about heating controls and wifi.

Hope you had a safe trip back to Australia!
Thank you for choosing Craigmoor Cottage and I was delighted to read that you thought that we offered "excellent facilities and that the property is extremely well presented”.
Nevertheless, I appreciate you gave us 4 stars, a good review but not an excellent one on the back of the description of the king size beds. You mentioned that the beds were definitely not King size beds and I know I bought king size beds as I described them. I therefore had the opportunity to investigate this and see why you felt that this case.
To clarify the master bedroom mattress is a tempur mattress with a tempur topper and a tempur base, the other, if I recall well, is king size mattress, bed and headboard is from Peter Jones, this is a luxury king size bed and base. Honestly both excellent beds.
I therefore looked in to size further and I noticed that the reason why you felt that this was definitely not a king size bed is that in Australia the width of a King bed is 183 cm in the UK our king size beds have a width of only one 150 cm. Therefore a super king size bed in the UK would have width of 180 cm and it would be similar to the Austrian King size bed that has a width of 183 cm.

Perfect escape for a special celebration!
Have just spent a lovely long weekend at the beautiful Craigmoor Cottage, celebrating my 50th birthday, and it really did exceed all my expectations.
Craigmoor is located on a very quiet road, just moments away from the river and main street. The Cottage has absolutely everything you’d need in a home away from home, we all felt so comfortable from the minute we arrived.
Every room is beautifully decorated to a very high spec and so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and was a great social space for first thing in the morning. The living and dining room is a massive space with a really big and comfortable sofa and a great dining table we used for a pamper night and to play games.
The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable – we all agreed that the beds were probably some of the most comfortable we’d ever slept on! The bathrooms are all very luxurious with lots of lovely finishing touches including designer smellies.
George is a brilliant host. His communication before, during and after our stay has been great. He is very attentive and informative and responded to any queries and questions we had promptly.
I can’t recommend Craigmoor Cottage highly enough, and would love to visit again some day. Thank you George.

Must visit!
Beautiful cottage set in the middle of Bourton on the water.....ideal for visiting all of the attractions of the village and surrounding area. Cottage has a luxury feel and was a great escape. The owner was very helpful and readily available if necessary.
All in all, would highly recommend.
