Annie’s cottage
What a fabulous retreat! Stunning views and complete quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed this cosy and well equipped cottage with its stunning views over the glen. Quiet and secluded but perfectly located for the beautiful North Antrim coast (only 5 miles away). I was able to comfortably visit all the major sites. Great support from Roisin and Charlotte. Highly recommended.

Cosy cottage with spectacular views
Our holiday here was absolute bliss! The cottage has a cute half-door and amazing views from every window. We went for frequent walks up the road to see the cows and sheep. There were housemartins nesting in the gable ends of the house and the mum and dad were busy feeding their chicks.
Thank you to Roisin and Charlotte for your hospitality and for quickly solving the problem with the cooker (there is a lovely new hotpoint cooker now!) The Armada in Armoy has a lovely restaurant and they also do takeaway food if you don't want to cook. There is also a great Chippy called The Tuck Inn.
The cottage is in a beautiful setting, but it is also close to Breen nature reserve, Ballypatrick Forest, The Dark Hedges, White Park Bay, Ballintoy Harbour, and Ballycastle. You could also take a day trip to Rathlin island or go across the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge (if you are brave enough!)

No words are enough to describe this place. It is simply out of this world!
My wife searched many cottages online but Annie's cottage stole her heart right from the start. It was love at first sight and I felt exactly the same way. We enjoy coming in December to experience the lovely cold weather and most importantly, the cozy nights by the open fire. I have to say, when we arrived and saw it for real, it more than delivered what it had promised online. Not only was the cottage and its setting so surreal, the incredibly warm greeting from the owner Roisin made the whole experience even more special. I have already reviewed this cottage before but unfortunately, we couldn't make it this year and I'm having one of those terribly sentimental moments reminiscing about our stay and wondering when our next opportunity to come back again will arise. We will never ever consider searching for other places to stay. All I can say is that the experience speaks volumes.
Oh and by the way, my wife has the picture of the cottage as her screen saver!!!!

Annie's cottage
Well what can I say. Simple perfect..amazing cottage. Very clean and tidy. Everything you need to relax. Surrounded by peace and quiet and countryside which is picture perfect. Enjoyed our stay enormously!!

A true "get away"!
This great place is only minutes from Bushmills and the Giant's Causeway. Located in the beautiful country side where you can see the stars, watch the wildlife, and enjoy the privacy. If we ever get a chance to return to Ireland, this will be a place we will book again. Thank you to Connie for meeting us and starting the fire in the fireplace.

Thanks so much to Greg Eiler for such a positive review. Charlotte (newly christened "Connie" by Mr Eiler!!) my manager , strives to make the guests welcome and comfortable. we have been here a couple of times & plan to come back in 2017, the cottage is stunning in all aspects, Charlotte was a delight & nothing was an effort for her, the open fire is awesome at night with a glass of wine, the usual attractions are a must but the dark hedges are an awesome site & only a few miles away. Also the lammas fair in ballycastle in August is a MUST for a true Irish experience

Our little home away from home
Annies Cottage is cosy and comfortable and is in an excellent location for all the Causeway Costal Route attractions. It is in a beautiful rural location which feels peaceful and remote, although Ballycastle is only 20 minutes drive away. A big thank you to Charlotte who had the open fire going, the kettle boiling and had left us some milk and tea and coffee when we arrived, which we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend this lovely little cottage as a great place to stay while exploring the stunning Antrim Coast.

excellent base to explore Northern Ireland
cosy holiday home in an isolated area. Means: quietness in a very peaceful place. Good for reaching most interesting destinations in Northern Ireland. The cottage is fully equipped, with enough space for a couple with child. Heaters have been on, when we came what is important in September evenings. Friendly hosts.

Christmas in cottage
Very nice cottage, fireplace keeper smoking and mold smell bedroom, and wash stopped working after two loads. But other then that it was great. Beautiful location and not to far from anything. Thanks for a great holiday.

Thank you for your review . I'm glad you liked the cottage. You brought to my attention a few issues which no other guest has mentioned in the other reviews which have all been very positive. All of the property owners in our spectacular location on a mountainside find that they have to open a window very slightly when the fire is first lit to help the draught. All is fine after a few minutes when the fire reddens. As you, the reviewer, live in a warm country, I wouldn't expect you to understand the idiosyncrasies of open fires! The condensation sometimes caused by the central heating which is on a time switch throughout the winter might have caused some mildew spots in a corner but I must say that I have never detected a mouldy smell in either bedroom. Our northern climate does pose challenges in the winter when the cottage is not always occupied. The manager has checked the washing machine which was new last year and she cannot find any problem, so that is puzzling. I hope you enjoyed your trip despite the ups and downs of a stay in a cold country in the depths of winter.

Just back from a fantastic stay at Annie's Cottage. The house itself was perfectly equipped and excellent for our toddler to run outside safely. Comfortable rooms and very cosy, very much a home from home experience. Perfect for exploring Ballycastle and then further to the causeway coastal route. We really enjoyed our stay as a family.
