Location, location, location
From the double gates on West Port, you only had 2 flights to climb to number 521, yet you were on the top floor. Being at the end of the corridor meant that it was very quiet, didn't hear the neighbours once.
Turn right out of the gates and there is a good sized Sainsburys. Turn left and you head towards Grassmarket with it's selection of bars and restaurants, and quirky shops.
The flat, itself, is cosy - the heaters were well used during our stay brrrrrrr. They kick out some heat. The bed is large and comfy, and room has ample storage.Our only grumble was that the shower was very small and lacked power. Still deserves 5 stars

Lovely apartment
Just back from a lovely relaxing few days, apartment has everything you need, nice central location & Lynn is lovely we were able to drop off our bags early so we could start our holiday straight away.

Location was perfect, close to everything we needed. Flat very well equipped with everything you might need. Greeted by Lynn upon arrival, we were a tad early but this was not a problem.

Lovely flat and wonderful owner!
We felt so at home in this conveniently located flat; just steps away from the restaurants and shops in Grassmarket and the local Sainsburys. The flat was so comfortable and nicely equipped with all of the essentials and a library of guidebooks. Lynne provided such a warm welcome and went "above and beyond" to make our stay so perfect. She is a jewel!

Centrally located in Edinburgh
The very comfortable flat is extremely well located being in walking distance to the castle and the city. It is very well appointed and has been renovated. Lynn is a good host with lots of information about edinburgh. All in all it is a great place to stay.

Great location for a one bedroom apartment
The location is central to Old Town in Edinburgh. The view of the castle is quite dramatic! The apartment was clean and has many amenities for travelers with a washer dryer, and a variety of information about the city. It is on two city tour bus routes plus there were several local coffee shops and cafes within easy walking distance. Lynne, the owner, was very helpful and flexible with our check-in time.

Our Second Delightful Stay
Perfectly located with steps to everywhere. The flat was as we remembered it, spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need in easy to find spots. We again took Rowan's advice to visit Mary's Milk Bar for the Dark Chocolate ice cream. Just do it!
Look forward to visiting again.

Convenient and cosy place to stay
Lovely flat in a very central location.
Very cosy and clean and although small was well equipped and had evertyhting needed for a comfortable stay.
Good communication with hostess.
Would certainly stay again on another trip to Edinburgh.
