We stayed at Keiss harbour House for a week in the October holidays. When we arrived, would couldn't believe how beautiful and spacious the house was, it's just amazing.... we didn't want to leave!! It is situated right on the harbour and the view you get from all the windows in the house are fantastic!! The house was lovely and warm with the underfloor heating, and there are 3 coal fires..... 2 on either end of the living/dining room which was so cosy on a winter's evening. The host Jill was very kind and supplied coal and logs for the fires. It was nice and clean, and had everything you could need and lots of thoughtful touches, Jill has thought of everything. She was always quick to answer and questions we had!! The kitchen was very well equipped, and had everything you could ever need!! We absolutely loved the spacious living/dining room, the sofas were sooo comfy for relaxing and the dining table was absolutely massive!! Lots of lamps, which was lovely in the evening and Jill even supplied some tea candles for the fire mantle pieces and dining table. We spent lots of time relaxing, reading books by the fire, and chilling out watching movies with our children. The showers were nice and powerful and the steam room was a lovely touch, after a busy day sightseeing and beautiful beach walks. The lights in the hallway down stairs deserve a mention, they were so modern and bright and it looked light stars on the walls..... Just beautiful!! We really enjoyed waking up in the morning and walking onto the small balcony from the bedroom, admiring the gorgeous views with our morning coffee!! The house has a small utility room with machine machine and tumble dryer, which is so handy for catching up on washing. To sum up, we had an amazing time and have already planned our next trip back to this beautiful house!! Thank you so much Jill for you wonderful hospitality!!

We have stayed here several years in a row now and have already booked for next year. The house is warm, comfortable, well equipped, well located, lots of space for large groups, just perfect. Even if the weather is not the best, you will enjoy just sitting with a book in this wonderful place. And look around the house at the unusual books and artefacts. I find something I hadn't noticed before every time. Jill is lovely, very helpful and accommodating.

After 3 months of lockdown, this was our therapy. 9 of us descended on keiss house and we enjoyed every moment of it. Barbecues and swimming in the harbour. Peace perfect peace. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and please take a wander up to the Sinclair hotel, great food and fabulous owner and locals. We will be back x

We have stayed in this house 4 years in a row and have already booked it for September 2020. It is kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Is comfortable and cosy. If the weather isn't very kind, I can't think of a nicer way to spend it than in this lovely house with friends. The owner is very helpful and accomodating. Highly recommend this place.

Had a brilliant family weekend here with adults, children, baby and dog and all had an excellent time. Plenty room for us all and best equipped place we've ever been. Views over the harbour were amazing and walked up to the hotel and all of us were welcomed, even the dog! Jill was very helpful and quick to reply to emails.

We stayed from Friday to Friday and had an absolutely brilliant time the house is perfect great if you want to walk or even better if you want to chill and stare out the window on out first morning we saw a otter in the harbour which was amazing and the 8 mike walk from the house to the lighthouse is amazing just remember wellies as there is some unavoidable water to cross we fell in love with the house and area and Seaview hotel in John o’Groats is definitely worth a visit

Lots of room for the 10 of us. Beautiful views from every window, lots of lovely walks with the dog and a very well equipped house.

Stayed here with the dive club as had a long weekend boat diving in Wick, The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of room for the 9 of us and the dog. It will accommodate 12 easily and everyone had space for all our kit and all of our food. The beds were comfy and lovely clean towels provided. The under floor heating was great, but given it was Sep/Oct when we stayed we turned it all down as the weather was warm and sunny. If it had been bad weather the log fires and wood burners throughout the upper floors would have been more than adequate to keeps nice a cosy. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets, with a great steam room to relax in the evening and even a table tennis table to keep you entertained at night. Everyone in the club agreed that this was one of the best places we had stayed in when away diving with the club and all of us would come back again. Thanks to the owners, who are unfortunately selling the place, but we hope the new owners continue this as a self catering let.

Nous avons profité de cette grande maison, confortable et très bien agencée pour nous retrouver à douze. Adultes et enfants, tous ont profité au maximum du confort de cette belle maison. Le couchage, les sanitaires (avec sauna) tout était exactement comme décrit sur l'annonce. Cette maison est à recommander pour les réunions de famille dans cette belle région sauvage d'Ecosse.
