❤️ The Bothy
This is our fifth visit to The Bothy and it's safe to say it won't be our last. As always Fiona always make you feel welcome and the Bothy itself is a home from home. It such a lovely welcoming hug and a great place to get away from the hassle and bustle of the real world. I can truly say that it's my off switch.

Total Peace and Quiet
What a wonderful spot. We had not visited this part of Scotland before and The Bothy gave us an ideal base for exploring the area. We can recommend visits to Fort George, Urquhart Castle, the Coastal Trail, Glen Moray distillery, and every coastal village you can find. We had a lovely meal at Catch 79 in Lossiemouth - if you like seafood then do visit.
The cottage itself was very comfortable with every need catered to and Fiona was the perfect host, ensuring we were well informed - including weather and electricity alerts.
If you are looking for peace and quiet In beautiful surroundings then this is the cottage for you.

Relax and Unwind
This is our third visit and as always we can't praise The Bothy enough. It so peaceful and relaxing, it's the perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle behind and just take time to enjoy some quiet time and read a good book. We will be back as it's such a special place and Fiona is such a lovely person and will make sure you have everything you need without intruding on your privacy ❤️

Lovely place to relax
The Bothy is a lovely wee place to relax and unwind. Amazing location and surroundings and so quiet, especially at night. If you want a good nights sleep, then this is the place for you!
We woke up one morning and were greeted at the end of the garden by a young deer..(don't worry, it wasn't in the garden, just at the fence to the field) So peaceful, yet close to anything you want to see or do.
Fiona is a fantastic host, very welcoming and very respectful of your privacy.
The Bothy itself is a simple self catering wee place. Nothing over the top or luxury, but simple and comfy.
You have everything you need in The Bothy and it is clean and well looked after.
Highly recommended accomodation at a good price..

Relaxing Escape and peaceful little piece of heaven.
First Holiday/Break away just me and my wife since we got married. The Bothy was perfect for us celebrating our 20th anniversary. We never planned this as it was my lovely Sister-in-law and her Husband that surprised us with this little piece of heaven to escape to. The minute we arrived we were welcomed by Fiona the owner and she made us feel like family. Then when we entered the bothy the Pictures on here don't do it justice. The bothy made us feel calm and relax the moment we walked in. the surroundings well no heavy traffic or overlooking buildings around just nature and fresh air. Even Fiona's house is not overlooking you in the bothy. We planned our day out but, in all honesty we could have just stayed in the bothy or sat in the garden it was so peaceful. Fiona was even on hand to recommend local services and places to visit. I can't explain fully how much the visit had been all i can say is we miss it now and we cant wait to book a return visit. The rating i gave should been 5+ Fiona you have made this couple thankful for your Bothy and helped us have a wonderful 20th Anniversary. until next visit Thank you. Paul and Roseann Hannon

Another peaceful visit here
Just spent my second visit here in the Bothy, and again loved it. It has all the facilities you need and is so quiet. Perfect for me when I occasionally come up from Cornwall to visit my family in Elgin.
Many thanks to Fiona for the lovely biscuits left for me, great choice lol.
I will always try to book the bothy when I'm next in Scotland.

First Visit of Many
A massive thank you to Fiona and Ian for our stay at your fantastic bothy. This will now be our first choice for any visit to see family up north. My partner booked this and we were both massively impressed. From the milk left for our arrival to the maps of local walks in the drawers, everything was thought of for those staying and immaculately clean. Hosts were welcoming and the furniture and decor made it feel like you had invited us into your home. We actually wished we were staying longer. 10/10 review, fantastic stay.

We would like to thank fiona for allowing us to stay at the amazing Bothy. This is our second visit. We just love staying at the Bothy. Fiona is so nice and helpful. Can't wait until our next visit

A well located and comfortable place to stay near Elgin
We enjoyed our stay at the Bothy. It is well situated for a visit to Elgin and the surrounding countryside and whist compact has all the facilities you need. A very peaceful and relaxing place. We will visit again.
