Nice Place Close to the Water and Great Hosts
Mike and Majella are great hosts and we really enjoyed meeting them and their extended family. This is a clean place with a bit of rustic charm and everything you need. We used the washer/dryer combo unit, the stove, fridge, oven, and various appliances and all worked good.
There is good off street parking for your car. We had a bit of a mechanical issue with our vehicle and Mike was of great assistance. This is also why we spent a bit of extra time in the courtyard garden at the back of the property enjoying conversation with our hosts.
This place is somewhat off the beaten path and is perfect as long as that is what you are looking for. We visited in late April, 2023 and it was very relaxed and quiet in the area.
The TV is on the small side and that could be an issue if you are inside for extended periods of time due to weather or something. We did a little cooking and the only issue was the kitchen knives are dull and need replacing or sharpening.
The beds were comfy and we rested good. The heat works very good and is evenly distributed. Fridge and freezer kept all our food items in great condition.
There is limited shopping for food nearby so advance planning may be required by some. We did well and were able to find all we needed at the mini- supermarket a couple minutes away.

Gem in Galway
What a great little chalet. We cannot fault our stay here. The kindest hosts and great location with close proximity to beach and surrounding areas. The chalet was well equipped and provided everything we could wish for our 3 days stop.

Super stay
Very comfortable warm and clean. Sitting room relaxing for night time. Well equipped with a few extras like milk coffee, cookies and cake on arrival a nice unexpected touch. Easy to explore salthill, Galway, Spiddal, Connemara or visit Aran Islands. Good Internet. Friendly owners and helpful. Overall excellent stay would recommend.

A little gem
Just cannot fault this chalet in any way. Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect surroundings. Mick (the owner) and his family were extremely friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Walk out the back gate onto the side road and after a short walk stunning views over the bay so peaceful.

Visit Galway
We enjoyed our time in the cosy chalet. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of room in the kitchen and good lounge to chill out in. Very near the beach so lots of walking possible. Lots of places to visit within an hour. Really liked visiting the Aran islands with the ferry just down the road.

Charmant endroit
Très bon accueil, endroit charmant et agréable. Logement impeccable et cadre idéal. Merci encore nous avons pu voir les phoques sur la plage à proximité !

Wonderful stay
The chalet was excellently equipped, and much more spacious than the photos suggested. An excellent location, with a little beach down the end of the lane - we enjoyed watching the seals! Michael and Majella were very hospitable and couldn’t have done enough for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay .

nice chalet, very welcoming hosts
The location is amazing - the beach is 15 min stroll! This is a great family-friendly chalet with everything u need in place. Majella and Michael (the owners) are very welcoming and friendly, they even let our dog stay. highly recommended and We'll visit again!

Excellent
Très bon séjour en famille avec deux enfants dans une maison charmante et des propriétaires très agréables et serviables. Très bien située pour visiter le connemara, galway, cliff of moher, à 5mn à pied de la mer. Je recommande vivement. Merci !!
