Un coin de paradis dans un site absolument superbe, à l'abri des grands circuits touristiques et cependant à proximité de tout (Dinan, St Malo,..) La maison et son jardin sont magnifiques, vraiment l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et se retrouver en famille! Merci à James pour sa sympathique et attentionnée bienveillance!

Lovely walking areas, quiet streets, picturesque water view near by, great outdoor garden/ eating area with barbeque available. Lovely house. Clean, Excellent location. Great kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Owner is very responsive to all questions. narrow winding stairs to get to the bedrooms with a couple of low beams.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at La Musardiere and again we had a fantastic week. The location is ideal for exploring the local area or staying in the village and just chilling. The house has everything required for a relaxing week and is very well equipped. We would definitely recommend La Musardiere as a fabulous holiday destination.

The property was exactly as described - a beautiful house and garden with lots of space. Inf fact the photos do not do the house justice. The beds were very comfortable. The garden was a sun trap which was lovely for lazy days reading. The location was amazing - so close to the beach with the resident seal and not far from lots of lovely towns to explore.

Having travelled in France several times but had never been to this particular region of Brittany our family of five, including two children under 10, and one Grandma 82, stayed at La Musardiere for a few days in September 2015. Prior to our trip Edward D (the owner) most helpfully contacted us at home to give us some details about our stay, and was very accessible (by phone) and helpful throughout our stay. We were so pleased to arrive in the beautiful little village of Mordreuc and found the house after a little searching. It was exactly as pictured with stone walls, a large kitchen, spacious bedrooms, updated baths and a spectacular looking and functioning fireplace in the living room. We went with our girls daily to visit the little local seal, and swim and walk along the lovely and picturesque river. If you are looking for a quiet and charming place to explore the surrounding (Dinan, St Malo, Mont Saint Michel) region by car and sit by the fire at night this is the place for you! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Musardiere and highly recommend it for a charming stay. The bedding and towels provided were good quality and clean. Some door heights are very low, watch your head! A sunny and private backyard. A spacious although very skill testing (due to the very narrow alley) garage for parking.

Make sure you ask owner how to find the key safe. Access to parking space at property is tight, but there is nearby parking elsewhere.

La musardiere in mordreuc , Brittany is in a truly tranquil setting. For a family with a 3 & 5 year old it was perfect, with the beach adjacent to the river rance a couple of minutes away (not quite as nice as the excelletnt beaches on the Brittany Coast but very pleasant and sandy and perfect to keep the kids amused). The house has a peaceful courtyard garden which gets plenty of sun and the owners have provided everything that you could want including decent specification dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is space easily for 8-10 people. Mordreuc is close to great places like dinon, dinard and saint malo with super beaches within 15-20 mins. The property is old world but have been renovated to a high standard. If you want a family holiday in Brittany close to some of the best attractions I would heartily recommend La Musardiere and no I'm not related/or a friend of the owner.

We were unfamiliar with Brittany, having spent most holidays in the South and found the area delightfully normal in comparison.. We made much of the nearby walkable towns of Dinan and St Malo, easy to reach on quiet roads, with fine restaurants, interesting architecture and excellent shopping. These and the other local towns also have flourishing street markets - each on a different day to spread the pleasure. Mordreuc is a peaceful haven of a few beautiful old stone-built houses with colourful gardens on the river. There is a café and a slipway (with its resident seal) for small boats. If you cycle there is a pleasant and easy ride to the village (Pleudihen) for the morning bread and croissants, a few minutes by car. The house is spacious, immaculate, extremely comfortable and fully equipped. The garden is large, walled, tiered, a sun trap with fine views from the top level. It's a two- minute stroll to the beach, ideal for small children, and a delightful walk along the river path in the evening. This is a relaxing place, somewhere to unwind and when the weather is good, unbeatable.

We had a trult wonderful stay in La Musadiere. The property was beautiful and well kept. It had a real family feel. The garden and other factilies were excellent for our children and to be only a few yards from the beach was even better! Can't wait to go there again and we have already booked again for this summer!
