Quiet location with beautiful gardens and accommodation
We stayed for a week with Marie and Marc. Their property Saule was immaculate and very spacious. There were 2 other families which meant our children had friends to play with. The garden was peaceful with privacy. The pool was large and very warm.

Luxury Loire Gites
Very clean, well equipped and well presented villa in a tranquil and private garden setting. Children are well catered for with various sporting activities, DVD / book libraries, and bicycles, all complementing a covered swimming pool.
The owners are very accommodating and make themselves available to assist in your stay.
We were generally not blessed with good weather and so in terms of location, a car is a must given the relatively remoteness of the properties. However, once you have got your bearings the supermarket offering is good and there are many places to visit in the region. Restaurants are a little more hard to come by, but the quality stands out.
Overall, this site is recommended for a peaceful get-away for families to relax in a safe, contained environment. Villa is well equipped and the patio / BBQ area is a great place to wind down in the evening.

High quality Gites with very family friendly staff
We had a fantastic stay, great location, excellent high quality spacious Gites finished to a very high standard . Heating swimming pool with cover an absolute bonus. Marc and Marie make every effort to make you feel as welcome a possible, thank you for a great holiday.

Everything you could want from a rental cottage
We stayed in october 2013. I would highly recommend these rental properties. The gite that we stayed in was furnished to a very high standard and was very comfortable with a lovely open fireplace (chopped wood provided). We booked partly because of the pool and it did not disappoint. It is a good size and was heated to around 29 degrees in late October so that our 3 and 5 year old had a great time in it.
Marie and Marc make you feel extremely welcome and are excellent and helpful hosts. They provide a welcome pack of essentials on arrival and Marie was extremely helpful trying to locate a watch that we thought we had lost in one of the local towns (in fact hidden by our 3 year old). Their extensive list of DVDs was also a hit with the children. There are bikes available on site which we used to enjoy the surrounding countryside.
You are within 30 mins to an hour of many of the beautiful castles of the Loire. There is a great animal park 2kms down the road with many types of deer. wolves and a tiger and our kids loved the huge zoo which is about 35 mins drive away.
We had a great time and would love to return. I could not fault it in any way.

Great luxery Gites
Very nice Gite with excellent facilities, particularly for children. Good quiet area with lots of attractions nearby. Very well looked after by our excellent hosts

Our 7 year old enjoyed the holiday so much she cried when we had to leave!
We - grandparents, parents and children - had a fantastic holiday at these gites. The standard of the accommodation (we stayed in Saule) was very good - we really appreciated the quality finish and fittings here. Marie and Marc were wonderful hosts - there whenever we needed them (restaurant bookings, borrowing bikes, taking boulangerie order on Saturday evenings which they deliver on Sunday mornings) but unobtrusive at all other times.
Our children had the 'best holiday ever' playing freely with the children staying in the other Gites. The heated pool with cover was the highlight - fully retracted when the weather is good and when the weather is less good the cover is left on. As a result our children swam for hours every day, including during a storm!
There are also lots of quiet roads nearby which was perfect for cycling - even for children.
We all had a lovely time and were very sad to leave when our 2 week holiday was up - we are not surprised they have so many return visitors.

Just perfect !
We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 days. The Villas are extremely well equipped (even the dishwasher tabs were included), spotlessly clean and offer real comfort. The pool was well used during our stay and is a lovely temperature - our little 4 year old girl enjoyed many hours of swimming. The Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday was a great hit with everyone - children & adults alike!
Marie and Marc are wonderfully friendly and very conscientious - they work hard to ensure all their guests are happy....and we were...extremely!!

Delightful hosts in this rural setting
We had a lovely welcome from Marc and Marie the owners of these lovely holiday cottages. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Saule give which is beautifully laid out with charm and all the modern conveniences you could possibly need. We couldn't fault the site and the unobtrusive help of the owners. We made several trips to the surrounding castles and sites of the region. A word of warning is that the position is quite rural which is either a positive or negative depending on your view point. I imagine it would be a good spot with children as the pool is nice. We did quite a lot of driving but the venue is great to relax especially with the barbecue.
