The apartment is as we expected with no real surprises, a good bargain for its price. It has a small kitchen with table for two, bedroom with two separate beds, all in one large room. The bathroom adjoins the bedroom. Plus: very quiet, nice neighborhood, well maintained apartment and building. Minus: lots of stairs (4 tall stories). Only one room, so it is a problem if one person wants to read, and the other to sleep. The landlady was on vacation when we arrived and she sent her sister to greet us. The sister knew very little English, but we got along well with French and Spanish. The landlady is responsive to WhatsApp, which is convenient.

She cancel my booking after one day to take another booking for more days than mine. Very unprofessional.

This sweet place was just right, size and location-wise. The location was perfect and on a quiet side street. It’s an old, restored building, but clean and appointed well enough. Don’t expect a 5-star hotel stay, but a comfortable place to eat, hang out and sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was spare, but had everything I needed for cooking simple meals. The owners were helpful, responsive and sweet. No elevator in the building, but it’s a good way to work off some croissants! Good for a solo traveler or a close couple. Thanks for the wonderful Paris stay!

Sylvia and her husband supported us from the first contact very well. Everything was in order like promised. Jean - Sylvias husband - is a funny guy and he explained all necessary details with good humor. He even pre-installed 2 German TV chanels (but who will look TV when being on vacation a few days in this marvellous, chaotic city??). My recommendations: have a look to the close Place de Voges and the quiet Place Dauphine on the Isle de Cité. By the way: There are 95 (staircase)steps from the bottom up to the apartment; but we enjoyed each of them in this wonderfull stairway.

Petit studio bien équipé et très propre,au calme donnant sur cour. Emplacement exceptionnelle en plein quartier du Marais. Vous êtes au cœur d'un des quartiers les plus agréables de Paris . Propriétaire très arrangeant et sympathique . Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages avant et après notre séjour, Ce qui nous a permis de profiter au maximum de notre séjour . Heures d'arrivée et de départ flexibles . Je recommande cette location.

Nice little apartment, suited for two, relaxing enough, 4 beautiful stairs to climb but that is good for the health. Do not bring to much luggage. We loved it.

This is a lovely little apartment. Very clean and quiet. We were met by the owner's husband who was very helpful and gave us lots of information and recomendations about the apt and the area and even how to get back to the airport as we had travelled in by Eurostar. This apt is very easy to find, very close to the metro (5 minutes), Notre Dame Cathedral (10 mins walk) and is in the heart of Le Marais. This is a bustling neighbourhood, many restaurants and shops, but you would never know once you get into the apt. We slept each night with the windows open and hardly heard a peep. A very small bathroom but functional, a very small kitchen area but big enough to cook some quick meals. We made most breakfasts and a few pasta dinners. 3 grocery stores in the immediate vicinity. Would most certainly book this apartment again in the future. This is a 5th floor walk up - no elevator - so pack lightly - but is in fact only 4 stories up as Europeans count the ground floor as #1. Could not beat the price. Beds very comfortable also.

El estudio nos resultó cómodo, éramos dos personas. No es muy grande pero alcanza para la cantidad de tiempo que estábamos ahí. Tiene heladera, cocina, microondas, tostadora, cafetera, bien equipado. Cuando fuimos estaba bastante fresco así que no se como es el lugar con el tema del calor, nosotros estuvimos perfecto. Nos recibió Jean Marie, quien nos explicó todo y nos dio muchos consejos útiles sobre París, muy buena onda y muy amable. Esta ubicado en el centro histórico de París a 2/3 cuadras de la avenida rivoli, que es una de las principales, sobre las que hay muchas líneas de colectivo y metro. También a unos 700/800 metros, cruzando unos puentes esta la catedral de notre dame. El barrio esta lleno de comercios, barra, panaderías, super, Todo a mano. Es muy tranquilo y pintoresco para andar a toda hora. La única contra es que no hay ascensor en el lugar y hay que subir 4 pisos por escalera, lo cual se complica con la valija y para personas mayores o con movilidad reducida, pero en París muchos alojamientos son así, nosotros no tuvimos problemas en subir y bajarlas, con la.valija yo no hubiese podido, pero entre mi novio y Jean Marie se ocuparon de ello Sin duda volvería! Recomendable!

A fantastically situated studio located in the Marais district of Paris. Close to Notre Dame and Shakespeare and Company bookstore. Easy walk to BHV department store and other shops and restaurants. Handy Monoprix grocery shop about four minutes from the apartment. The apartment is on the top floor about 85 steps so best be able to physically be able to walk up this many steps. Perfect place for one or two persons. Has toaster, kettle, coffeemaker, dishes, small fridge and two burner stove. Owner was available to help with a backed up toilet left by previous tenant.

The apartment is just the right size for me. It is in an ideally location for visiting the art galleries and it is only short walk to a lot of the must see sights of Paris. The area also as some fine restaurants and bistros where you can dine, have a few drinks and relax.
