We received a cruel review stating: We left garbage in the garbage can. We did not put a throw back on the coach. We had 10 bottles in the glass recycle bin. The windows weren't shut prpoerly. Food was left in the fridge. The place was dirty. A light was left on. Our response - Yes there was some garbage in the can because it's a garbage can. We had taken out garbage out twice during the week stay. We were told to put glass in the container that we did. It is not her business, if we had 1 or 10 bottles of wine with our guests during our week stay. Yes, we left unopened food in the fridge. We also left a large container of coffee and a large box of sugar for the next guests. As there was very little when we came. We also left toweling, laundry soap, toilet paper, and body wash, that should have been provided, We made the beds and washed all of the dishes and put them away. A throw was not returned to the coach bed..... Really??? I would think she would be stripping and replacing all of the bedding. The windows were old and warped and did not shut well, but had bars, so they were still safe. Also, she told us we could park in the street. Yes, however she did not mention it was 33 euros every 8 hours. The apartment was way less than the cost of parking. Also, she did not meet us and give us any directions. All notes for directions were in French and she knew we were from the US. Her husband opened the apartment and spoke very little English and said he did not know much about the place. The place was NOT dirty. We checked before we left. As to a light being left on, I can't honestly say. I thought all of the lights were off.

Studio propre, tout équipé, et pratique à 500 m du château et du centre de Versailles. Proche des 2 gares (Versailles Rive gauche et Versailles Chantiers). Accueil sympathique. Prix correct. Je recommande vivement.

We loved the ambiance of this well-designed, comfortable apartment, especially the tall shuttered windows that opened out onto a small private terrace, positioned next to a lovely flower garden. Everything we needed (grocery store, pharmacy, patisserie...) was just a stones throw away. The property was immaculate and our hostess was gracious and accommodating. Our stay could not have been more pleasant.
