Très bel appartement en bord du Thiou
Appartement très agréable et très bien décoré avec une grande terrasse sans vis à vis. L'immeuble est en bord du Thiou, permettant de rejoindre assez rapidement, et à pied, le centre historique d'Annecy et ses très nombreux restaurants.
Les propriétaires sont communiquant et de bons conseils !
Un séjour très agréable, dommage que la météo n'ait pas été au rendez-vous :-)

Lovely Apartment, great location
We stayed 5 nights in the apartment. It is easily accessed as you enter Annecy so we found it right away and were greeted immediately by the local representative who showed us into the carpark.
The apartment is spacious with a large open plan, kitchen, dining, living area. The dining table seats 6, and the sofa sat the 3 of us comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped, although we didnt do any cooking. I did buy croissants from the nearby bakery to eat in the mornings and we used the coffee maker. Unfortuntately there were no dishwasher tablets supplied so we washed cups, glasses, plates in the sink.
The bedrooms are a good size, we didn't really use the cupboard space but there seemed to be space enough for a few days of clothes. The beds were comfortable with nice cotton linen, but the pillows were hard and bulky.
The balcony around the apartment is large and is a very pleasant place to have a post prandial drink at at the end of the day.
The shower room is good, modern with plenty of hot water.
The apartment complex is close to the river Thiou and the path along side provides a pleasant walk to Annecy old town which takes about 10 mins, and a further 10 mins will get you to the lake. To walk to the commercial centre was also about 10 mins in the other direction. We chose this apartment primarily because it is close to the Ifalpes Language School which is only a few minutes walk.
This is a very good apartment. Softer pillows and some dishwasher tables would have made it even better.

Thank you for your review. We will look into the pillows and are surprised to see that there were no dishwasher tablets. The agency didn’t put any it seems. As for the pillows, some want them soft and others hard. Difficult to please all.

De vraies vacances
Entre le calme, la vue, le côté pratique de cet appartement, tout y est.
Tres bien équipé en électroménager, en linge de maison.Ce logement mérite d'être vu.
Tres bien situé, idéal pour famille.
La ville est proche en.longeant la rivière pour des balades et des visites variées. Des navettes pour accéder aux montagnes

Nice apartment, quiet location
Lovely sunny apartment, enjoyed the outside space and views of the mountains. Well equipped and furnished throughout and decorated to a high standard. A very comfortable place to be in. There could have been some more basic items such as bin liners, tea towels. A lovely selection of knives in the kitchen but none of them sharp.
A choice of supermarkets but our preferred shop was a good ten minutes walk away. The nearest supermarket sold Turkish items not known to us. An excellent artisan bakers only two minutes away and open from 6.30 in the morning.
Meeting arrangements to pick up the keys did not work well, had to make a number of phone calls before someone arrived.
If you are coming from the UK and like tea, bring your own teabags (French tea expensive and not good).
This apartment is situated in a quiet area with a tow path running along the stream which takes you into the heart of the Old Town (stunning place), but be aware this is at least a fifteen minute walk, and further to the lake. Good position for the bus/train station.
Annecy is a stunning place to visit with an excellent selection of restaurants. the markets held on various days are a must to see. This apartment is a great place and ideal for discovering this area, and allowing you to chill out when needed.

Thank you for the nice recommendation. We will see to it that the agency responds quickly and tell them to provide more tea towels, garbage bags and to sharpen the knives. Just so that you know, an automatic knife sharpener is provided and stored behind the knife rack.
In our listing, we do mention that the apartment is a 15 minute walk away from Annecy Old City and that is takes ½ hour to get to the lake. We are sorry you missed this.
We are happy to see that you enjoyed your stay in Annecy and hope you will return.

Appartement très sympa à deux pas du vieil Annecy
Séjour très agréable dans cet appartement bien équipé et situé à quelques minutes à pied du vieil Annecy et du centre ville. Le rooftop et le parking privé sont très appréciables.
En cette période estivale, la climatisation aurait été un plus pour la nuit.
Très bonne adresse si vous voulez visiter la région.

Nous vous remercions pour votre commentaire. Nous avons essayé de faire en sorte que cet appartement soit comme un second chez soi. Cependant nous avons bien noté votre remarque sur la climatisation et votre avis sera pris en compte. Juste quelques mots à ce sujet :
Avant nous n’avions pas besoin de cela. Le 4e étage, bien ventilé, au milieu des arbres, en surplomb de la rivière, ne nécessitait pas la climatisation qui est souvent bruyante et pas tellement performante pour la planète. Aujourd’hui nous sommes en train d’étudier une ventilation rafraichissante, silencieuse, avec prise d’air filtrée à l’extérieur. Je peux vous assurer que nous ne laisserons pas passer un autre été aussi chaud sans une réponse adaptée. Nous vous informerons de sa réalisation sur notre site, rubrique Actualités. Cordialement,

Peaceful weeks stay at the Magic Moments Apartment Annecy
Thank you, Philippe, Marc and Sylvia for the meet, greet, and help during our relaxing weeks stay.
The apartment is well equipped and located overlooking the river Thiou, with a shared walking/cycle path that runs to the old township and lake Annecy, approximately a 15 minute brisk walk or a slow lazy walk enjoying the swans, ducks and people watching from many park bench's along the way or enjoy the local boulangerie on the other side of the neighborhood park from the apartment.
Visit the local information center for all the various activities in Annecy or take a bus day trip or overnight-er to Chamonix and go up the Aiguille du Midi cable car to enjoy the view of the alps.

A fantastic apartment
It's really difficult to find fault with Magic Moments apartment - spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of fresh towels and every possible convenience.
The restaurants in the area are excellent, and far cheaper than eating in the centre of Annecy. We ate at L'Azimuth45, Contresens and the Moroccan restaurant, all very good.
The walk into town along the river is shaded and pleasant, and the apartment terrace is a real suntrap.
Our only small issue was with the company who handle the lettings, as they didn't reply to emails before the holiday. Then, despite phoning from the airport, as directed, we had to wait 45 minutes in the heat to be let into the apartment. Philippe, the owner, handled this immediately, and was in touch via email despite being abroad himself. It made all the difference, and was the only small blip in an otherwise excellent holiday.

Lovely apartment
We had a lovely holiday in Annecy and stayed at this very well equipped, modern apartment.
We were met by Sylvia who gave us the keys and showed us around, even left us a bottle of the local Fizz.
The apartment is smartly decorated and the beds were very comfortable which is so important!
We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony in the evenings after we had walked back from the old town restaurants.
Another bonus is that this property has allocated underground secure parking.
The owner and agents are very helpful too 😊

Super Apartment in a Great Location
Magic Moments is a great apartment in a super location. It is as advertised and overlooks the Thiou river with its lovely walking track all the way to the old town (10 minutes). It is located within a residential complex and the area is quiet and welcoming. A bakery is 2 minutes away and other shops, restaurants and services are close by. It is about a 10 minute walk from the station.
The apartment is light filled and sofas, chairs and beds are all of high quality. The outdoor terrace is a sun trap and is spacious and a delight to use. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything needed for self-catering. The WIFI was excellent.
Hanging space in the second bedroom is non existent.
We visited the apartment during a period of very high temperatures. The apartment did not cope well. The outdoor terrace (to floor) and the walls heat up and the apartment becomes a hot box. Fans are provided but they were inadequate. We had great difficulty getting the temperatures in the bedrooms below 28 degrees during the night. This makes sleeping difficult.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to other travelers. However, beware if you happen to arrive in the middle of a high Summer hot spell - be prepared to swelter. A second set of keys would have been useful.

We thank you for the rating and nice comments.
You were not lucky heat wise. You were in Annecy during a heat wave (which is quite rare). Right now the temperatures have plummeted to 17°C.
Annecy is in a temperate zone because of the mountains and it’s lake.
One solution is closing the roll down shutters during the day and opening everything at night. The apartment has many windows and it’s the glass windows that create the heat.
Nevertheless we will look to find a solution for the heat (air coolers which can be used when a heat wave hits).
As to the hanging problem, we do have hooks on the hide-a-away bed but we will also look into putting a small hanging closet. Luckily there are plenty of shelves in the second bedroom.
There is closets in the hallway and in the other bedroom.
Once again we thank you for having chosen our apartment and wish you safe travels.
