La semaine passée avec 4 enfants dans cet appartement tout proche de chamonix ( juste assez pour être au calme et proche des stations ) était tout simplement parfaite . Les gourmands que nous sommes n’avons pas d’appareil à raclette mais nous avons trouvé ça -) . Allez-y sans hésiter ! Propre , bien aménagé et proche de toutes les stations de la vallée .

Lieu génial avec sublime vue sur l'aiguille du Midi et aiguillette des Houche Brevan. Appartement avec tout confort. Très appréciable !!! Nous recommandons !!!

Un véritable appartement personnel loin des location standardisé pour usine à touriste. De la terrasse une vue imprenable sur l'aiguille du midi. La proximité de la voie de train n'est pas une gène car ceux-i ne circulent pas la nuit et que l'isolation phonique est au top.

Winter stay for skiing. Quiet location, all amenities, everything you need in the apartment. There is underfloor heating which makes it a nice warm apartment except for the main bedroom which was quite cold but then this would probably be a bonus un the summer. There is a car park next to the apartments which are ideal for the ski locker located below the apartment block down some steps. However, there was a couple of times when we were unable to park here when returning from skiing as the people (who couldn't park properly) who work for Cristal and Tui use the car park weekdays until late). There is a car park across the road which is quite muddy ( given that we had a hire car and ski gear we really didn't want to park here, so just parked in the lay-by outside of the post office until one of the cars moved). I also think people walking use the car park too. It wasn't really much of an issue though.The Vallorcine to Chamonix train line passes the back of the apartment but the trains stop at 9pm and there was no real noise from this as we were out most of the day anyway. Supermarkets are just down the road. A tip though: make sure you don't go early evening as it can be very busy. You do need a car but I would recommend a hire car for Chamonix anyway. If one area is late in opening due to weather this means that you can then travel to another area plus it gives the opportunity for travel to Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel. There is a little lake about a 15 min walk away (Lac Gaillands) which is really nice and would imagine this being very popular in the summertime as there is a camping ground and rock climbing etc nearby. Also loads of walking routes on your doorstep. A really good location if you want peace and quiet.

We've just returned from a nice 4 night break in this lovely spacious apartment. Really beautiful area and the apartment has everything you need, clean, quiet, warm and nicely furnished. Great communication with owners and transport links also very good and easy to get about on the busses that run through the Chamonix Valley. I would love to return in summer, would definitely book this accommodation again if returning to this area.

We had been recommended Emily & Alex's place by a friend who stayed last year. We are so grateful for the recommendation. We had an amazing holiday there. The apartment had everything our family needed. The views out to the glacier were stunning. Only a few minutes walk to the train station. For us it was a perfect location as I prepared for UTMB and wanted to avoid the madness of Chamonix. Emily and Alex were very accommodating to our needs and I highly recommend staying with them.

Apartment is very comfortable - nice and cool which we needed during our hot week! Kitchen is well equipped. Having stayed in Chamonix last year we enjoyed being in a quieter location. Great transport links so used bus or train each day to get to places up and down the Chamonix valley to walk. Chamonix is a 20-30 minute walk away depending on route taken.Emily and Katherine were great to deal with- really helpful and we appreciated them being flexible about checking in and out times and arrangements- many thanks!

We have just spent a lovely week at Les Bossonades for our annual skiing holiday. The apartment is well equipped with nicely appointed rooms, a kitchen with lots of handy equipment, cutlery & crockery as well as ample parking and a good-sized ski locker in the basement. We appreciated the high chair and cot bed being available on arrival for our 1 year old. Having flown in from the UK early that morning to Geneva, we called at Carrefour in Sallanches for a food shop before making our way to Les Bossonades. It was easy to find being on the main through road to Chamonix, but the apartment itself is on the other side of the building / block and so there is no intrusive road noise. The walk into Chamonix was about 30 minutes on foot, or you could easily drive down in 10 minutes. A number of the car parks give you up to 1 hour of free parking before you have to pay. The apartment gives easy access to Les Houches which we visited on one day and took the cable car up Bellvue. Giving Chamonix’s prominence as the epicentre of all things mountaineering & outdoorsy, there is no such thing as a ‘bargain’ here but having a car is certainly handy as you can head out to Sallanches for big food shops if staying as a family. There is a Super-U in Chamonix, but its priced accordingly. Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here – the contact from Emily & Alex in the run up to our stay was very reassuring and the welcome from Kathryn with lots of useful local information was also very much appreciated.
