Outstanding apartment complex, clean pool, beautiful gardens, 200m to sandy beach and excellent security. Nice mix of Spanish weekenders and foreign tourists, pool and beach never too busy even in July. Our kids had a great time. Apartment clean, more spacious than photos, tastefully decorated and not cluttered. Everything needed for a family holiday on hand. Two lovely terraces with one looking out onto pool area. Booking, arrival and communication with Tony so straightforward we hardly needed any contact - always a good sign! Nicest stretch of beach in the whole area right at apartment. Excellent bars and restaurants. We didn't hire a car, Uber very easy and cheap to use for trips to Marbella/Banus etc. Would recommend taking Fly Blue cattermaran boat taxi from Marbella to Banus. Will definitely be back and will be recommending Tony's apartment and Playa Alicate to family and friends.

For the third time at the Alicate Playa appartment complex and for the second time at Tony's appartment. The appartment is just perfect. Two bedrooms with decent beds. A kitchen with a Dolce Gusta machine. The TV worked just fine with lots of English channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5. Although I brought my chromecast so we could see all channels from home. The only thing the appartment maybe needs is a dryer. Especially in October it's hard to get the cloths and bath towels dry. There is only sun in the morning at the terrace. But this is just a minor point. Next year we'll be there at August. The two restaurants at the beach are fine, but there are better ones when you walk a few minutes to the left where two great Beach clubs are, Nosso and Bono. Nosso is very good, but overpriced and Bono has better value for money. You need a car at the appartment complex. In 10 minutes you can reach the modern shopping mall of Marbella, with a supermarket etc. Marbella is just 15 minutes by car and Puerto banus 20 minutes by car. The pools are great but cold in October. So is the sea. But with a child aged 9 cold water is not an issue. The appartment is well kept and very clean. Paola is a great hostess and Tony (via mail) is always there when you need him.

El apartamento está en primera linea de playa y junto a uno de los mejores restaurantes de Marbella, en mi opinión. Esta bien equipado y es muy cómodo, y la urbanización, preciosa y tranquila. Espero repetir.

Apartamento cómodo, con todo lo necesario, en urbanización tranquila con jardines muy cuidados. Estupenda piscina. Se accede a la playa en poco tiempo por un camino que bordea la urbanización. Hay varios chiringuitos: Estuvimos en "Los Cano" y lo recomendamos. Para todo lo demás es necesario el coche o el autobús. El propietario es muy amable y contesta enseguida (en inglés), tiene una persona de contacto en Marbella.

Pasamos unos días geniales en el apartamento. Muy confortable y con todo lo necesario para la estancia. El jardin y la piscina preciosos. Al lado de la playa y cerca de Marbella y de la ecoreserva de Ojen, que es la que queríamos visitar.

Sono stato qualche giorno in questo alloggio e devo dite che è tutto perfetto, gradevole, le persone sono eccezionali, il posto bellissimo. I say some days in june in this apartment and I have to say everything is perfect and very nice, the persona are special and the palce is amazing.

A perfect break away in this gem of an apartment. Gorgeous pool and so close to the beach, with great restaurants. Booking was easy & Tony replies to any queries quickly. We’ve been to this area previously and know a car is a must; the underground parking is a great bonus. We’ve already pencilled in dates for our next visit! Thank you for a lovely holiday :)

This appartment was well equiped, spacious and very clean. Beach is just a short walk away. You do need a car in this area.

The appartment has all what you need. The two bathrooms and two bedrooms are very good. The kitchen is well equipped and the location is super! Someday we will be back!

For the second time we were at the apartment complex at Alicate Playa. The first time at Tony's apartment. Just like all downstairs apartments, the house is very well decorated, very neutral, and everything you need is there. For rainy days there is a television with lots of British tv channels, and also BVN for the Dutch. The complex is beautiful decorated with flowers and palm plants. The pool is cold (october) but our girl (6) and me...We did swim a lot. From the complex to the beach there is a beautiful pathway. There are a few nice restaurants at the beach. Los Cano is good. The beach club South Beach was perfect! This beach club stays open all sunny days. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They look good. The kitchen is well equipped and the washingmachine is very simpel to use. In October the complex is very quiet. We loved it! There is a spacious parking garage below the complex. There is 24h security on the complex. You need a car for groceries and going somewhere. Marbella is just around the corner...And Mijas and Fuengirola are close by. We will comeback at this place!
