Peaceful villa with lovely pool, large garden, and friendly host.
Overall lovely, but nowhere is perfect so let's get the negatives out of the way first. The ceilings of the top three bedrooms are low and sloping and although there are fans, there is no air conditioning. We were there in August during the hottest time of the year, so it was hard but we adapted, opening windows during coolest times, using fans, etc.
The villa is in a quiet residential area, walking distance to the 'pink' lake (where we were blessed to see some flamingos) and to the local supermarket, and to a good cheap family friendly restaurant Bar Lago Jardin. Short drive to the beach, Aldi, and Torrevieja town centre.
The pool is fairly big and well maintained. The indoor and outdoor lounge/recreation areas are large with plenty of seating options, table tennis, table football, etc. There is both shade and sun depending on what you like.
The indoor lounge has air conditioning which gives a cool down space. There are indoor and outdoor bathrooms and kitchens which were well equipped, and had what we needed. There is an additional loo on the top floor.
Our host, Juan, was friendly and helpful during our stay.
The garden has some lovely trees and birds typical to the area. There is ample parking within padlocked gates.
We saw no mosquitoes, but if you've never been to Spain before, beware, the flies bite !

Excellent villa
We stayed in Villa Lagosol for 10 nights in July. There were 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 children - and we had a wonderful time.
Villa Lagosol is located in a quiet residential area. It is within a 5 minute walk of a very good supermarket and a few bars. With a further supermarket and small commercial centre with restaurants and bars a further 10 minutes walk away. There is also a pharmacy within a 5 minute walk. One point to be aware of is that the closest supermarket is not open on a Sunday.
We did not have a car and managed to get around on the bus easily. The bus to and from the beach and Torrevieja central runs every 40 minutes and takes about 15 minutes. The bus stop is next to the supermarket and the single fare is €1.30. The taxi fare to the beach is around €8 but with 10 of us travelling the bus worked out cheaper as we would need three taxis.
The villa itself is very spacious with 5 double or twin rooms - two on the first floor and three upstairs. The bedrooms either had a ceiling fan or a free standing fan. The three bedrooms upstairs have sloping roofs so you do have to mind your head when getting out of bed. The kitchen has a full sized fridge freezer and there is also a washing machine in a small utility room. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware you needed. There is a shower room with toilet on the first floor and another toilet upstairs.
In addition to the first floor living room there is also a downstairs dining/lounging/chilling area, which leads on to the pool. This area was huge with a further cooker and fridge freezer, an additional shower room, which was handy when it came to 10 people trying to get ready to go out, table tennis table and bar football table to keep the children, big and little, occupied. However the best part of the villa for us was the pool. It was wonderful to have our own pool which we could use at any time. The area around the pool was grassed so we didn't have to worry about the children falling over and there were plenty of sunbeds arranged on the grass for us to use.
The owner Juan was very helpful and attentive without being interfering. On our day of arrival he was there to greet us and we were able to 'check in' at 10am as we had a very early flight from the UK. He came every few days to check the pool and showed the children how to collect fruit from the trees in the garden. We had his mobile number so could call him at anytime if there was a problem. He also very kindly took us out on his sailing boat which was a wonderful experience for all those that went. We felt that Juan was a very genuine person. The villa was his family home and it was clear that he wanted those that stay there to have good memories.
All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Lagosol to others.

Fabulous holiday
Villa Lagosol is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of seating areas, bbq area, ideal pool, great views and has everything we needed. Its in an ideal location, not too far a drive from La Zenia, local supermarkets, a few bars within walking distance.
Such a lovely stay, we will be back again soon!

Villa Lagosol stay
Lovely villa. Quiet location. Easy reach of Torrevieja. Juan was very helpful . Plenty of car parking space. Good Wi-fi Would definitely like to visit again.
Negatives-
3 bedrooms are small & not enough head space.
One bathroom is in the main building & other bathroom is outside the main accommodation.

Perfect place to relax
We had a great time during our autumn break. Our boys 11 and 14 enjoyed the pool, the table tennis and football table immensely, whilst my wife and I were able to relax. Big bonus for our kids was the WIFI! There is a supermarket in walking distance and some restaurants a longer walk or a short drive away. Torrevieja is also not far away. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Spain. Juan is a perfect host and only a phone call away if needed.

Fantastic villa for large family groups.
We had a fantastic family trip for 8 adults and 2 children. The pool, facilities and extensive grounds were superb for all of us.
Private and quiet location, but close to a supermarket, restaurants and other services.
The owner Juan was very helpful and friendly, only a phone call away if needed.

Words can't explain how beautiful and relaxing this villa is.
Serenity. Everyone of us were absolutely delighted with this gem of a dream place. Juan is a true gent. Don't know how he rents it out so cheap. We all booked again for next year. Can't wait.YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEHHHHHHHHaaaaaaaa

Lovely house with great house owners!
Villa Lagosol was situated in a very quiet and nice environment. It was nearby the pink salt lake, a wonderful place. The house owner Juan and his wife were also very kind. We went on his boat for half a day and we went also for a swim in the port with them. I had a really nice stay at the villa!

Lovely proper spanish villa in quiet private surroundings , juan was a great host looking after things and was only a message away if u needed him , great for a quiet get away or like ourselves take the grandkids and enjoy the large pricate pool, woyks def return
