Great location,air conditioned.
Had a very enjoyable stay here. Location was excellent, within 5 or 10 mins for everything in Sorrento, supermarket, restaurants, train/bus station, beach. Good size accommodation, air conditioning in each room, which was much needed, as absolutely scorching for our 2 week holiday. One master bedroom with full bathroom/shower off that, one other bedroom, with beds that can be made double or two singles, a double sofa bed in living room/kitchen and another toilet and basin room. The extra toilet facilities were useful, being a party of 5 adults. Accommodation was clean and spacious, with a very pleasant balcony area for sitting out, particularly enjoyable early evening. Would have been nice if the living area had been slightly bigger, so that the person on sofa bed wasn't disturbed in the morning, when coming in to use the kitchen, but a minor observation. Kitchen had most everything that was needed and was clean. Only item missing was a microwave, which might be an added bonus, to complete kitchen appliances. Only issue was the hot water for the power shower ran out after about 2 showers. Tank a little on the small side for 4-5 people. It meant we had to stagger our showers after a day out, to allow for the water to reheat a little, so that everyone could shower before going out for supper. I realise that due to the incredibly hot weather we experienced, and the fact we were 5 people, we all needed showers at the same time at the end of a day sightseeing, this wouldn't always be the case at other times of year. This wasn't too big a problem, however, as cooler showers were quite welcome on some of the boiling hot days. Martina our host was very helpful and listened to our feedback, she was always on hand either by phone or WhatsApp, to quickly answer our queries or help with any problems. Everything was done electronically, from our check in, being buzzed into the apartment and our check out, where she gave us flexibility on what time we had to leave the apartment on our departure day, much appreciated. I think it would have been a nice touch to have met Martina in person on arrival at the apartment, but that being said, everything worked very smoothly, I would be happy to stay again. I would certainly recommend this apartment for a family as a great base for a holiday in Sorrento.

Nice apartment in great location
This was a nice apartment located a few minutes walk from downtown Sorrento. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. Our stay in Sorrento went very well.

Great apartment in good location
Stayed with friends for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the lovely centre of Sorrento and 10 minute walk the other way to the train station. Federica and Martina were very helpful from booking to checking in and made sure everything was more than satisfactory. A couple of very small disadvantages, it is on a very busy junction and the only shower is in the en suite in one of the bedrooms which just meant that, staying with friends, we had to be organised in that department. The apartment did have everything we could want and we would definitely stay there again. Thanks Federica & Martina!

Dear Ian, thank you so much for your kind and honest review. The apartament is very central and well located on one of Sorrento's main road. In case of some busy traffic days, closing the windows, eventually noise will not be a problem :))) About shower, yes, there is one shower in the master bedroom, but 2 bathrooms at guests disposal. Staying in Sorrento
My friend and I stayed at Residenza degli aranci for three nights. The apt was very clean. The apt was good size. The apt is conveniently located in Sorrento. Close to transport and the town center. Kitchen had all the needed appliances and kitchen supplies. My friend even did a load of laundry!! Martina is a wonderful host. Check in was easy and a special treat (panettoni) awaited us!!! I forgot my phone charger and Martina contacted me and sent to me free of charge. Way above what she needed to do! I would definitely stay there again. Thanks again for a very nice stay!!!

Town centre apartment
The location is excellent as main thorough fare, shops ,bars, restaurants is only a two minute walk away.Spacious clean apartment. Gets the morning sun on the terrace which over looks the main road, however no noise on an evening once the shutters have gone down. Only draw backs were , the apartment above being renovated but hopefully not for much longer and from the apartment adjacent to main bedroom you could hear the tv and their conversation until late.However in an apartment block in Italy you are bound to get some noise and overall didn't spoil our stay. We didn't get to meet Martina personally but her representative was at the airport to greet us and gave us full details for the apartment. Martina was very helpful and obliging especially with altering our dates of stay due to Monarch going into administration. She responds to queries very quickly. The apartment is good value for money.

Great location and lovely balcony
We (four adults) visited in September. Before, during and after our visit, Martina was really helpful - providing tips and advice and even offering to call our transfer company to ensure they knew where to collect us for the return to the airport. The apartment is a good size and there is a fantastic balcony from which to watch the world go by with a coffee / limoncello! It's located on a busy road, but we didn't find that to be a problem, and it's only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Sorrento. It was great to have two bathrooms, although only one (accessed through the bigger bedroom) has a shower; this was fine for a few days' stay. It was also great to have air con in the larger bedroom and living room. There are also shutters, which help keep the apartment nice and cool. When we were there, the safe had been locked by a previous guest, but the apartment has a very secure door and lock a key is also required to access the building - so we felt safe leaving our passports etc. I would recommend the apartment as a great base to visit Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Great location, fits the bill.
The apartment is an easy walk from the main station in Sorrento, there is a bus stop nearby which can take you to the beaches, and everything is easily within walking distance. There is a market just nearby, which was very helpful. Our host, Martina, was very helpful getting us all settled in and making sure everything ran smoothly. Her associate, Francesca, was very kind and gave us reccomendations for the best ice cream and pizza. Always trust a local. The place was big enough for myself and four friends, and we had no issues. Definitely check this place out.

Lovely Apartment in a Perfect Location
We arrived to meet the very friendly and helpful Federica waiting for us, who brought us to a lovely open and bright apartment. With a spacious balcony overlooking a very pleasant view, it is the perfect spot for a holiday in Sorrento. Firstly, the location: it is only a stone's throw from the main street, which you'll find yourself on in two minutes. In between there is a small supermarket, in which you should find everything that you need. The station - bus and train - is about ten minutes walk in a straight and direct line up the Via degli Aranci. I found any street noise to be purely background, and it was never an issue for me. There was absolutely no disturbance from neighbours at all. The apartment itself is two bedroom, one en-suite bathroom, and a toilet, with the kitchen and living area as one. All is bright, with both the smaller bedroom and the kitchen opening out onto a very usable and comfortable balcony. The one disappointment was with regard to the air conditioning: it features in both the main bedroom and the living area, but not the second bedroom. This was not an issue for my daughter in early June, as the balcony door being open was more than adequate. There is plenty of storage space, which keeps the place clutter-free. We did not use the cooker (I was on holiday!), but we found the kitchen perfect, and had no issues. It was spotlessly clean, as was the entire apartment, so I would have no complaints on that front. The WiFi was great, and all technology that we used ran perfectly on it. On a more personal note, I asked Martina could my niece visit for a few days, and she was exceptionally accommodating, and there was no extra cost whatsoever, which was much appreciated. So if you're visiting Sorrento for your holidays, it's the fantastic spot!

Lovely apartment.
The apartment is lovely and spacious and Federica who greeted us was lovely, friendly and gave us lots of information. The location is great although the street is quite noisy so use the shutters to help block it out. There is lots of storage space, air conditioning and plenty of kitchen equipment. The beds and pillows are quite firm if you're used to a soft bed but you get used to them. You can walk easily to the train station to travel further afield. The walk into Sorrento town is lovely and the squares with lots of restaurants and little streets with lots of shops are just gorgeous. Going to the port and watching the sunset is a must! There is a dog in the next door apartment who barks a bit but it wasn't a problem. Well recommended!

Clean, large, central - convenient base for exploring the region.
Our group (4 adults) stayed at Residenza Degli Arnaci for a week in May 2017. Pre-arrival communication with the owner was prompt, courteous and honest. We experienced some airline complications during our trip there, and Martina was easy to get a hold of and accommodating with respect to check-in. Upon arrival, we found the apartment clean, spacious, and as advertised and depicted on the website. Everything worked as expected. Wifi was a little quirky, but not really a problem - I understand Martina has just replaced the setup. The portable wifi hotspot Martina provided was excellent, and we used it frequently. The apartment is located near a relatively busy street. You can sit on the patio and watch Sorrento life go by in the evenings. You can definitely hear the street, but the noise virtually disappears when you close the windows for the night. The apartment has A/C, which we used at night to keep cool without having to open windows. While in Sorrento, we explored Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri and Naples. Most of these trips start at the train/bus station, which is 5-10 min, mostly flat, walk from the apartment. Ferry terminal to Capri is about a 10 min walk (includes stairs or elevator). The apartment is located right on the edge of the old city, so you can walk to the "tourist zone" of Sorrento in a couple of minutes. There is a Carrefour supermarket very close to the apartment, so getting groceries was easy. Several other supermarkets are also relatively nearby. There are also many restaurants nearby. We had a small medical event during our stay. It is relatively easy to get by with English in Sorrento, but this particular clinic spoke only Italian at the reception. We asked Martina to help us sort things out, and she was very helpful. Checkout was simple. We were leaving early, and all Martina asked us to do was to close the windows, leave keys on the table and be on our way. All in all, we were very happy with our stay at Residenza Degli Arnaci, and would recommend it as a great base for exploring the region. Chris K. Calgary, Canada
