Great location, nice outdoor space and close to good restaurants
Great location, nice apartment with outdoor area. Comfortable 4 night stay, but we nearly left after first night as the noise from the bar/restaurant, that has tables and seating directly on the pavement beneath both bedroom windows was very loud until 2am. Contacted Paolo in morning who spoke to the bar owners and assured us this is uncommon, thankfully noise then reduced for remainder of stay - thanks Paolo. I do wish we had known this before booking, especially with young family. Location is really good, 5 min walk to Vatican, great restaurants near by and carrefour supermarket 10min walk. Liked outdoor space with seating. Needed to buy tea towels and washing up liquid etc for use during stay - would have been nice if these sort of essentials were provided, especially when only staying a few days. Apartment very secure and felt safe whilst staying there. WiFi was good. Met on arrival by accommodation agency rep, would have been better if he had ID as we had no idea who he was at first. He showed us around the apartment and was helpful - advised when mattress was going to be replaced and of contact details for the agency (leaving rooms).

Large lovely old apartment
I loved this place, so convenient to all buses and two steps away from the Vatican, beautiful outdoor patio to use, large rooms, very nice to be met by the owner , he was lovely

Centraal gelegen en comfortabel
Goede locatie, in niet al te drukke straat op loopafstand van bus metro en st Pieter.
Het appartement heeft twee aparte slaapkamers, keuken een kleine ruimte met bank en TV/Audio om even onderuit te zitten Bovendien is er terrasje achter het huis.

Lovely
My sister and I stayed in this lovely apartment for three days after a cruise. We loved it. Clean, well appointed and homey. Plenty of room. Kitchen has everything needed to cook if you care to and there are markets nearby to ship. With so many choices of restaurants nearby we only made breakfast and coffee in the apartment. Very close to Vatican City. Taxis across the street. We felt very safe and comfortable here. Paulo is a wonderful young man and met us on arrival. Available for questions and concerns before and during stay. Highly recommend. Hope to return someday. So much to see in Rome you really need more time than I realized.

Excellent
Excellent apartment which had everything you needed. Situated approximately 10 minute walk frim the Vatican.
Outside the apartment on the opposite side of the road there is a taxi rank, grocery shop and a little further up a coffee shop where we irdered fresh croissants every morning.
Resteraunt by the entrance to the apartment is highly recommended - not expensive but nice food.

We had a great time in Rome and Paulo's Il Limone had a lot to do with it. You basically can choose to stay in the Centro Storico area or on the Vatican side of the river which is where Paulo's apartment is located. 1 block from Saint Peter's Cathedral. We arrived on a Wednesday and wished we had known that the Pope often speaks at St. Peters on Wednesdays....we missed him by half an hour. Also an easy walk to the Vatican...we booked the 7:15 a.m. "Breakfast At the Vatican" which was a great way to go. Taxis are inexpensive in Roma...less than 10 euros from the apartment to the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain or the main train station. The apartment was clean and spacious. Paulo met us at the property, showed us how everything worked and recommended restaurants and things to see. Highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment and perfect location!
It was our first visit to Rome and we have chosen perfect place to stay. Beautiful, spacious apartment close to many attractions. Perfect pizza and delicious lasagna right across the street. Very friendly owner! Highly recommended!!

Liked it so much, we booked it again for a week
Title says it all. We booked this apartment for our Sep/Oct visit to Rome in 2017 and liked it, its location and its owner (Paolo) so much that we booked it again for a week prior to our Med cruise. Definitely would do so again.
High ceiling apartment has two large bedrooms, a living room, kitchen with eating area, bathroom and a private, comfortable courtyard with table and chairs, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine before dinner. Shower is small and a little quirky, but perfectly functional. Bedrooms and living room are air-conditioned.
Excellent location near Vatican, with multiple restaurants and small shops in the same block, along with a taxi stand. Within 10 more minutes by foot, there are dozens of other restaurants. Easy walk to the Vatican, the interesting and charming Borgos neighborhood and--still within walking distance to Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto, all of which we strongly recommend.

Wonderful place in the heart of Rome
