Old house as pictured. As others have said first floor bathroom (floor 0 in Italy) is small and has a shower head sticking out of the wall with no containment for the water. Everything in the room gets soaked.Narrow stairs to second floor. First bedroom has no wall separating the room from the staircase, only a curtain. Nothing to set your suitcase on and no drawers to store anything. Second bedroom has lots of storage. Both beds are very comfortable. Small kitchen in the hall. Living room has a table for the suitcase of the person sleeping in the first bedroom and comfortable chairs.. TV not working. Second bathroom is reasonably large and has a clothes washer that was not working while we were there. The tub/shower is dangerous. There is no shower curtain or any way to contain the water.The tub is deep and if you sit down to shower good luck getting up. If you stand to shower the bottom of the tub is narrow and curved. There is no grab bar. Never saw the owner as they use an agency for entry and departure. Did not get to use the terrace due to weather conditions but it is spacious with a rooftop view.Not a bad stay but could be improved by adding a shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom and a non slip mat in the tub. The location is excellent.

Très bien situé, juste au-dessus de la gare. Un peu éloigné du centre, mais Vernazza est très petite. le soir, après le départ des touristes d'un moment, détente autour d'un apéro, en toute ttranquillité! Mais nous y étions pendant les vacances d'automne, et on a quand même pu se baigner (température 21). Terrasse super! maison très agréable! Petit problème pour les français au petit déjeuner: cafetière pour 4 petites tasses! du coup, on devait refaire une cafetière pour chaque bol...

Location is perfect, away from the tourist crowds. A nice restaurant with early morning breakfast and Wi-Fi just steps away. Also a laundromat. Sleeps five comfortably. Only downside is there are no fans available, and my family was there during exceptionally high temperatures so it was difficult to sleep. However, the sound of the babbling brook coming in through the windows was very pleasant.

La maison est très agréable, parfaitement bien située à côté de la gare, des commerces et de la mer tout en étant légèrement en retrait du tumulte des touristes. Natalia a délégué la remise des clés à une agence locale, ce qui nous a permis de prendre possession des lieux malgré notre arrivée tardive. Nous avons largement profité de la grande terrasse sur le toit. Ce séjour était excellent: je recommande.

If you plan to spend some time in Vernazza, you really should consider this amazing condo. La Nave is conveniently located a short distance from the train station and away from the tourist crowds. It is a two story condo with an absolutely gorgeous rooftop patio. We, and the other couple we were traveling with, spent every evening on the patio, sipping wine before taking a short walk to a local restaurant. The perfect vacation stay. The main floor has a small sitting area and an even smaller bathroom. The second floor consists of a kitchen, main bathroom, two bedrooms. and a larger sitting area with patio doors to a small balcony. The rooftop patio is accessed by a narrow stairway in the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, all appliances worked flawlessly and the condo was very clean. I should mention that the main floor bathroom has a shower but no separate stall area. In other words, when you turn the shower on, the entire bathroom gets wet. It is designed this way and really is not a problem but some people might be surprised by the setup. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the smaller bedroom has a curtain across the door. This did not prove to be a problem with privacy or noise. All in all, we would definitely recommend this beautiful condo for you stay in Vernazza

We had a very relaxing stay in Vernazza. The place is a bit more compact than expected with access to the upstairs and terrace via steep stairs. The kitchen was useful and the location is very nice, located up the street away from the train station, that can be busy at times. Everything is a only a short walk away, including some nice places to eat. There is no Wi-Fi but cell reception in town is very good.

The location of La Nave was perfect, as it was away from the streams of tourists which come to Vernazza mid-day, but close to everything including the train station. We enjoyed our stay very much and loved Vernazza.

Comfortable if more compact than expected. Very close to the station, shops, walking tracks and harbour; everything is within 5 or 10 minutes walk. One bedroom only has a curtain for privacy which could be an issue for some. The layout is unusual and the 'ensuite' bathroom is really a wet room off the downstairs living area. It works with hot water aplenty but it's not really an ensuite. The other bathroom upstairs is large and functional. No wifi but the cafe literally 50m up the street had free wifi so not a problem. The laundromat is also about 50m up the street so very handy. We had bad weather but the house was warm and dry.

Un très bon point pour la situation de cette maison à la fois très proche de tous commerces et de la plage, et en même temps un peu en retrait de l'activité pour plus de tranquillité. La conception originale et la décoration soignée donnent un charme indéniable à ce lieu. La grande terrasse sur le toit permet de profiter pleinement de l'extérieur même si l'escalier peut devenir un exercice un peu sportif pour certain ! L'accueil est excellent et Natalina et son mari sont disponibles et très sympathiques. Ne pas hésiter à réserver suffisamment longtemps pour profiter pleinement des nombreuses activités de ce magnifique parc national des cinq terre et pour goûter à la dolce vita.

We were very happy with the location and setting of the apartment. Very close to the train station, so you don't have to drag your bags a long way or up some stairs! Natalia and Peter were very friendly, they met us at the train station and showed us the apartment and where to eat etc. We enjoyed the terrace of course! And Vernazza is a fantastic base to explore Cinque Terre, small and convenient.
