Loft Casa Aurora is a comfortable apartment in a quiet area of Venice. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, plus close to vaporetto stop. Apartment is clean, well looked after and a super base for a few days in this lovely city. Friendly owner lives on floor below so access at start of stay was smooth. Quick response to communication throughout booking process.

We stayed for 5 nights at Loft Casa Aurora for our wonderful vacation in Venice. The apartment is in a great location - a quiet area in Cannaregio but only two streets away from lots of bars and restaurants. And not too far to walk to the Grand Canal and all the major sights. But the best secret is a 5 minute walk without any stairs to the closest vaporetto stop where you can catch the boat to the train station or the airport. Makes it easy when you have luggage. The apartment has a very well equipped kitchen - we bought groceries at the local Prix supermarket and enjoyed eating at home as well as going out. Giovanna welcomed us and gave us very useful advice on the vaporetto tickets. This apartment was a pleasure to stay in and made us feel like we were living in Venice. Highly recommend as a great value way to experience Venice.

We love the apartment. It is located in a nice quiet place away from the noisy touristy area. We never had a problem getting around. The Vaporetto is just around the corner. Everything is very convenient.

I really love this location it wasn't loaded with a lot of people one of the oldest sections of town it looked like. Small quaint rooms clean I felt like it was a really easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go

The apartment is clean, spacious and in a very quiet neighborhood. Just cross two small canals and there is a street with lots of bars and restaurants. Very walkable. The owners live on the second floor and the apartment is above. Great place to get away from the crowds.

A clean cool spacious apartment for two. Great location away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice, but 5 minutes from local bars and restaurants on the misericorda.

From the moment we met Giovanna as she waved to us from her window, I instantly felt relaxed. Walking through the door of the apartment was like being welcomed to your Grandmother's home. It is beautifully quaint and a truely unique place to stay. Sitting in the quiet neighborhood it was the perfect place for 3 nights for two of us. We took a day trip to the islands of Mazzorbo, Burano and Murano with a €20 day ticket based on advice from Giovanna and had a wonderful time. The apartment has a fully contained kitchen and clothes washing machine. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a great supply of hot water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, in fact the best sleep I've had in 3 weeks traveling was here at Loft Casa Aurora. There are other apartments in the same building but everyone is respectful of noise and privacy. There are plenty of local bars and restaurants to cater for every taste and budget close by. If arriving by train you can take the vaporetto 4.2 or 5.2, we arrived on the day of a general strike so walked the 20 minutes to the apartment. The bridges over the canals were a challenge with our suitcases but we managed to do it ok and we're in our 50's. I'm definitely saving to come back to Venice and will stay here again.

We love this place. It was located in a very quiet part of Venice in the Canareggio district. Very convenient to Murano, Burano, Torcello and Mazzorbo. Nice places to visit around Venice. Enjoyed our stay tremendously and really appreciated the city so much. Giovanna is a lovely host. Everything is very expertly organized. All the information literally at your finger tips. Will definitely want to stay here again. I highly recommend staying at this place.

Giovanna’s place is just perfect for 2 people. First- the location was ideal. One stop from the airport on the Alilaguna boat and you are there- a short walk away. The canal here is broad enough to create a nice, airy ‘street’. But it is the top of Cannaregio, so a bit away from hustle and bustle. Still, so close to all you need - reastaurants, grocery, bakery- perfect. This was especially nice because Venice can feel so crowded with tourists- but at Angela’s place, you felt the real neighborhood with local folks going about their daily lives. And at night- soooo quiet! Yet you could walk less than 5 minutes to all the activity and services you might need. The apartment is on the third floor, which we loved because it was light and airy- with shutters to block the sun if you want to sleep in. The kitchen is nicely appointed- quite new, with all the basics (coffee, sugar). The bathroom is a very nice size, with a large marble counter top- plenty of room for toiletries, and the tub is deep though not very long- still was delightful for a short soak. The linens on the bed and towels were very nice. The house very clean and ordered. The only improvement needed is additional pillows for sleeping. There are only two, and they are thin. We had to use our airplane bolsters for additional height and that wasn’t very comfortable. Still, I will never forget the sound of the church bells (next door) in the morning, with the sun streaming on the canal. It was just lovely. I recommend to any friends going to Venice!!!
