... non ancora aperto, in ristrutturazione. Ottima location.!
... ero curioso e trovandomi a Cortona ho voluto vedere di persona. Il Villino di Cortona è una bella casa vacanze situata a pochi Km dall'uscita A1 Valdichiana. I proprietari stanno ultimando un notevole lavoro di ristrutturazione. Il risultato è già notevole e certamente al termine delle opere la struttura sarà di qualità eccellente.
Ottima la location: 10 Km da Cortona.

Cortona e dintorni
Vicinissimo a Cortona. Ideale anche per raggiungere Montepulciano, Pienza e Montalcino. Struttura nuovissima. Offre confort e piacere.

Cortona, magnifica cittadina.!
Casa vacanze, vicinissima a Cortona. Sono in corso i lavori di ristrutturazione. La casa e l'ambiente circostante promettono soggiorni indimenticabili.

Vacanza bella e rilassante. Youssef,Elisa e Tommy
Il villino è molto bello, è appena restaurato e il lavoro è stato fatto con cura e gusto.
E' dotato di ogni comfort:
-televisore nel salotto/cucina e in ogni camera,
-impianto stereo con radio e lettore cd
-cucina attrezzata con piano cottura, frigorifero capiente, forno, lavastoviglie, con tutte le stoviglie e gli utensili necessari,
-aria condizionata in tutti gli ambienti,
-2 bagni con piatto doccia grandi,
-camera matrimoniale grande con armadio capiente,
-asciugamani e lenzuola,
-lavanderia ben attrezzata con lavatrice, asse e ferro da stiro, stendino e giochi per la piscina. In poche parole non manca nulla!!!
All' esterno troverete un bel giardino ampio curato, una veranda con sedie e tavolo dove fare colazione o consumare i pasti, troverete il posto per l'auto coperto con vicino i giochi per bambini, le biciclette e il barbecue e la piscina. La piscina è molto bella (di notte s'illumina stupenda per chi vuole fare il bagno alla sera o solo per godersi l'atmosfera) ed è dotata di solarium ampio, di sdrai e ombrelloni, dal solarium si può godere di una vista stupenda sulla vallata, sulle colline che circondano la casa e si intravede poco distante Cortona (cittadina molto bella da visitare arroccata sul fianco della collina).
La posizione è perfetta per rilassarsi e recuperare le energie, il posto è tranquillo immerso nel verde. Ma è anche perfetta per fare escursioni e gite alla scoperta di questo magnifico pezzo di toscana, si possono visitare Cortona, Montepulciano, il lago Trasimeno, siti e tombe etrusche, Siena, Perugia, Arezzo, le Cascate delle Marmore (eccezionali), le Grotte di Frasassi. Per chi ama fare delle camminate, dal Villino partono tante strade bianche dove non passano praticamente auto.
I proprietari sono gentili, affabili e discreti, attenti al dettaglio nell'arredare, nella pulizia e nella cura degli ambienti.
Siamo stati molto bene, dunque ve lo consigliamo!!!

Il Villino è veramente splendido, così come il posto, immerso nel verde e punto di partenza perfetto per visitare Cortona, Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano e le località del Trasimeno.
La pulizia, la comodità e i servizi offerti dal casolare, tutto nuovo e confortevole, uniti alla cordialità e disponibilità dei proprietari, hanno reso le nostre settimane di vacanza davvero speciali!
Ottimo sia per chi desidera trascorrere giorni nel relax più totale, tra un tuffo in piscina e una cena in giardino, sia per chi intende usare il villino come 'base' da cui partire per visite turistiche in terra toscana.
Massima soddisfazione!
Consigliato per: Persone di età 55+, Accoglienza animali, Gite turistiche, Famiglie con bambini piccoli

Exceeded expectations - high spec traditional Villa
In breif - a beautiful villa, great value and we hope to return!
In detail -
We missed our motorway exit (entirely our fault - enjoying the views and not reading the signs!) but DON'T miss it - you have to travel for miles before the next exit. However Michelle kept in touch with us and waited for us at the Motorway exist to guide us straight to the Villa - he was friendly and welcoming and not at all annoyed that we were so late.
On arrival at the Villa we were delighted by the quality finish of the exterior and interior, and surprised by hotel level finishing touches including robes, slippers, shampoo etc - you could travel here on hand luggage as they provide everything you need bar clothing!
It has some houses around but still maintains a lot of privacy and the views of the valley are beautiful. It's on a quiet lane but very accessible from the main roads meaning you can access lots of beautiful Tuscan towns on day trips, and it's a short drive to the 4th largest lake in Italy which has Kite surfing, pedaloes etc. There is some road noise but it was barely noticable.
The Villa is situated in a spacious plot with a lovely pool, at a depth of 1m - 2m, there's a covered terrace to retreat from the baking sun and a big BBQ for evening meals. It is surrounded by a working farm so there's some noise from horses and vintage tractors - but this only lasts till mid morning as they finish before the heat of the day and it was wonderful to see a true Tuscan setting - we even saw new born foal! beautiful.
The kitchen is small but adequate and Michelle kindly provided cleaning materials, dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder, toilet rolls etc so that you didn't have a costly shop on arrival (unlike our Thompson holiday Villa where there wasn't even washing up liquid).
The bedrooms are lovely, with fantastic ensuites, spacious, clean and well designed and unusually lots and lots of wardrobe space! :)
Shops - 15 Drive to Carmica. Deli shops and Spa Shop.
VISIT CORTONA! 20 min drive - beautiful!! less well known than Voltera but in our opinion the favourite hill top village in Tuscany, charming!
Car hire essential.
We hope to return next year and highly reccommend.

Beautifull holiday house
From the moment we made contact with the owner Mr. Michele Salvietti, we had a good feeling about this place. The owner is very friendly and gives you all the information you need, so don't be afraid to ask him what you want/need to know. When we arrived, Mr. Michele waited for us at the exit of the motorway, which is near by. The location is excellent as a fall out base for many visits to beautiful cities in the neighbourhood : Perugia, Siena, Montepulciano, Assisi... & of course the lovely Cortona as the nearest. The house itself is a dream! It was renovated some two years ago and is now in a outstanding condition. You can find all the comfort you need here and more : 2 bathrooms, fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, wifi, BBQ, bathrobes, bikes, washing machine... During our stay, it was daily about 35° C, but you have airconditioning in all rooms. And when we arrived, everything was fresh & clean. It couldn't have been better! The outside swimming pool is a beauty! The owner will make sure that it is clean during the visit, so he comes by once and a while when necessairy. You ask him anything you want to know & need, he's most kind. Because the house is near a motorway, which is an excellent base to start your visits, you may hear some noise during the evening/night. That the only reason why we should rate it 4 and a half stars in stead of 5. But we'll definitely come back!

Splendida location, splendida vacanza!
Il villino di Cortona e' davvero meraviglioso, curatissimo il giardino, piscina splendida (non vi dico di notte quando e' illuminata, che spettacolo), fantastiche grigliate in giardino, biciclette a disposizione, Michele gentilissimo! Cosa volere di piu'? Solo una cosa, tornarci presto!

Excellent place to stay
Fabulous holiday destination. Michele can't do enough to accommodate. Great place, pool is fantastic. Lots of little extras making it almost hotel quality. 5* Only slight quibble, living space not quite enough for four.
Cortona is a wonderful place to visit and plenty of restaurants to eat at.

Beautiful house!
We've been with our two kids in "Il Villino"-house. Very beautiful house, very clean. The house look like on the pictures, exactly the same! The kids were thrilled about the pool and the weather was good though. Michele was so nice and we could ask him everything. He came to pick us up from the moroway, so it was very easy to find the house for the first time. But even though the drive was easy. Cortona is very nice. We had dinner at the Loggiata and Nessum Dorma, excellent food and nice people!!
Michele did a great job, he cleaned the pool every day very early in the morning so we didn't hear him at all. Sometimes we found "post" on the doorway with free tickets and brochures from Sites to see arround Cortona. Michele and his wife were also cleaning the house after the week (we stayed two weeks) and we had new sheets, towels, etc.
We had a lovely time there ;))
