We had an amazing time staying in Andrea and Giulietta’s apartment. The place is beautiful and quiet and well-equipped and the views are stunning. Andrea and Giulietta were very welcoming and helpful. We’d happily rent from them again.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und das nicht ohne Grund: uns gefällt das fantastische Anwesen auf einem Hügel unweit von San Gimignano mit seinem Pool inmitten von Olivenbäumen, mit dem vor allem frühmorgens und abends überwältigenden Ausblick auf die umliegenden Täler und Hügel und seiner trotz der zentralen Lage in der Toskana himmlischen Ruhe ganz besonders gut. Zum überaus positiven Eindruck trägt vor allem aber die sehr angenehme und freundliche Betreuung durch das Gastgeberehepaar bei. Giulietta und Andrea sind stets unaufdringlich, aber immer da, wenn sie braucht. Die Wohnung ist gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man braucht. Das Bad ist modern und neu. Auch die Betten sind gut. Die Wohnung liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe von San Gimignano. Siena, Florenz, Volterra, Pienza, Montepulciano usw. sind gut erreichbar. Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Nous avons passé une semaine à LA PRODA. L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, les petits cadeaux de bienvenue, les attentions diverses et variées ont jalonné notre séjour. L'appartement est très bien équipé et très joliment décoré. La piscine et le corps de ferme avec une vue magnifique à deux pas de SAN GIMIGNANO le magnifique. Je recommande fortement et nous y reviendrons certainement.

We spent 12 nights at Podere La Proda and were very impressed. It is in a beautiful setting surrounded by olive and cypress trees. The bells of San Gimignano were audible. We had some lovely day trips to Pisa (where we flew into), Florence, Siena (my favourite), Vinci (my boys' favourite) and Volterra. The weather was very hot when we went in late July so we were very glad to have the pool to cool down in after our day trips. The apartment is cool (comparatively), well equipped and beautifully designed. We also enjoyed cooking in the BBQ area with the perfect views of the valley and vineyards. The mosquitoes are a bit of a problem, but the apartment does have nets at the windows which helps. Bring some repellent though for high summer. Andrea and Guillietta are absolutely charming and very helpful. We hope to return another time.

We have just returned from an Italian adventure made all the better with our stay at Prodere La Proda. Andrea and Guiliette were the perfect hosts. We really appreciated the beautiful Olive oil and wine and all of their advice on the surrounding area. They helped us out with a mosquito problem and that was the only annoying bit, tiger mosquitoes, ouch, . The pool was amazing, refreshing on a hot day, with beautiful views and lovely shade under the olive trees. Our children loved spying all the butterflies and local wildlife, including the 2 resident cats. We took a day trip to Cortona but loved San Giminango, especially in the evenings when the crowds had gone. Best ice cream in the Piazza on the right, Dondolis. The apartment has been beautifully refurbished and was very comfortable and the the best bit for me was the bed linen and towels smelled absolutely beautiful. We definately hope to return one day to beautiful Tuscany. Thank you again Andrea and Guiliette for a wonderful holiday. Ciao

We were a family of 4 (2 adult children) and had an absolutely wonderful time here. We were welcomed so kindly by Guilietta and Andrea who were lovely and helpful throughout. The apartment is delightful and perfect for everything you need The setting is breath-takingly beautiful with views across the Tuscan hills and in a great position for San Gimignano. There is a lovely spot where you can relax and watch the sun go down, a great BBQ area and the pool was a very good size, surrounded by mature olive trees which offer fabulous natural shade. This place is so tranquil and peaceful and teeming with birds, butterflies and pollinating insects. One night we heard what we think were boars calling to each other across the valley. Florence is an hours drive away and we used the new park and ride (tram) scheme which was really easy. All in all a perfect place for us, thank you Andrea and Guilietta!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa, only a few minutes ride from the magical San Geminiano. the apparent was beautiful, well furnished, and clean. although the pool is shared with 3 other apartments, we practically had it to ourselves. the hosts were generous and kind (I still have a bottle of delicious olive oil of their private produce!). the views are incredible. can't wait to come back :)

Wonderful apartment , exquisite view, clean, great kitchen, loved the pool, and close to San gimgnano, a lovely town with fine restaurants, shops and great gelato ! Highlight of,our trip to Italy.

This place is a gem. I booked it for my mother, aunt, and cousin, for a week-long stay at the beginning of September. Andrea and Julietta (I hope I got that right) were very kind and accommodating. The apartment itself was perfectly furnished; simple and tasteful, spacious enough for the four of us. I specifically love the exposed wooden structure and the brick arch in the kitchen. We of course felt very secure, especially with those heavy, red doors at the entrance! The pool and surrounding lounge area is a perfect spot to spend a relaxing day. We didn't plan on a day off to just lounge, but I would highly recommend doing that for at least half of a day! The terracotta paved overlook, which also houses the grill, is the best place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. It's just so beautiful here, I really can't say enough good things. You're about 10 minutes walking from the edge of San Gimignano. If you're a person who likes to walk, this is especially nice since you'll probably want to put in a few steps after all of the gelato and pasta! And San Gim has one of the best gelato places in the world so definitely go there (Gelateria Dondoli). Volterra and Cortona are not far to drive, and those were our favorite medieval towns. Florence is about an hour away. Go early and park for free at the Piazzale Michangelo. I loved it here and am already trying to figure out when I can come back!

La Proda fulfilled all of our expectations and then some! Great location, wonderful hosts and a property that is wonderfully maintained. Highly recommended! I would return in a heartbeat :)
