I originally booked the apartment in 2021 for 3-nights but for obvious reasons we could not travel so Nina very kindly transferred our booking to June this year. I am so glad that she did. Prior to our visit, communication with Nina was excellent and I can honestly say that her guide to Zermatt and the apartment with hints and tips was the best I have ever received before we have arrived somewhere. The location of the apartment is about a 5-10 minute walk downhill back to the town but as there are no cars (only little electric buggies) in Zermatt, it is incredibly quiet. The views! The description is not an exaggeration. From both the bedroom and living area the Matterhorn is centre stage and watching the light change the colour of mountain throughout the day was fascinating. The apartment is on the third floor (with lift) and is incredibly well designed. The kitchen may be small but it has literally everything you could possibly need so we ate in the apartment each evening, enjoying our meal on the balcony (Co-op is well stocked)... looking at the Matterhorn. The bed was comfortable and the shower strong with plenty of hot water. The internet was also very good and I especially liked the little office area with all the bits and bobs you can think of in the drawer. We used the washing machine and dryers downstairs which were very efficient as we were half way round our tour of Switzerland. To summarise, the apartment is in an excellent and quiet location in Zermatt. It is a good size and the views really are amazing. Nina is a a very good and thoughtful host - so stop looking at other places and book Haus Roc right now - we'd love to return one day - thank you Nina.

My wife and I recently spent 10 nights in this superb apartment. We were very fortunate with the weather as it was gloriously sunny every day but cold enough to preserve the snow for skiing. An added bonus was waking up every morning to a breathtaking view of the majestic Matterhorn. Should we decide to return Zermatt then we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed on this beautiful condo for our winter ski vacation in January. The host was a pleasure and the condo was clean, with spectacular views, equipped with everything you need you.. but most importantly did I mention the views?! The building is about 700 meters from the Sunnega elevator’s station. If this is your first time Zermatt has no virtually ski-in ski-out. So this is the best you get. There is a ski closet and boot in the building we opted to leave our skis at the locker at the station to avoid the every day logging up/down hills or staircases. There is a restaurant Chez Heini (truly recommend) right outside, store about 8min walk and you can reach town (church and village) around 10min. Our host was so nice and thoughtful, provides many recommendations to welcomes baskets. Everything is quaint and purposely decorated. I’d recommend and definitely stay again! When we take this long trips it is vastly important to have people who enrich that place, experience and impact your memories in the most pleasant ways, this was our stay at Haus Roc at Nina’s apartment.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor and you get breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and the beautiful little village of Zermatt. Its 1 bedroom, has a pullout couch in the living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom & plenty of space in closets for your things. 4 people would be very comfortable staying here. The laundry is on the bottom floor & was a bit of a challenge since there were no instructions in English and there’s only certain days to use it. It’s a quick 7 minute walk into town where there’s lots of shops & restaurants. Nina recommended & made reservations for us at a great place, “Le Chalet” which is just down the hill. The lamb osso bucco was to die for! Beware of the complimentary after dinner drink of “Grappa” very strong, it took us by surprise. Lovely night & meal. Make sure you visit the museum & take a day trip up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, 360 view that is stunning! Ladies, leave the dresses & heels at home. It’s very comfortable & laidback here, jeans, shirts, sweaters & comfortable shoes or hiking boots are the norm. All in all, this is a lovely place to stay & Nina is very helpful to make sure you have a great time. BIG 5 STARS! Linda Roe & Patricia Crossley

We have just returned from 4 nights at Haus Roc. Beautiful Swiss decor (loved the cuckoo clock), amazing view from balcony, extremely comfortable and homely. Really well equipt- we cooked 2 good meals in the evening with no problems. Short walk slightly uphill from the station and village centre. Possible to do with luggage if you are so minded (or get a taxi). The owner is very friendly, helpful and generous. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This rental was excellent in every aspect! The location was perfect, and not too far from the main train station. Electric taxis are available from the station if you need one, but we chose to walk (which took less than ten minutes). The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and well organized. The Nespresso coffee maker was great to have, and we enjoyed relaxing in the mornings with coffee and a view of the Matterhorn! The views of the mountain from the apartment were absolutely stunning! Anything you could possibly need was available in the apartment. There are labels on the cupboards describing the contents, so it was easy to find whatever you were looking for. The kitchen and dining room were very well equipped for cooking if you'd like to do so, but there are also so many wonderful restaurants nearby! All of our interactions with the owner before and during our stay were friendly and professional. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for providing a wonderful "home" for visitors to Zermatt!

Avec ma fille et mon petit-fils, je viens de passer une excellente semaine à Zermatt. Le soleil, les lumières automnales ont sublimé ce séjour dans ce petit appartement très confortable. Il est bien situé, non loin de la gare, dans un endroit très calme. La vue sur le Cervin est magnifique et nous avons pu profité du balcon ensoleillé l'après- midi. Cet endroit est parfait pour partir en promenade alentours ou pour rejoindre en quelques minutes les gares pour le Gornergrat ou le petit Cervin. Un lit et une chaise de bébé étaient à disposition. Nous avons trouvé tout ce qui était nécessaire pour cuisiner. Le lit est très confortable et nous avons trouvé toutes les informations nécessaires pour utiliser la tv, le four, la douche,.....

This apartment is fully equipped, nicely furnished, in a wonderful location and has a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. It is steps away from great restaurants and an easy walk into the town center. This is the second time we've rented for a week and would highly recommend it!

Trevligt, rent boende med allt du kan önska dig. Redan vid bokningen fick vi jättefin kontakt med Elena (Nina) som hjälpte till med allt och gav massor av tips på saker att göra och uppleva i Zermatt, Läget är högt och ger en fin utsikt över Matterhorn. Ett par hundra meter till Sunegga-liften eller till skidbussen till Matterhorn Express-liftarna. Tyvärr ägnade vi dagarna åt skidåkning så vi hann inte riktigt med att njuta av den soliga balkongen. Allt man kan behöva finns redan och skafferierna är välfyllda med kryddor, te och oljor. Dessutom stod en bricka med pasta, pastasås, choklad, vin, snacks och kaffe och väntade på oss när vi steg in i den rena och prydliga lägenheten. Till och med när våra barn tyckte att bädsoffan var lite obekväm ordnade Nina fram en extra madrass för att ge oss högsta möjliga service. Kan därför inget annat än att högt rekommendera detta boende.

This apartment is superb. Very well equipped and in a good location. We had very good communication with Elena and she was very helpful. The basket on arrival was an added bonus.
