A spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed private apartment with garden access in Amsterdam.
The bedroom has a double bed 160/200cm (or two separate beds 80x200cm) and in the sitting room is a very comfortable couch which can be turned into a bed of 160/200cm. The couch can also be turned into two separate beds (80x200 cm) or half bed and half couch. The luxurious bathroom has towel heating, hairdryer and necessities.
The rooms are separated by a sliding door.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave/oven, tea and nespresso, egg boiler, toaster and a dining space for 4. French doors open to the garden where you can sit and relax on a private terrace - weather permitting.
The apartment has a TV/DVD, a computer and printer and free Wifi. There are a select...

Lovely little apartment, equipped with everything you need in a
Marit and Victor were very caring in advance and during the stay. From organizing a parking permit before we arrived, through setting up a baby bed, putting flowers on the kitchen table and a bottle of wine in the fridge, we felt welcomed from the first minute and enjoyed our stay.
The apartment is as described on their website, very stylish and charming at the same time. We found everything we needed. Especially the little terrace and the backyard invite to relaxe during the summertime.
The neigbhborhood is very friendly with a little bar at the end of the street and a grocery store just around the block. City center is easy to reach by tram line #9 within 10 minutes.
Overall, we had a perfect four day stay and will definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. Thanks for having us, Julia, Michael and little Jakob

comfort, flowers, garden, cute interior :)
Great appartments! lots of lighted cute interior, flowers, cozy garden, coffe-machine, dish-washing machine...etc. Everything to make our stay in amsterdam comfortable - and we do thing so!
Marit and Victor are very caring and friendly couple, maybe sometimes we'll stay at the Guestroom ones again :)
And one more thing...neighborhood on queens-days looks like a picture from "Alice in Wonderland"...you should see it by yourself)

feel at home also in amsterdam
We have appreciated so much stay at the Gurstroom! very clean and well furnished with all the staff a traveler need:you can arrive there and feel like at home because everything you need is already there!Also Nespresso machine is in, further than microwave, washing machine, hair drier..!Just perfect and everything worked as expected!

Perfect place in the perfect place
We instantly fell in love with this unique stylish yet cozy apartment.
It has everything you need, fully equiped kitchen, bathroom and the most comfortable bed you could imagine. It also has access to the cute back yard where you can smoke.
Everything was brandnew and spotless.
The apartment is located in the south-east of amsterdam and a little outside of the center. We liked it becuase it's a little off the usual tourist routes and therefore gives you a more atuhentic taste of the real amsterdam. There are cute cafes and restaurants in the area and a nice park just around the corner. Fifteen to twenty minutes to the center by tram. Marit and Victor are very sweet and super helpful.
We'll be keeping it in mind for future trips to amsterdam.

Very good experience
We recently stayed at the Guestroom. We were a family of 4, including two college aged sons. This location was perfect in many ways: it is in a neighborhood that contains a small pub (steps away), a grocery store, butcher, wine shop, and nearby tram stop, and a very peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself is very clean, offers modern amenities and access to a lovely garden. If we can, we will stay there again. By far the best attribute of the location are the hosts, Victor and Marit. You are staying in their home, but are offered a very private experience. Spend some time assuring the bedding will fit your needs.

Highly Recommended
My husband and I came to stay at the guestroom for a weekend to rest and relax as we were childfree for 2 days! I chose the guestroom as the reviews I saw seemed very positive and they weren't wrong. The apartment is in a lovely quiet street 5 minutes walk from the tram and the shops. The apartment is clean, modern and extremely comfortable. The little extras were such a lovely touch and made our stay that much more pleasurable. We would both highly recommend the bar on the corner as well, the food, ambience and bar staff was top class. Thank you Marit and Victor!

comfortable and wonderful teaste
the orner is polite , and friendly . the flat is clean , with good teaste faniture and artiful pictures on walls . although it takes a little bit time from amsterdam central by tram , there is wonderful restaurant near the flat, that is De Kas

The time spent in amsterdam was absolutely perfect and lovely, and thanks to Marit and Victor to be so kind, the apartment is so nice , quiet and perfect to fell like "amsterdamer", so many thanks to have been so nice, we would recommend your place to all of our friends.

Gorgeous, clean and well appointed!
My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at The Guesthouse last weekend. Amsterdam was very busy and we struggled to find anywhere to stay. I stumbled across this little place and was thrilled it was available and that we didn't manage to get in any where else!
It is very easy to jump on a tram into the Old Town but we walked which is a nice stroll and we could take in lots of the sights. The surrounding area of The Guestroom is very nice too.
The accommodation itself was faultless. The flat was immaculately clean and we had milk, coffee, wine and fruit on arrival which was very thoughtful and welcoming. The flat was very quiet and we slept perfectly in the comfy bed and dark and peaceful room.
We only wish there wasn't so much to see and do in Amsterdam so we could have spent more time at The Guesthouse, we will definitely be going back!
