Beautiful apartment in a quiet location
The apartment in Salgados is perfect. Very spacious with the balcony overlooking lovely views of the pools. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need. Antonio and Dalia were very welcoming. The resort itself is so serene in October having the pool to ourselves more often than not with the poolside bar serving really lovely food.
We also made use of the NAU Dunas suites opposite that offer a delicious buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. We look forward to staying again next year.

Stunning Apartment
We stayed at Antony’s apartment for 2 weeks. My wife and I.
It is amongst the grounds of Palm trees and apartments, with a supermarket and the beach in walking distance.
The apartment itself was first class. It was fully equipped with all the mod cons that you will need. The view from the main living area is gorgeous.
Additionally, everything in the apartment was clean and well maintained. It is a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time and we would stay in this apartment again.
We stayed as a couple of 2, however this property would easily suit 4 people as it has 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
A guy called Joao checked us in and was available via WhatsApp to help us with information on the area and the apartment. He always responded really quickly.
We really appreciate it.

Langzeiturlaub mit allem Komfort
Wir waren 6 Wochen in dieser schönen Wohnung, um dem kalten nassen Winter in Deutschland zu entfliehen. Bei sehr angenehm trockenem und mildem Wetter haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche war exzellent ausgestattet, sodass das Kochen eine Freude war. Zwei zum großen Balkon ausgerichtete bequeme Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder waren gut ausreichend für uns vier Erwachsene. Der schöne Wohn- Essbereich hatte ebenfalls den Blick in den grünen und gepflegten Poolbereich, Palmen direkt vor dem Balkon. Bequemer Aufzug zum 2. Stock!.
Die Anlage insgesamt war so gut wie menschenleer und die Pools, da ungeheizt, eine Augenweide, aber zum Schwimmen zu kalt. Das Hallenbad und die benachbarte Hotelanlage NAU waren geschlossen. Im Januar versinkt ein großer Teil der Algarve in Winterschlaf, viele Restaurants sind zu und es gibt nur wenig organisierte Aktivitäten. Wenn einen das nicht stört, und man zur Ruhe kommen möchte und einsame Spaziergänge an der wunderschönen Algarveküste liebt, dann ist auch der Januar eine gute Reisezeit. Im Februar fängt die Mandelblüte an, und zum Karneval belebt sich das Land wieder mehr.
Die wöchentlich einmal erscheinende Reinigungskraft hat Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt sowie die Wohnung jeweils gut gereinigt. Dafür waren allerdings WÖCHENTLICH noch einmal je 75€ zu zahlen, was erst bei genauem Studium des Kleingedruckten deutlich wurde.
Wer beabsichtigt, zum Überwintern in dieses Apartment zu ziehen, sollte wissen, dass es sehr gut zu heizen ist. Andererseits geht der große Balkon nach Südosten, sodass ab 12.30 keine Sonne mehr in die Wohnung scheint.
In der warmen Jahreszeit ist das natürlich ein großer Vorteil!
Wir empfehlen unbedingt einen Mietwagen für die gesamte Zeit. Das WiFi funktionierte super, im Fernsehen gab es leider nur 2 deutsche Programme (RTL und S-RTL), aber viele internationale Kanäle.
Wir wurden von dem Hausverwalter Joao freundlich betreut. Er hat uns besonders in den ersten Tagen gut beim Einleben geholfen. Die Kaution wurde uns nach Ende der Reise zügig zurückerstattet.

Great holydays at Salgados Beach
We had a Great Time in the Appartement! The Appartement was well equiped inclusive a Garage for my rental car and a Short way to the Beach and the Golf Court. We had a Nice view to the Swimmingpool. Thank You!

Perfect - great time for young family
I loved my holiday staying in the apartment. My Wife and 2yr old son had a great time. Big comfortable living conditions overlooking pools and walk to beach.
The appt.
Its hard to describe the complex as they do not appear to be homes nor hotel sort of middle ground. Arrived quite late and the owner had left some bread and cheese which was a nice touch as it was not expected.
I have stayed in a number of holiday apartments and in the majority of times the immediate reaction is a little disappointed as there has been artistic license with the photo's (made to look bigger etc.) However in this case the opposite was true the photo's do not do it justice. The apartment is as nice as the photo's show -comfortable living room with Cable TV (with some English channels), fast WIFI and kitchenette. it was really comfortable, my son sleeps for a couple of hours during the day and bed at about 730 so it was important to have a space where we could relax in the meantime and this really delivered.
Area-
the complex has loads of pools and we sent a couple of hours a day by the smaller child pool. It was May so there was us and a handful of families there only (bit busier at the weekend). Very clean well organized, there were loads of empty sun loungers so perhaps it gets busier during School holidays. Could not ask for more (... perhaps a childs play area)
Short walk to the beach (adjoining wetlands) miles of lovely sand, the waves could be quite forceful but we enjoyed this. One beach restaurant for drinks and snacks - Evening meals could be expensive but snacks were not extortionate. You can hire boats etc if necessary. Lifeguard in attendance and clean, could nto ask for more.
We hired a car and without it you may need to get Taxi or your eating / drinking may be restricted. As it was we drove no longer than 20 mins for food and had a great many options. We are not interested in Bars or clubs in the evening (prefer a bottle of wine in the apt) but if I was this would be the only "down side" of the location. We did the open top bus tour and it made me happier we decided to stay in Salgados over some of the busier towns (Albufeira etc.). If you are going for day trips / food I would suggest going west towards Armacao rather than east.
Had a couple of issues (not the owners fault) and the responsiveness of the agent (Joao) was superb.
If you want a relaxing break with the family this place can not be beaten, I really struggle to come up with anything that could improve the visit. I can see myself coming back and I do not normally wish to return to the same place. Five Stars!

Beautiful appartment at a great location
A beautiful, clean and modern appartment that contains everything you need! The location is very close to the beach and Albufeira is about 10 minutes drive. Joao's reception was great and communication with both Anthony and Joao was also very pleasant. They thought of everything and were available throughout the week in case of questions. The park is well-kept and the pools are all great. In short: an ideal place for a wonderful vacation!

Incredible holidays
Magnificent 5 star apartment. Very modern in all aspects, equipped with fantastic furniture. It is located just 5 minutes away from the beach and gold course. The resort complex is also incredible, has lots of pools, a bar which serves food and you also have lovely restaurants in the area. Antonio was always very helpful and kind. Totally recommend!!!!

Excellent modern apartment, overlooking the pool and bar. Very well furnished and equipped, nice clean comfy beds. Wifi and some English channels on the TV.
The complex is huge and has several pools and a supermarket for essentials is nearby.
A number of restaurants within a 15/20 pleasant walk, some right on the beach. Hotels with restaurants right next door. Wooden walkways take you to the beach and the whole area is spotlessly clean. You can also get a bus to go to nearby Albuferia. Bellavita Restaurant serves excellent pizza and pasta, a must to try. The area is away from all the noise and nightlife, which suited us. A car is probably needed if you want to explore more. Golf at the nearby golf club is very good and the bar also does very good meals.
There is s large supermarket nearby that stocks everything you need at competitive prices.
A lovely place to relax, rest and soak up the beautiful sunsets!

Moderno apartamento com otimo condominio
O apartamento é moderno , funcional , muito amplo , com destaque para a varanda que se extende acompanhando a sala e os quartos . De onde se tem uma vista maravilhosa das piscinas e bosques . O condomínio é muito bem cuidado , os funcionários gentis e prestativos. Nos sentimos , de imediato , felizes com a nossa escolha e muito bem acomodados.

Tiguan Experience 2016
Visited this hotel for the VW Tiguan launch and hotel was fantastic. Incredible facilities for such a large event, and staff, food, rooms and drinks were all superb. Hotel immaculately kept, staff all very helpful and friendly and rooms brilliant. Very generously sized and clean. However, no tea and coffee in the rooms and only 1 small bottle of water, expected more!
