Perfect stay for a family . Clean pool and quiet beach 3 min drive with a good restaurant. The host David was very helpful .

We recently stayed in Salema 202 for the second year running and once again we had a fantastic stay, The grounds of this medium sized complex are kept in an immaculate condition. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable and has a large balcony which overlooks the large pool and attractive grounds complete with a stream (stocked with fish and frogs!), ponds and palm trees. There are always plenty of sunbeds available. We felt very relaxed with our children as there is security on site and it is gated. We would recommend that you use the underground car-park to keep your car cool. There is a handy pool bar, restaurant and games room on site. There is also a tennis court/5 a side pitch in the grounds and a golf course nearby. As it is relatively remote we would recommend hiring a car (we found the service with Sixt rent a car very good). Although it is possible to walk to the nearby Meia Praia beach (and restaurants) you have to climb a hill on the way back. Pingo Doce supermarket is only a short drive away. Lagos does have a strong English scene but it is an attractive town to wander around (including the marina). We recommend taking a boat trip on a catamaran (Discover tours) from the marina. There is a footbridge and water taxi service until 1845 (vai and vem) linking the marina (best to park here) and the town. Don't miss the pro putting course (in Lagos) which is great fun but go early evening to avoid the crowds and heat ! If you want to avoid the busy towns and beaches it is possible to reach lovely villages and unspoilt beaches within a 45 minute drive such as Aljezur, Monte Clerigo, Arrifana and Amado beach. These beaches tend to be less crowded than beaches nearby such as Camilo. We hired body boards on all of the beaches but do take your passport or ID. It is best to park in the village or on the road leading down to the beach. Sometimes there is a sea mist on these beaches. The towns of Ferragudo and Silves are also worth a visit which have retained their original charm and are quieter and better value. The toll A22 road was largely empty and worth paying the car-hire company the extra for the toll device (fees are charged to your credit card at the end depending on your usage which are not excessive). Driving is very straightforward and signage is very good. Please note the aqua parks get extremely crowded in the months of July and August especially slide and splash. David (owner) is extremely helpful with suggestions and responds immediately to any issues in the apartment. A fantastic family-friendly apartment which we highly recommend. An absolute oasis.

My family of two adults three children just returned from this lovely apartment complex. Our three bedroomed apartment was beautiful with a very well equipped kitchen and balcony off every bedroom . There is no Aircon in the apartment however plenty of fans in each room which were sufficient at night . We enjoyed the views of the pool from the apartment . The pool was great and food at the pool bar was really good and priced very reasonably. The complex itself was well maintained and such a lovely place to be. The stunning Beach is 2 minutes by car. A car is necessary to get into the town of Lagos as the complex is a far out and at the top of a steep hill but it’s worth. David the owner is a pleasure to deal with and the apartment complex manager paul is very helpful. Overall it was a wonderful holiday and would definately recommend it.

Just returned from this lovely apartment complex. Our three bedroomed appartmemt was really lovely with a very well equipped kitchen and balcony off every bedroom . We self catered a lot and enjoyed the views and outdoor dining. The appartment was very well serviced . All staff were very professional and Julianna and Carla at reception could not have been more helpful - booked day trips, airport transfers and made whole holiday seamless for me . The pool was never packed and there were always recliners avaiabke. There is a tennis court and playground just beside the pool The pool bar and restaurant prices were reasonable and they ran a happy hour every evening. The complex is beautifully landscaped with a lovely bar/ restaurant on the complex. It was secure with a security guard at night time. We did not hire a car - used Uber. Beach was approx 2 km and an uphill walk to go back to complex so this was not an easy climb in midday sun. Beach beautiful with a lovely bar/ restaurant on beach . The apartment is a 2 minute drive to the beach and has lovely gardens that are well kept. Tennis court and play area for the kids and a big pool! The bathrooms are lovely and the rooms spacious with a large living area. The pool bar is handy and well priced especially during happy hour. Lagos is a lovely town with plenty to offer all ages and a lovely selection of restaurants.

Jardim Da Meia Praia is going to be my preferred destination for my future trips to the Algarve we are just about to finish a wonderful 7 night stay in this beautiful resort.We booked a three bedroom townhouse in the block called Luz room 104.The townhouses are beautifully appointed with excellent furnishings and really good WiFi which is important for the kids with their iPads.The townhouses have a lovely garden with a barbecue.The pool is terrific with plenty of sun loungers and never gets too packed the pool restaurant Destino is excellent with very reasonable prices all the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to be helpful.Special mention to the resort manager Carla and Julianna in reception who are fantastic to deal with and great with advice for every need you might have overall a great holiday in a great resort and I highly recommend Jardim Da Meia Praia.

Salema 202 is a beautifully designed and furnished, very large apartment with great kitchen, lounge, balcony and views. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the pool was huge and fantastic for swimming. We highly recommend a stay here - you will not be disappointed.

Our spacious apartment was spotless,comfortable and had everything that a group of 6 friends could possibly need for a week away in the sun.The equally spacious balcony,easily accessible from both the kitchen and lounge,allowed free movement for eating,drinking and socialising whilst enjoying the time of day and the view.The gardens are superbly maintained and the pool is beautiful.In fact,the pool area was much enjoyed with sun-loungers,shades,toilets,a shower and not least,a bar and cafe.We ate at both the cafe and the restaurant and the food was lovely. Paul and Norma,managers on site,welcomed us on arrival despite the late hour. The kitchen has got some basic provisions but I was able to email in advance with a shopping list to cover the first couple of meals before we could get to a supermarket.This was an excellent service and much appreciated. We used Yellow Fish airport transfers,easily booked online in advance,for both journeys to and from Faro.They were very friendly and very efficient. We used Uber for everything else.Equally friendly,equally efficient,particularly in our needing a 6-seater and really cheap.The beautiful beach is fairly close and we always walked there,and ate at three of the nearby restaurants,but we always got an Uber back.The local supermarket is also fairly close but not without a car. The shopping trips,the boat excursion,the evenings out in Lagos were all made so easy and therefore so enjoyable. We loved our stay at Jardim da Meia Praia and would definitely recommend it to all,families and,as in our case,a friendship group,alike.

Great apartment in a fantastic location. The apartment was tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The gardens and pool are beautifully maintained. Situated near the beach and Lagos town and marina we had a perfect holiday and will definitely return. Many thanks for a great holday.
